Awww this was our last dinner in Grand Rapids we walked here from our hotel, it was close no problem! The atmosphere was perfect for us to relax and talk, upscale but comfortable I would say! The food was pretty good, the Fries Brussel sprouts needed to cook for like another 10 minutes, to me they were served almost uncooked, but I like mine crispy, but besides that, everything else was good! Loved the apple cake at the end!

Everyone seemed to enjoy! Smashburger, fish tacos, crab cake, and apple Brie grilled cheese were all a hit.

Great happy hour and girls night spot. We sat outside on the patio, and our waitress was great too. I will say, all three of us thought our drinks were overly STRONG. Not necessarily a complaint, but be aware!

We had a lovely dinner here and really enjoyed the overall experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The drink selection definitely outshines the food menu, with a great variety of cocktails and wines to choose from. I ordered the skirt steak with mashed potatoes. It was good, but nothing particularly memorable. The standout appetizer was the whipped goat cheese--absolutely delicious and easily my favorite dish of the night. I tried the basil margarita, which had a bit more basil than I expected. If you're a fan of bold herbal flavors, you'll probably love it. My regular margarita, however, was perfectly balanced and excellent. The wine selection was also impressive. For dessert, we had the Peanut Butter Crème Brûlée. It was unique and worth trying, though it reminded me more of a rich, creamy pudding than a traditional crème brûlée. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I'd definitely return to try more of the menu.

The food and service here is always great. They've got awesome daily specials and happy hour deals. This is the perfect place for a nice date night or just grabbing a drink and app before a movie or game. The smash burger and garlic fries are a must try.

Stopped in the other night before a musical at the Civic. When we walked in we we're probably greeted. We did ask if we could sit outside with the patio was not yet open for the season. We were sat at a small table near the window with some big black leather chairs (very comfortable!) A waitress quickly greeted us and we decided to just stick with some waters and she reviewed the specials of the day. I ordered the 123 burger, which was absolutely delicious. I got the California garlic fries as a side and they did not disappoint, but left my breath as something to be desired. my mom ordered the Michigan pear salad on mixed greens and really likes it - large portion. Overall, the service the vibe in the food were great, but I had higher expectations than what was delivered. Nice restaurant, but did not stand out with all those in Grand Rapids. Hoping to come back and try again soon.

My fiance and I came to One Twenty Three at 8pm on a Friday night on a whim and were able to be seated and served right away! I called ahead to see what the wait was looking like since they are a first come, first serve kinda place. I also asked if they validate parking being attached to Studio Park and they do! We also got lucky with parking and got a spot right in the front entrance but it was good to know. We ordered the Southwest Chicken Eggrolls, the Smash Burger, and the 123 Burger with truffle fries. I love the branded bun for aesthetics. It wouldn't be my go to place but I'd definitely come back to try other items or come here as a back up plan. It is connected to Studio Park and right across the back of Van Andel so it is a nice spot to get something to eat in the area.

If you're looking for something packed with protein, try their chicken and rice bowl! It was different than what I had pictured in my mind and I thought it would be more like a poke bowl, but instead it reminds me more of a burrito bowl from Chipotle. It wasn't bad, but it was different than I expected and I wish the rice was less soggy. I tried the chicken and rice bowl because I've heard great things, but I'll probably try something different next time. Other than that, our server, Peter, was very attentive and kind and the ambiance is great!

Ma! The meatloaf! The best meatloaf and a favorite staple at 123. Parking validated at Studio Park(ing). Open seating at the bar is available. 5 PM on Saturday was a 40-50 min wait for a table of 3. Expected for downtown on the weekend. Seats by the windows are cold! It was 30 minutes from ordering starters to getting them. The server apologized for the wait time. Wish we could have the fries or something sooner after waiting 50 min for a table! Next time, I'll see if they can just bring out the starters as they are ready vs all at once. Seriously almost went to get popcorn at the attached movie theater. LOVE: * MEATLOAF * GARLIC FRIES - Crispy, plenty, and DELIVERS on the garlic! Would Order Again: * PIEROGIES Starter - mashed potatoes in a fried pierogi (3) * BEET SALAD - large bowl to share as a starter or add protein for a meal. Lots of golden and red beets with goat cheese and pine nuts, over lots of arugula. Dressed perfectly. * PAPARDELLE BOLOGNESE * CARROT CAKE - so moist and delicious! Mixed feeling on the coffee frosting - the whipped frosting was so smooth but the espresso bean flavor took over the carrot cake flavor. The cake would be fabulous on its own. PASS: * HONEY CHIPOTLE CHICKEN SANDWICH - on the specials menu. The chicken was well cooked and juicy but the sandwich itself was confusing. Nice chargrilled flavor plus mayo, lettuce, and tomato made it taste like a burger. Didn't taste any sweet or chipotle flavor. The tiny slivers of fried jalapeño slices had no flavor and could easily be confused as an olive burger with the mayo. This review is even getting confusing! Oh, and the ciabatta bun is bland and falls apart. I ended up just eating the chicken breast and veggies with a fork and knife.

Went here on a Monday night and was not aware of the Monday night half off meatloaf special. Well, that's what I got and wow! The service was great, ambience was great and will return.

Cheese, Caramelized onions, pickles and some good sauce!! 9.3/10 Buns: Brioche! Classic! Toasted up nice! Love that!!! 8.7/10 Fries: Thin! Nice and Crispy! Seasoned real nice! Sun-dried Tomato Aioli is the star of the show!!! 9.1/10

The food is amazing, I had a smash burger with fries. And a pineapple mule for my drink. The restaurant has beautiful decor, and a nice kids menu. My kids got boneless wings with fries. The staff was attentive and polite. I would definitely return when in Grand Rapids

The theming is truly off the charts with so many cool things everywhere you look. I've been in both the lower and upper floors of the restaurant and the fun follows all throughout. The food was good and had good portion sizes. The menu has a lot of Hawaiian and Asian flavors represented. The drink menu is massive with a great section of NA mocktails that were really fairly priced. We got drinks and entrees and the entire process took around 45 minutes with me struggling to decide what to order. The service is really attentive without being overbearing. The use of both servers and food runners allowed for the process to be quick while not feeling rushed at all. Our server also gave great recommendations and was helpful throughout the night. While the price of things may feel high, I do think the ambiance was pretty worth the cost and the food was enjoyable! I'd definitely come back.

We had reservations and did have to wait about a half an hour to be seated, but we were brought to a table in an intimate little nook which made the wait worth it. To be honest, you shouldn't have to wait that long when you have reserved a table as a specific time. Russell was our server and greeted us immediately. Other staff members actually brought out the food we ordered but rusted check on us occasionally. He was personable and friendly. We started with cocktails. Hubby had the Penicillin cocktail substituting in bourbon. I had the non-alcoholic Orange Creamsicle. I love that Max's had a few NA options among their huge cocktail list. We shared the wonton nachos as a starter, which had huge cubes of tuna on top the lightest wontons along with wakame, jalapenos, edamame, avocado, and pineapple salsa. Amazing! For dinner hubby had the drunken noodles, black garlic chicken thighs with cabbage, brussels sprouts, carrots and peppers on top of rice noodles with peanut sauce. I tasted his dish, and it was so flavorful and the chicken was very tender. I ordered the tuna poke bowl, sushi rice surrounded by wakame, avocado, carrots, shallots, and edamame then topped with poke sauce. So good! I did have to send it back, though, because the tuna came out with furikake after I told our server that I don't do seeds. The kitchen flubbed up, but they were happy to make my dish seed free. This restaurant was definitely a fun visit and it reminded me of Kon-Tiki-Ports in Chicago. If you're in the Grand Rapids area, I do recommend stopping by for dinner or sit at the bar for one of their cocktail creations. The atmosphere is fantastic!
