    Alaska Roll & Tuna Roll
    Ruthy G.

I came here with my friends and we really enjoyed our time! The wait was lowkey so long but our waitress was so kind and caring for us! The ramen here is very rich, so if you like that it's a must have! The pho was so good! Get one to split if you're wanting to get sushi too... it's very big. Get the sushi. Anything is good. I got the Alaska roll and tuna roll and both were delicious!! Skip the edamame and rangoons :/ very mid. But do get the kani salad !!! I'm also just a stickler for this but if you want a good date spot, this isn't really it... too many TVs.

Eight of us celebrated two birthdays recently. We had an amazing time!! The drink menu is extensive with many Asian beers, specialty cocktails, wine and mixed drinks. We shared two appetizer sushi rolls: one spicy and one mild. Each had 8 pieces for a very affordable price. Five had a variety of ramen and pho. Delicious and flavorful. Hibachi is plentiful and loaded with flavor. Our server Isaac was helpful and professional. The consument expert of all menu items! We make this our favorite for special occasions!!

I went here recently after seeing rave reviews from friends like amazing Yelp reviewer Olivia A. I went during a busy weekend and sat at the bar. The ambiance was very lively and the staff was very attentive but not overbearing. We received a nice amuse bouche that was some type of raw fish on a potato chip. I ordered crispy tofu as an appetizer and the karaka ramen. The food came out in a timely manner and was great in terms of flavor and temperature. I did ask for a couple of modifications that were forgotten but luckily I did not have any type of food allergy. I will say, the biggest issue with Ginza is that there is little to no parking anywhere around. There are a couple spaces in a small lot near the restaurant but other than that you may have to risk towing or buy something from another location to use their parking. Luckily I had some donations to Goodwill so I was able to use their lot.

This is my second time at Ginza! They offer a wide variety of options - sushi, ramen bowls, poke bowls, and hibachi to name a few. We decided to come in for some lunch. Luckily, the weather was nice and we sat outside. Our server was friendly and prompt. We tried some sushi rolls and poke bowl with yellowtail. All of the food was fresh and very tasty. The portion size of the poke bowl was perfect. I was worried it would be mostly rice but it had plenty of fish and veggies. We would definitely come here again. Food has been consistently good on both visits.

Met some friends at Ginza for dinner- I love their sushi and ramen, but decided to try the pho this time! It was good, but not as amazing as the ramen and sushi! My husband had ramen and loved it. We also ordered the crab rangoon- they were really good but would've loved a little more filling in them. Our server was great, and flexible with our group showing up at different times. Overall, a good experience, we'll definitely be back!

I think this is one of the best sushi restaurants in GR. It was on my suggestion, and I'm glad my husband and I tried it. I just ordered online, so I don't have the full experience, hence the 4 stars. My husband said the place looks cozy. Workers are polite. I ordered Bulgogi style beef for my husband, and he approved! The Karaka ramen is the bomb dot com! Huge serving. It's flavorful, and the pork was tender! I also ordered Chen's Roll in seaweed paper and the Dynamite roll. Everything is absolutely delicious! It's definitely worth the drive, even in this snowstorm. We'll definitely be back... my husband wants to come back on his birthday! Will update my review then. Overall, we highly recommend this place.

    Love boat

If you're up for trying a variety of items, the Love Boat for Two is the way to go! It's $72 for the boat and it comes with an assortment of sashimi, Nigiri, and your choice of one classic roll and two special rolls (special rolls must be priced $17 and under). You also get to choose soup or salad as your starter. My husband and I are fat so we always get the love boat and eat the whole thing, but I'm sure it could be split among 3 people and each person would still be full/satisfied. They also have hibach, bento boxesi and noodle soups on their menu (the usual fare), so there's something for everyone! Make sure you head here earlier in the day as it gets super packed at night, especially on the weekends and the wait times can be over an hour long.

Clean restaurant and kind staff. Food wasn't what I was expecting, the tempura chicken was more similar to chicken tenders. The variety of sauces for my gyoza and spring roll was nice, though. I was surprised to see a substitution fee for a sweet potato roll instead of the California roll, which was normally cheaper than the latter.

One of my favorite sushi / ramen places in GR. Every sushi roll we ordered was delicious. I strongly recommend getting a few different orders and splitting. The ramen is delicious, warm, and full of flavor. The portions are large! It's exactly what you want during a cold winter day or the next morning after going out. I'll definitely be back.

I'm in Grand Rapids for the weekend and my cousin recommended Ginza since we were craving sushi. Usually it's hard to find quality sushi and sashimi in Michigan but this place exceeds my expectations. We started with the sashimi appetizer and it was so fresh! The spring rolls were also delicious. We got a lot of different rolls and each one was amazing. They are also very generous with giving you extra sauces. Service was amazing. We sat at the bar and everything came quickly even though it was packed. The place is also very cute but parking may be a struggle when it is busy. Overall I loved this place and will be back.

    Sushi Bento Box

One of my go to sushi spots in GR. There's quite a variety on the menu. I really like to get the poke bowls (all the flavors of sushi but in a bowl so easy to eat and to take to go) and the bento box (so much food and great when you can't decide). The atmosphere is nice but not formal, definitely can be casual. They seem to be busy every time I go in but service is good.

This place was well worth the 30 minute wait. We were seated at the bar and our bartender/server was very entertaining and served us very well. The sushi was fantastic. The Ramen was amazing and the fried rice added a nice touch. Highly recommend making a reservation!

I got the fried goza and the yaku udon. I was super excited. It came out in about 5 mins. OK portion. I tried the goza with the ponzu sauce. Ponzu too salty for me and not much flavor. Ditto that for the goza. Crunchy but zero flavor. I don't even know what I was eating. And unfortunately the same for the udon. The chicken which you get a good amount was way overcooked and hard, flavorless and dry. It was supposed to be to have veggies and it had some lettuce on top and a few shredded carrots but no real veggies. The noodles had a nice coating of sauce and were OK but couldn't make up for the dish. Very disappointing overall. Reviews good so I was excited. But honestly it was not good. This is a skip. Maybe an off night but it wasn't good.

I adore crab so ordering that was a no brainer. Their coffee is strong. It took a ton of cream to change the color... though it was delicious with free refills for $5. The omelette was heaven. All the flavors melded well and I appreciated the crisp acidic salad to cut the richness of the omelette. My only critique is wishing the crab salad topping was a bit more decadent. For $21 I was hoping for big lumps of crab rather than cool shredded mayo based salad. All in all, I love this place, I love the concept. It was quite busy and was thankful to snag a seat at the bar.
