The doctor and staff are so kind! The Dr really cares and goes above and beyond. So happy I found her

Prior to relocating to Dallas many years ago, my allergist informed me of bad things can be in the area for allergy suffers. Considering mine were mostly under control I wanted to keep it that way so upon relocating one of the first things I did was locate an allergist. Like with any doctor or dentist I feel there needs to be a partnership where the doctor and patient work together. Of course finding someone like this can be challenging as many physicians prefer to do the basic checks, write a prescription and the patient on their way. I've been a patient of Dr. Ghazi for over 3 years and continue to have nothing but good things to share. She respects and encourages the doctor/patient partnership. Whenever I have an appointment she is on time and allocates time to listen to me as I discuss how things are going. Overall, I continue to be very pleased with my care. Within the past ~18 months Dr. Ghazi ventured out on her own and opened DFW Asthma & Allergy Center. The new facility is state of the art and definitely compliments Dr. Ghazi's approach to patient care. The waiting area is comfortable and contains several comfy chairs along with a very comfy sofa. The exam rooms are equipped with the usual table and have several chairs in the event someone wants to accompany a patient on the visit. Her staff is equally caring and aligned with her approach to patient care. The receptionist promptly answers calls and do their best to accommodate personal schedule needs when setting up an appointment. On appointment day I'm always greeted with a warm welcome. The nurses I've encountered are kind and engaging. Also, since venturing out Dr. Ghazi is using technology to her advantage by providing many web-based services. After a recent visit and recommended course of action I was able to follow up with her via email. I am very impressed with how prompt her responses are. Add to that this was way more convenient for me than getting into a game of phone tag. While the new location is not as conveniently located for me, similar to many of her pre-existing patients, I chose to follow her for the top notch care she provides. If you're an allergy suffer in need of top notch care, DFW Asthma & Allergy Center is the place for you. Dr. Ghazi and her team are the best! read more

Honestly one of the best doctors I've seen, especially if you are a complicated case and have been tried several specialists prior. Dr. Ghazi always seems open to listen and take patient feedback to try to improve quality of life. Good listener, and has helped me greatly. If you suspect yourself of having any mast cell disorder, I would highly recommend seeing her ! Also, looking at other reviews that talk about staff turnover...this office sends our surveys asking patients how staff have treated them, and take very seriously when an employee is giving a patient subpar treatment. I've seen this office hold staff accountable to their actions and force them to improve, something I cannot say of most doctors offices (which will let patients suffer under subpar nurses and other staff without taking any action). After my initial review, my wife had decided to stick with this office for allergy treatment. Although there was the initial confusion re copays, etc, she felt that the doctor truly had her best interest at heart. The doctor is extremely kind and patient. read more

Dr. Ghazi and her staff do an excellent job and provide great customer service. I was most recently impressed when I recently witnessed one of her staff members (Melissa) diffuse a situation with patient who was very irritated over a simple misunderstanding. I thought the situation was handled very professionally by her staff. Little things make a big difference. read more

Dr. Ghazi is a very caring, compassionate doctor and does her best to work with you on not only your allergy issues but with your insurance coverage. Insurance is a very complicated thing to understand and she does her best to get them to pay for as much as possible. That being said, being an allergy sufferer for many years now, I finally have relief after taking shots weekly. In order for the "process" to work, it's important that you not miss too many appointments. Yes, she has had issues in the past with her staff, however, the staff she has now is wonderful and helpful. I have many wonderful doctors that I really like but always find their staff lacking...so those that do have complaints about doctors' staff should realize that it is like that in about 85% of your offices today and should not fault the doctor for that as good help is very hard for them to find. They did a wonderful job keeping open during the entire pandemic and has made a concerted effort to protect not only her patients but her staff, too. I highly recommend Dr. Ghazi to all allergy sufferers. read more

The doctor is a good allergist but there needs to be improvement with her office scheduling department. I have monthly appointments that I schedule a time for a Zolair shot. Routinely I have to wait 20 mins or more before I am called back for a shot that I had a set time for. In addition, the tiny waiting room is ridiculous. Having patients who often come with family members wait 20-30 mins after a shot results in literally standing room only. The reason being is the waiting room has seating for 12 people. For instance this Saturday I was in and every seat was taken and there were 10 of us having to stand and wait. Often times we are standing in front of doors and having to constantly move to let others in or out those doors as the remaining area to stand in is also very small. This office used to have a small practice feel and has now turned into how much many patients can be crammed in each day to make more money. Oh and to improve professionalism of the office stop with all the paper posted signs in all caps and printed in bold with different messages. DFW Allergy and Asthma you can DO BETTER. read more

I was a new patient back in March and spent roughly $700 out of pocket plus what insurance paid to have a scratch test. The initial office visit was fine and the Dr. was very nice; however, office staff came off as rude and unprofessional. It was suggested that I start an escalated shot treatment but I had to cancel as a result of being relocated for work. Fast forward a few months and I find out that the office billed my insurance twice for "supervision of preparation and provision of...." (Which apparently is preparing the shots) Insurance paid another $1000 and now I'm being billed for another $200 as a copay for services that were never rendered to me. I think most would agree that this gives the impression of a shady and unethical practice. I've made attempts to call the office and have been given the run around by the staff who remains rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to resolve my concern. New patients beware! Do yourself a favor and choose a different office or just keep taking your Claritin. read more

This place is extremely unorganized. I like Dr. Ghazi, but her staff is just atrocious. They told me that my allergy shots would ONLY cost $1000 (with insurance), but after I paid and came back a week later for an actual shot, they told me that $1000 was just the consulting fee and it would cost an extra $1500 for the actual shots. I was not notified of this prior and they made it seem like it would only cost half the actual amount. Every time I came in for a SCHEDULED appointment, I still had to wait at least an hour just to get seen. The girl at the front desk couldn't care less about what she was doing and couldn't get anything sorted out so prepare to have your documents misplaced. I called to get some documents sent over and they said they would. Waited about two weeks and finally contacted them just for them to tell me that they couldn't send it over. They didn't even want to call or email me to notify me of this issue so I waited around for 2 weeks for nothing. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this place and I highly suggest another place because this is just ridiculous. read more
