I've always heard of DFW vapor, but hadn't visited until recently. My eleaf box mod randomly stopped working one day (it had seen a fair share of abuse) and this location was the closest to my work. I stopped by at 11 am on a weekday and was pleasantly surprised to see 3 associates working the store. This establishment seemed particularly well staffed which I find to be an issue in most vape shops. Service = 5 stars! The problem came to inventory and selection for me, hence the 3 star review. I was using a 50 watt eleaf and wanted to replace with an identical item or something similar. The shop was out of stock in all 50+ watt rigs except one, a Kangertech Subox 50 watt. It appeared that they usually had quite a selection of hardware, they were just out of stock in ALL of them. The associate informed me that they were awaiting a delivery, but really??? My choice was only 1???? Okay fine. So I buy the Kangertech and the battery to go with it (annoying, this is now increasing in price and I'm not even getting the setup I want). I am informed this purchase comes with a free juice. Sweet! In the interest of fair disclosure, I'm PICKY about my juice. I am a ejuice snob. I admit it. I'm sensitive to juices that contain high PG or use less than awesome quality of PG/VG base. I only use juices made in the US of food grade additives and I want my juice to taste amazing. I don't want fruit flavored crap where the cherry tastes like nyquil and the grape tastes like gatorade, okay? I know, high maintenance. I digress... So ALL of their juices are house brand. They have zero options for well known and established premium label brands. I don't love being forced into your house brand, but as it is free and the associate informs me it is high quality, sure I'll go for it. I quite literally spent an hour trying different flavors (again, the service here was AWESOME... The guy working with me was VERY patient and understanding!) only to end up with something I wasn't thrilled with and has been collecting dust on my shelf at home for the past several months. It itches my throat, the flavor is meh, and its the best I could find after sampling nearly everything. So at the end of this adventure I ended up with a rig I didn't like, that came with a tank I didn't like, an external battery I didn't want to deal with and an endurable juice. The battery cover to the box comes off every time you drop it or set it down too hard. Half the time the battery pops out too. The battery (personally endorsed by the salesman) is apparently sketchy because it only works 1/2 the time. The tank actually isn't too bad, but the coils are crazy expensive and it doesn't hold much juice. I settled with this setup for 3 days before ordering my old setup online. This now acts as my backup, and even then I deep sigh every time I have to use it. To conclude, service = 5 stars. Assortment = 1 star. Having inventory in stock = 1 star. Price is pretty standard for brick and mortar locations, 3 stars. I'm sad to say it because I wanted you to be awesome, but you can do better DFW Vapor. read more

I just came here to buy an elfbar. I got it home and opened it and after the first hit it kept firing for about 6 seconds afterwards. I took it straight back and they switched it out with a new one that works great. The guy working there was awesome! This place is a total ripp off. I bought a am on nord less than a week ago from them and was told if I have any issues to bring it in. When i did the manager and clerk very rudly made it clear they wont do anything to fix the issue. I had the vape for less than 4 days before the tank broke on its own. It was not dropped or crushed or anything lile that. I literally pulled it out to fill the juice and the plastic broke. This is not the first time I have had an issue with this place. Stay away they will tell you they can help you if something breaks but will say something completly different when you bring it in. All I asked for was an exchange for a faulty item they sold. Will not honor their 60 day warranty on devices. This is the second time I've had this problem. They pointed to the scuffs from having the mod in my pocket with keys. No cracks or dents, scuff marks. It's a shame cause i like the store and I've been coming here to get all my stuff for over 3 years . Everyone is usually really cool and helpful (when you buying). But being told; kick rocks you can have 10% off another purchase, just sits horribly with me. But I'm a loyal customer and after being treated like this (twice) i just simply can not justify remaining a loyal customer. We have been shopping DFW Vapor since they opened this location. There seems to be a big turn over in employees but despite this ? They have all seemed to be very knowledgeable on all the products they carry. I have tried flavors I don't lIke and they might be great for someone else. I have found my favorite flavor, "cinnamon" It's kind of a menthol feel that I like which is odd because as a smoker I didn't like menthol. Everyone that works here is really nice and willing to take the extra time to talk to you either about e-cigs or liquid. Whenever I come in they are quick to offer to help, or apologize if they're busy with another customer, and when I was having issues with my atomizer they sat with me until we figured out a) what was going on and b) how to fix it. Best store in the area with multiple locations. Great juice selection and large selection of hardware. I buy everything from there as I like supporting local businesses that support our military. I first started with them online then they opened a store out in Lewisville. It was a drive but I made it a few times to get juice. Then they started expanding and I found that the Frisco store is a lot closer and just as a knowledge full staff. If I have questions they are always will to take the time to answer them. Highly recommending you at least stop by and look at the flavors they have a sample a few of them. Also the prices cannot be beat seeing what others in the area charge for their juice. Also take a look at the hardware and see what your next purchase might be and if there is something you are looking for and do not see it, just ask because they might have it in the back. read more

Ordered online, waited to ship to the store. Tracking number never updates, so I call the store after 5 days and they say, "oh yeah, we got your stuff a few days ago". Went to pick up, open my package, and some critical bits were left out so that I could not use my new vaporizer. Store had none in stock, and cannot communicate with warehouse. "Separate entities, man". There is also no way for the store to order the item I want for me to come pickup, rather than me ordering and going through the ship to store process again. Now it's Saturday and I want to spend some more money, but have no desire to drive to Frisco without knowing if they have my item in stock. It's 2016, so I pick up the phone and try to call. There is only the 800#, and I want to call the Frisco location; but the phone tree that is usually there for me to select the store I want to talk to is off, and there is just the after hours message, so I have no way to call the store and see if they have what I want. What a ridiculous organization. Why do I have to call a central #, rather than the store directly, especially if they are different entities and cannot order items from their own website to stock? The staff here are super knowledgeable and friendly. Great service and selection. And ask about deals, they're always running specials. I will keep on returning to this location. So I upgraded to a bigger,more powerful mod. Using the house juice, everything tastes so chemically. I tried premium/Max vg that they sell and nothing helped. So I decided to try a few other places. And wow, what a difference it made. There are so many flavors of juices out there. So unfortunately I will no longer be buying my juice from here. So if you're like me and have only ever gone here, try a few other places for comparison. Check out Nirvana Vapor in The Colony, awesome prices and friendly staff. Another is Vapor Lab in Frisco, a little pricey but good selection. Try the juice brand Naked or 3 Dukes, best bang for the buck. read more

This place sucks. Too many pretentious yuppies working here (former HS potheads). It's like walking into a highschool cafeteria in the morning with these sleezebags. They had the best s'mores flavor (discontinued) Their other juices are "..k"..but it's a ripoff comparing what you can get from Vapewild (another local vape company based in Addison). For the amount you pay for 2 30 mL here; you can get 8 30mL at Vapewild and it's good. I've been vaping since 2011, I've been through silver bullets, Provaris, cigalikes, cartimizers, pro tanks, vamos, squonks, russians, kayfund, smoks, aliens, halos, mechs, drippers, subohm tanks and a ton of rebuildables - so take it from me. Vaping is supposed to help reduce costs compared to what you were spending on cigarettes and most importantly keeping you off of them. $20 for 30ml of OK juice isn't supportive read more

I've gone there 4-5 times either to purchase or with a question. Every time I've gotten a different salesperson, and every one was extremely knowledgeable about the products. They have a couple hundred flavors for sale and dozens of brands and accessories. I found the prices reasonable, but I haven't been anywhere else to compare. Less one star for their online/virtual presence. I tried to look up their phone number and couldn't find it anywhere. Google maps had it listed as a .com entity and when I called, it listed a store in Lewisville only. The automated system put me through to a voicemail box both times I called (midday on a Tuesday). Makes me scared to order anything through the website. So I just drove up there and had an answer in less time than I spent making the phone calls. Great service, in person. Online/on the phone, don't bother. read more

I have only ordered online and received my shipment promptly and well-packaged. There weren't any frills, but none were expected with such a small order. The liquid mixture didn't produce as much vapor as Mr E Liquid, but that may be a personal preference. I would certainly order again, and am looking forward to my first store visit! read more

Note this review reflects my own experience. Yours may differ from mine; furthermore my impressions may be as much the result of how I approached the experience, as the result of the shop itself. I live in Dallas, and I visited this place awhile back in what I would probably call a transitional phase. I had just begun rebuilding coil heads for protanks but had not gotten a truly rebuildable atomizer yet. I was caught in a strange place where 18mg nicotine was becoming too strong, but I hadn't gone through all of my 18mg liquid yet. I was in the area with time to kill so I thought I'd check it out. I had no specific agenda. The staff was friendly and helpful. No awe inspiring customer service or anything but they were very easy to deal with and answered all my questions. I asked for a tester and tried out a number of flavors. I have to say very few really grabbed my attention but taste is subjective and my taste in liquid may well have been changing at the time. The store had a pretty solid selection of hardware and supplies. My main complaint goes back to the liquid though. I did ultimately find a flavor I liked (and continues to be vapable). That flavor was Siberian Fireball (a fire/ice or cinnamon/mint type flavor). Apparently all the liquids are made locally at the Lewisville location so no customization is available and if they run out of your desired strength/flavor you might not have something to fall back on. The available nicotine levels were (if I'm remembering correctly) 0mg,4mg,8mg,18mg,24mg and 36mg. In my own experience something around 12mg is very popular among vapors, and a liquid somewhere in the 10-15mg range would have made a lot of sense for me at the time since I had been using 18mg juice but was about ready to step down. The flavor i chose provided enough of a satisfying throat hit at 8mg that I have not really noticed, but I could definitely see it being an issue if I had gone with something mellower in flavor. On the other hand, 8mg is probably a more appropriate estimate of my ideal level now after some more time has passed, so maybe I'm just being hypercritical. Anyway, I have no major complaints, and for anyone in the area who is looking to make the switch to a less harmful alternative to other nicotine products, this place is definitely worth checking out. In all likelihood I will end up there again at some point but I also don't see myself going out of the way to make it happen. read more

DFW Vapor was the shop I started with and I have always received great service. I was new to vaping and they have always taken the time to answer any questions I had. When I brought a new mod they also set it up and fully explained all the settings and functions. I've tried many of their e-liquids and they have all been great. They have a great variety but I did find myself trying some new shops for some different flavors. What I realized is that DFW has the best juice around. It is more rich and flavorful than any others I have tried so I only go there now. My favorite flavors are Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream, Master Munch Berry, NY Style Cheesecake, and Waffles. read more

BEWARE ON "PROMISE OF WARRANTY" I had a problem in the past with this place but wanted to give another chance. Well they blew it again. Bought Smoktec ZMax for $99.00 was told keep receipt because there was a 60 day warranty on the item. The Zmax starting changing settings on it's own and I would have to reset at least 6-8 times a day. Went to the store today and it had been 45 days since I purchased. The owner had to be called and I was told they would not replace with a new one. I was stunned to say the least. Customer service is completely absent with this company. Money is the bottom line and they don't give a f--- about you, I have never experienced such a disgusting display of greed and f---- the customer attitude. I have spent at least $500.00 with this place and will be finding another store for my future needs. Again they will not honor the warranty. Consider another Ecig company in the area where they understand customer service to be an important part of their business. read more

Just brought a device from this location less than an 2 hrs ago. Its was on charger for a majority of that time when went to use it the liquid had leaked. Took it back to store to get an exchange due to that and was treated as though the customer is wrong and that they have to hold the device for 24 hrs. Jessica was rude and her attitude toward the customers is unacceptable. My suggestion is to find another store where the customer is appreciated and not treated like a number and doesn't have rights. read more

I have been coming to this place for two & a half years now & I love it. The people are great, the customer service is very helpful and fast (as long as there aren't 50 people in the store) & the selection of oils is huge! The only problem I occasionally have is they will be out of coils for the Protank 3. Apart from that, I've never had a problem they didn't seem more than happy to help me with. Sam in particular. Their sample bar is really cool. They have over 200 flavors & all of them are available to sample. I've not been to another vapor store where that's the case. They provide you with a sampler battery & atomizer so you can try any & all flavors on the little racks from tobacco flavored to peppermint (my personal "all day vape") to such exotic choices as "Ja'Makin Me Crazy". These people know their stuff. They're well trained & are more than willing to teach you the little tips & tricks they have picked up along the way. I can tell you from experience that there is no such thing as a stupid question with these guys, just one they weren't expecting..and they can even answer that one. 5 stars 10/10 I love this place & cannot recommend it highly enough. If you're trying to quit smoking, go see these guys. read more

I had came in to this store earlier tonight from a trip from Austin with my GF to pick up two flavors (Pepper Mint and Vanilla Cream Custard = both 30ML 8Mg Nic, pretty good) The packaging could be better (but packaging has nothing to do with this low rating. Although "The Vapor Room's" 30ML seems to be bigger than DFW's 30ML (pretty obvious difference to me) for those who are reading this and who aren't informed, their juices at the store are set only at 75PG/25VG and they have 6 levels of nicotine to choose from - 0 and up. I also noticed the lotus with DFW VAPOR advertised all over it..and I have a good idea that the Persian dude that works in there (who didn't say one word to me except ask me where I got my Provari ring, [online idiot, do your research]) Anyways..walking in there I noticed 5 employees..all hipsters (surprising i know) but I didn't notice until my GF mentioned that she noticed whenever she walks into a vape shop with me they're all trying to act like its a tattoo shop = DBAGS. I don't care what products you sell but as a Loss Prevention employee at a retail store CUSTOMER SERVICE is always the FIRST impression to DRIVE SALES. 1) My GF and I noticed that some female entity (worker) inside the store is giving me this look right when I stepped out of the car, the kind of look like "ugh another customer coming in, I guess it's because - ITS A FUCKING RETAIL STORE" 2) The same staring girl (with fake eyebrows that were drawn in with probably a melted oreo considering she's slightly out of shape with a staring problem) was still staring me down 3) Even though I mentioned to these guys I'm fairly new to vaping, they treated me like I was an idiot. I have a V2.5 standard size Satin Black Provari, flushed ring, and 6ML tank from IBTanked..im pretty sure i've done my research online..enough to learn my lesson from buying a VAMO V3. 4) These guys were not very knowledgable except the tall blonde hair guy who was pretty helpful but everyone else was just trying to talk about their "real" life stories getting paid by the hour, even though I'm "new" I've learned pretty advanced knowledge about the vaping world. I mean come on! I just asked if they could mix a bakery flavor with mint or menthol (just to try) and if they already had mixed flavors. But I did earn fair business from the tall guy, he let me sample all the flavors before my purchase. Their products are up to date, the store set up is great, but the other 3 workers need to update their service skills.. unless you own a vape shop, it is not a profession..so at least you can try to obtain and develop a professional manner if you're expecting to work as a professional in the future. I know if one of the workers read this post they'll say "oh well, this bad reviewer won't come back to DFW VAPOR..but the other regulars will", tread wisely you minion..I've read several bad reviews from previous posts who won't come back (losing a customer) and now you've lost another one..even though there will be regulars...the non customer of DFW VAPOR will add up..one by one..tread softly my friend. read more

I really enjoy coming here. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and I enjoy the music they have playing there as well. All of the staff is nice, and I would say about half are very helpful and engaging, while the other half are more of your typical absent-minded employees. Not that I have any real complaints, they just seem distracted and a bit disengaged is all. The other employees are very helpful and can tell you all about their products and experiences and give you great tips and such. I really appreciate that they have the e-juice bar where you can try out all the flavors before you buy them. You really can't know if you're going to enjoy a flavor until you try it - the smell or name don't tell you much. I usually tend to buy things online because it's cheaper and easier, but the benefits of going to the actual store have been well worth the time and effort here. I bought my first vape here an eCab ($20) and it was a good experience and a cheap way to dip my toes into vaping. I came back looking to buy a more intermediate level vape (around $60) and lo and behold they had the eMode on sale down from $60 to $26. I was thinking about getting a different model but after talking about both with an employee there I decided to go with the eMode, and I am very pleased with my purchase and glad that I got to talk to someone who had used both and that I actually got to hold them and see them in person before committing. They were not even closed yet and one of the staff leaving to go home said they were done and the register was even closed. Staff speaks volumes about your facility. Suck big time, this location. Most retailers, and I say most loosely b/c they may have staff the same or worst than this staff. Other stores would let you come in if they are not closed. Apple is a perfect example. They will let you know when they are closed but they would not turn away any business before closing. Now one might say this company does not offer customer service like Apple. This place is a joke. They sell you defective batteries knowing this and then when you try to come back in knowing you JUST bought the item, they ask for the receipt. Who keeps receipts after a couple of weeks??? I'll be damned if I'm going to drop more money on another battery. 2 defective batteries bought there all died and would not recharge after a month. 1st one I had to replace with an ego ONE mega (and that shit ain't cheap). The ego ONE mega died in the middle of the night (supposed to last 24 hours) and wouldn't charge. Y'all just lost a dedicated customer. They sold me one of their twist batteries and a charger but after going back two times because the battery wouldn't stay charged was told that yeah, the charger I was sold can often times short out the batter they sold me and they still wouldn't exchange it for something else in the store. After about 30 minutes of going back and forth with the manager they finally gave me my money back but it shouldn't have taken that long and all I wanted was to exchange it for store product.
