As expected, my swelling and pain got worse on days 2-3. However, I did not expect for them to both be worse on days 4-5. I had to drive all the way back to Waco on day 5 and he poked it and said there was no infection. It'd get better. Well that evening it got even bigger and the pain intensified. By that time I texted my sweet friend Kristen Smith who works for Dr. Wright. I sent her pictures of my horrific progression and she asked Dr. Wright for advice. His advice was much more helpful than my original Doctor. However, on day 6, I went ahead and saw my original Doctor from Waco the next day since he was in Corsicana working. I was thinking he would help but he basically did the same thing as the day before. Poked me, made me cry, told me to drive back to Waco the next day and he'd preform another surgery. Worst part was he sent me home worse off than how I came in. The pain and swelling got worse throughout that day. I had a horrible taste in my mouth, body aches and I started running a slight fever. I updated Kristen and within minutes Dr. Wright agreed to see me at 9:00 at night! I wasn't even officially a patient of his! When I got to his office he asked me several questions and then looked in my mouth. He was very gentle and reassuring. He immediately saw infection. He talked me through how to rinse my mouth and prescribed me strong antibiotics and pain medicine. It's now the next morning (day 7) after seeing Dr. Wright, I am beyond happy to say that my swelling and pain have decreased by quite a bit. This is the first day in a week that I have been able to enjoy life and my family. Yes, I still am pretty scary looking but I am confident that I'm on the mend. Dr. Wright and Kristen Smith are angels. I am now a proud patient of his. I can't thank him enough for helping me the way he did. He also has checked in on me several times to make sure I understood how to best take care of myself and to make sure we were still on the right track.

I am doing Invisalign at my local dental office, and after switching aligners recently, I was having a fit emergency, which was causing trauma with the new aligner. A friend that I work with recommended this office, so I swung in and explained what was happening, and the staff could not have been more helpful. Miss Teresa was more than happy to help, and everyone that I spoke with was exceedingly kind. I need to give a giant thank you to them, because without their help, the next few days of my shift would've been miserable!
