Wow, just WOW! Did my dad just have shoulder surgery at a medical center or the Hilton hotel? VIP…read moreand 5 star service since we walked through the door and to my dad getting discharged. I must admit, my expectations were low since I saw this was apart of Lake Health system and you don't hear a lot about them. Dr. Gobezie is an angel sent from the heavens above. Such a down to earth person with a loving and giving heart. I wish all doctors were just like him. HA im dreaming in LA LA land for that. but seriously, DR. Gobezie is a role model for the ideal doctor in a perfect world. He is amazing. This is a newly built building on the corner of Chagrin and Richmond Rd. Super close to the Interstate 271 Beachwood exit. This building has only been up and running for a few months so everything is super new and beautiful! Everything is top of the line. Comfy chairs with big screen tvs and outlet stands near the seats for charging stations in the waiting area. They have a coffee shop near the registration desk when you first walk in with great coffee, light bites from Presti's bakery and oatmeal cups!. I had one of the seasonal lattes, Maple! holy yum. Seriously one of the best Ive had. I drank it so fast. Alittle expensive but it was a 20 oz for 5$+ but so good. All proceeds go to charity! again DR. Gobezie is an amazing man with an amazing heart. Staff is so wonderful! Everyone from the custodians, receptionists, nursing assistants, nurses, physical therapist, respiratory therapist, and doctors. Everyone was amazing. Upon walking in, my father and I were greeted by the receptionists, checked in quickly and my father was taken back. I had to leave for an appointment but my phone number was taken for any updates while I was gone. I dropped him off at 8:30 and I returned around 11:15. I was walked over to a tv screen on the wall which showed each patient (not by name but by a code). My father was pointed out and it showed him still in the operating room. His surgery was scheduled till 11:30. It listed the PACU, Operating room, and Post Op room and had a checkmark on each place he would be at so you know where he is at all times. About an hour later, I was directed to a conference room where Dr. Goebezie talks to you by Skype or some sort. There you can talk to him directly from the operating area. Ask any questions. He is such an easy going and knowledgeable guy. He let me know how the surgery went and what he did. About an hour after that, I was able to go up to my fathers room and see him (escorted by another wonderful receptionist). My father had to stay overnight due to medicare, but he was feeling so great, he could of left that day. He was in minimal pain. He didn't even receive a nerve block (he declined it) and didn't even take the Percocet he was prescribed, only Tylenol. He said he felt so much better than the pain he was in pre-op. His room was huge! With a big screen tv. Big bed with lots of buttons and technology. Spacious bathroom, reclining chair and a sofa that turns into a bed if I wanted to stay. On the unit there is a refreshment area which I was given permission to help myself. They had a fridge stocked with different soda drinks, juice, milk, pudding, and jello. Freezer with ice cream cups and popsicles. Also saltine crackers, graham crackers, and Loorna Doones (my dad's favorite). When my father first came to the room, they were out of graham crackers. The nursing assistant went on a mission to find more and came back with a handful of them for my father. The nurse also came back with 3 packages of Loorna Doones. My dad was in heaven to say the least. It meant the world to him and myself. A physical therapist and Respiratory therapist came in to talk to him. They were both wonderful and so informative. Other places they come in and drop off a piece of paper or the breathing spirometer and leave. Here they went in great detail and even I learned a lot while listening. The physical therapist drew a picture on the board to show us what type of operation the doctor did (an implant he created personally). Wow! The respiratory therapist went into great detail why its very important to take deep breaths to prevent pneumonia and to use the breathing spirometer frequently. In my dad's case, he used it during commercial breaks. :) His menu was amazing as well! he could order any time he wanted. There are no set meal times just when you please. I urged him to order something so he ordered a turkey sandwhich which he said was great. For dinner, he ordered the filet and said it was fantastic! I wish I got a picture of it. He was scheduled to leave the next day but I think he would of been willing to stay longer at that point. He said he ordered an omlette in the morning and that it was huge! I cant express how much I appreciate Dr. Gobezie and his staff for taking such great care of my father. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all! Highly recommend!

Chloe (with a "C" thank you very much ) is a CBD expert and will provide all you need to know about their supplements, tinctures, etc. Autumn, has answered the phone every time I've called, she is always pleasant, answered all of my questions and was very patient (she...also...laughed at my jokes - which makes her funny) Initial Evaluation: done by Laurie. This was unlike any eval I've ever had, including the 2 doctors who sent me for PT and another PT place I went to before Balance Solutions (only went to 1 appt. = terrible). Laurie didn't just sit in a chair and ask boring questions, she was very hands on. I was up and down, moving/twisting/turning this way and that way, all the while she had her hands on my shoulders, hips, legs - measuring/assessing/evaluating. Laurie determined my treatment plan and put together my team of people who will be helping me through this journey. Laurie was fun (a requirement of mine), laughed at all my jokes (another requirement) but stayed on task and kept the process moving. She was very engaged and a good listener. After the eval, I had a massage from a very nice person but I don't remember her name (she went to Nordonia High School) Facility: VERY clean. Ample parking. Easy to get to.

I had MRIs taken and they showed arthritis and two bulging disks in my lower spine ,L4 and L5. I was referred to physical therapy for 8 weeks with no relief. I also tried Stretch lab with no relief from the pain. I then met with Dr. Christian from Chagrin Chiropractic and Wellness. After examination and reading my charts, she said I was a very good canidate for decompression therapy to heal the disks. After just one appt. with the decompression table, I was pain free, but it would take 10 weeks to get optimum results. Her staff is phenomenal and very skillful .I finished my treatment about 2 months ago and still am pain free and able to do all the gardening and walking I want. I highly recommend Dr. Christian and her staff. They are the best! Mike Burke

I was explaining the nature of my doctor's order and instead of actually listening to me, she was lecturing me in the most condescending tone she could muster. When I could finally get a word in edgewise, she responded with, "then why can't you just do what you did before?" Ridiculous. There are many other offices in the area, go elsewhere. My first appointment went smoothly and the technician was kind and compassionate. They need a new person working the phones who can reflect the level of service offered here. Unfortunately, I refuse to be disrespected like that and will not be returning.

I took my wife to the Beachwood, OH Advantage Diagnostics facility for an ABD/PELV CT scan W/O…read moreContrast, for hematuria and specifically to rule out kidney stones. Being certified in CT and having worked in radiology for over 15 years, I knew what she should expect during her visit. Therefore, I advised my wife ahead of time to be certain to reiterate to the CT tech prior to the scan that she was there for a "kidney stone protocol", which she did. A kidney stone protocol calls for especially thin spiral CT slices in the range of 1.0-2.0mm, which is according to industry standards. The thinner slices permit the detection of smaller stones/calculi that might otherwise go undetected with the standard 5mm slices. Unfortunately, the CT Tech was very impersonal, didn't explain anything to my wife beforehand and simply went through the motions to get the job done. There were no patients in the waiting room at the time - no rush - zero pressure - no excuses. Once home, I reviewed the images on the provided disc and discovered that the scan was performed utilizing 5mm thick slices. I contacted the office and spoke with the CT Tech who insisted that the axial images were indeed performed at 2.0mm. Thinking perhaps I misread a series on the disc, I re-reviewed all of the images and confirmed that the axial images were indeed performed at 5.0mm thickness and not with 2.0mm slices as I was being told. I then called the CT Tech again, who, stating that she was currently looking over the images, assured me that the images were performed at 3.0mm thickness. I said, no, I'm looking at the images as well and they were performed at 5.0mm. She then conceded that yes, the images were at 5.0mm. ??? When I asked why she told me previously that the axial slices were performed at 2.0mm, she said, no, we do them at 5.0mm. So, I was first told the scan was performed using 2.0mm slices, then 3.0mm, then finally the truth at 5.0mm. To make matters worse, prior to our appointment I asked what the price would be for this particular CT scan with direct payment not using insurance. The cost was very reasonable. However, to reduce the out-of-pocket cost even further, we asked that they submit the claim through our insurance provider instead. Weeks later, we receive a bill in the mail from Advantage Diagnostics that reflected only minimal savings on our behalf. Interestingly, however, they billed and received over five (5) times the initial direct pay quote from our insurance provider. In the end, we thought that we had discovered a reasonably priced imaging facility that we could rely on for our diagnostic imaging needs as an alternative to the larger institutions. On one hand, the schedulers were terrific and very helpful in orchestrating things with the doctor and the insurance company in the process of establishing the appointment. The CT Tech, on the other hand, showed incompetence, questionable integrity and a gross lack of concern for the patient and the patient's diagnosis. Add to that the gross overcharge to our insurance provider and it goes without saying that there is no "Advantage" to the services provided by this company. Needless to say, we will not be back.
