You can now shop and purchase all of your items without ever being greeted by or even spoken to by a worker. Not good. Visited last night and there were 2 works, both on the floor stocking product. I walked by both and they did not say a word. When it was time to make my purchase, I walked to the counter...waited a couple of minutes to see if someone would offer to help....nothing. There are 2 self-checkout stations. Which is not always the easiest thing to figure out. The lack of customer service is just disappointing.

I also witnessed her being way too pushy with other customers to a point they walked out of the store without buying anything. Daiso management at this location, please do better. The other cashiers don't do this, so consider retraining.

When I asked the cashier when they would officially close she said probably June, but at the rate things are disappearing off the shelves, I'm not sure they'll make it that long! They still had some items and with the "up to 30% off", a lot of items are FINALLY under $1.00. I bought some basic needs like birthday cards, Purina Beggin' treats for my dog, make-up removal cloths, etc. The cute heart bag I bought there was filled up for $30. Looking at my receipt I just discovered I paid the regular price for a card - $2.99, though, so I think they made a error ringing it up. The staff was helpful scanning items to look up prices since a lot of their prices were ripped off the shelves and they allow me to put my items on a shelf that they would watch while I ran to the restroom because I ended up being in there longer than I expected. So go see what you can find before they close!

They ought to rename this 99 cents plus store. Very few items are 99 cents…read more Anyhow this store is brightly lit, clean, organized, and well-stocked. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I witnessed a customer struggling with carrying more than a handful of items when a kind employee approached her with a basket. The customer was grateful for the chance of unloading her cumbersome items. This same employee was staying busy with dusting and sweeping the floor. I had to stop to speak with her and give her a compliment on the appearance of the store. She replied that it was a team effort and everyone works hard to keep it in great condition. She was going to relay my comments to her manager. The shelves were organized, items were well displayed, and the aisles were free and clear. It was easy to maneuver the shopping cart around the store. Merchandise was easy to find. This is easily one of the nicest 99 cents stores around and I'm only too happy to be patronizing this business. I initially came here for gift bags and ended up spending over $70 for a variety of things I didn't know I needed! When it came time to check out, there was only one register opened. As I was waiting in line (and it was not a long wait), an associate directed me to her register. Now that's great customer service!

Luckily there is princess parking with signs stating that gym clients are not allowed to park in certain spots from 10 am - 6 pm... which is great as long as you are not going to the gym which is literally next door. This must be one of the smallest 99 cent only stores I've ever been inside. Unfortunately, it was also one of the most expensive for certain items. Flower bouquets ranged from $2.99-$3.99 where others have them for $1.99. I did walk out empty handed, however I was greeted upon entry and walked through the departments with ease. It is located in a rather smaller shopping center with many stores, but plenty of parking.

I learned about this chain (that we don't have in Hawaii) from Yelpers in Los Angeles. The merchandise (costing five dollars and less, in general) is geared towards the younger generation because they have cute merchandise (like stickers and bag charms), candy, books for adolescents, and items for dorm rooms. I saw many Hello Kitty things... and Snoopy... and Stitch! It was so challenging to resist! I decided on a greeting card for a dollar... and a pack of stickers... because this purchase can fit in my suitcase easily! Gosh... I wish we had Five Below in the 50th State!

The employees here always greet us and offer to help us with anything. The selection tends to be top notch. Love that they have started carrying Lego sets recently. Just recently we stopped in on our way to a festival in Ventura, CA and were able to grab some deals in the electronics section. They have a terrific selection of chargers and some tiny adaptors for USB-A and USB-C. We are able to grab some snacks for the road and even some bottled drinks - Barq's for me and a Coke Zero for the wife. Definitely worth stopping into this location on your next road trip.
