Arrived promptly, explained what they were doing, spoke to the water dept employee who came out to shut my water off--and then made sure everything was working properly once it was turned back on. Excellent customer service! Had them install gas line in our kitchen. Owner super helpful after I had called them because appliance installer said gas line needed to be moved because he couldn't push stove back as it was hitting the back stove leg. Owner came and turned out it just needed to be pushed back more, but he would have moved if needed. I had a slow water leak on my ceiling from the upstairs bathroom. After opening up the ceiling, I realized it was coming from the shower drain. The water leak was slow (and I had another shower) so I knew I could wait to get it fixed. Due to the second floor location, I decided I wanted a professional plumber to come out. I called to schedule a quote assessment and spoke with Zane Fonseca (co-owner). He was very friendly and discussed costs and availability with me. The cost for labor/hr seemed very reasonable. He wasn't annoyed when I had to call back another day to reschedule my appointment to better fit my work schedule. I was the second call of the day which means the plumber comes after the first job is finished (which begins at 8am) and that can vary. I received a 30 minute phone call before the plumber arrived. However, I did not know I was going to have two plumbers coming until they arrived but it was beneficial. The two did an assessment and helped each-other get the job done quicker; One had to go to HomeDepot to get a few parts since the shower drain was old and a different size while the other cut the brass drain out. The two men that came were very polite and professional. It took just under 3 hours to make sure all was good and ran the shower for 15 minutes to check for no leaks. (It's been over a week and still no leaks, yay!) They cleaned up the space afterwards! I would use this company again. They do no do sheetrock but I know someone who can close up the space. I recommend opening up your ceiling before the plumber comes (have a bucket and rag towel on standby) so they have full access once they arrive. read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! Fonseca and Griffin plumbing are by far the sloppiest, careless and unprofessional plumbing company EVER. I called the company and booked a simple job to run a vent pipe through a brand new metal roof in my new addition and to tie the plumbing that was already in place into the existing septic line under my cabin. Where should I start; Dustin called for payment quickly after he said he finished the job and said everything went great. I show up the next day to my cabin and notice that the new metal roof I had laying on the ground to finish the old roof of the existing cabin was cut and with a 1'6" piece missing. I was furious because now I cant finish the roof. I look up by where Dustin put the vent pipe through the roof and noticed he used the cut metal to patch the new metal roof about a foot from where he put the vent pipe through. I looked inside and could see he used a hole saw to cut no where near where the vent pipe should have gone. He used globs of caulk to seal around the patch which looked horrible on my brand new metal roof. On the bathroom floor below the vent pipe, purple primer was spilt all over my brand new pergo floors which are now permanently stained. Scraps of cut pipe, metal along with nuts and hangers were left in my lawn I called Dustin with no answer so I called Zane who I booked the appt through. Zane said " Sorry you have to take that up with Dustin, I cant help you. Are you kidding me??? Dustin is your business partner and I called the company to book it and Zane was the one who set up the appointment and gave me the price! The company is Fonseca and Griffin, Zane Fonseca and Dustin Griffin; and Zane tells me he has nothing to do with the job. Dustin finally called me back to give a bunch if excuses; I had a head cold, surgery last week etc. Who ruins someone's brand new roof, extra roofing metal and floors and says everything went great and never mentions it? The next day it rained. Guess what?, not only did the patched roof leak, but so was the vent pipe! Water coming in from both holes. Zane says sorry again, you have to take it up with Dustin. Dustin texts me and says put a towel where it is leaking and push the rubber boot up to stop the leak. Dustin says he has a roofer that will fix the roof and will call me. Nobody ever called and both Zane and Dustin just kept giving me the run around. Needless to say, I had to go buy a new boot and tar to fix their mess up in the pouring rain. A roofer that Dustin lines up comes by to put on 2 new sheets of metal. Guess what, the side of the new metal was cut completely crooked and when it rained it was still leaking. I called the roofer and he never called back On top of that, I never received the other piece of roof that Dustin ruined to patch hole he cut. This company is a JOKE and shouldn't even be in business. A person with no plumbing experience could do a better job. This has been a complete nightmare. Stay away from this shady company. I will be seeing this company in court for sure. read more

Kevin came within the half hour he was supposed to. He quickly figured out the problem with the bath nozzle and he had the replacement part in his truck. He also diagnosed and fixed another plumbing problem we had saving us another service call fee. We were only without water for a very short time and the price was very reasonable. 3 stars was for their pricing. I strongly urge you to get a written estimate before you have them do any work. I needed a main water shut off valve and secondary shut off valve installed. First off the technician did a good job. He was there early and did the work that was asked. Where my issue is was I was quoted over the phone that the job would take an hour to complete and the valves I needed would cost about $25 and $55 +/- respectively. As it turns out, I was charged for 1.5 hours for the labor and $33 and $91 for the valves. Where I was expecting to pay around $300 +/-, ended up being over $400. The worst part about this was when I voiced my concerns over the costs, the owner came back with the typical now that you have paid me, I don't really care attitude. For me, they have priced themselves out of any future work. But where they lost me as a customer was because the owner was too greedy to work with me on the cost of the mis-quoted valves. I own more than one residence and am purchasing rental property that will need work. Was it worth the $50? My advice is do some competitive shopping as there there are a lot of plumbers out there who are just as good and cheaper. read more
