Great work and wonderful customer service! We had them out to replace our outside hose spigot as it was leaking. We had to move it due to code rather than replace it and they moved it where we wanted it and saved us money by coming up with a better solution than we had in mind! The technicians were on time, took care to keep our house clean during the work, fast and professional. They walked me through all of the work done when finished and showed me how the new spigot and shut off worked. Fast response, great work, and responsive customer service! These guys are con artists. Tried getting my girlfriend in central square for 5k, another plumber charged us 600 and did the job right. Stayed in contact ahead of their arrival. Arrived on time and jumped right into the issue. The plumber was extremely helpful and provided options when appropriate. The plumber wore shoe covers, polite and friendly. Actual work completely quickly and reasonably priced. Work performed: Replaced a leaky pipe, installed new shutoff valve and hydrant. Also repaired bleeder valve gasket on a separate hydrant. read more

Good service, not great pricing. The plumbers were professional and completed the job they were hired to complete. These were definitely skilled plumbers. The job took a little longer than they anticipated and the price tag ended up much steeper than we anticipated. The invoice was very vague and included descriptions of the work but no breakdown of material costs versus labor costs. For instance, they had to leave for a while to go get extra copper then come back. I don't know if that time was included in the labor. That all said, the plumbers were very good with communicating throughout the process and the final product was what we needed done. read more

I had Pat to our house a couple of times including a backed up sewer line and for some new installs like a Instant Hot water heater and switching our electric stove over to a gas line. Pat was incredibly professional every time he came over and even remembered little details about me a year later. They weren't cheap, but reasonable and worth every penny, IMO. We called Do It Right as our bladder at camp was leaking. They were very nice on the phone and sent Patrick out to take care of it. He was very professional and polite. He found the problem right away and fixed it. I do think it was pretty expensive, but I am not sure what a whole total replacement of bladder and pipes would cost. I would do business again with this company as they came out the same day to fix, but I would get estimates from a few other places before diving in. read more

This company installed a hot water heater in 2018 in a house I just bought. Both the home inspection and my plumber picked up that it was incorrectly vented into the chimney and from there into the fireplace in the living room. This is a dangerous situation. The tank is being replaced next week with one that has a power vent directly outdoors. read more

I called Do-It-Right to clean/root out a backed up sewer line. They spent 2 1/4 hours and charged me over $700. I didn't complain (or write a review) because I didn't get any quote beforehand (my mistake). But now, 9 months later it's backing up again. I'll be calling someone else this time. read more

Eventually replaced my water system adequately, but stood me up on the day they said they'd come over, did not bother to warn me or reschedule, I had to call to complain after waiting a few hours. Then, the no-show was blamed on an incompetent employee (!!) Also the old water tank was never removed as promised. Still waiting for him to "send some boys over to get that out for you." I had a minor leak in my upstairs bathroom and this company was very efficient with scheduling me right away. The person they sent (Patrick) was very respectful and informative. He fixed the problem as cost effective as possible and then explained expectations for the faucet performance for the next year or so. Since he was already here, he reviewed with me maintenance ideas I could do to keep my plumbing running smoothly (and the advice was not attached to dollar signs!) Patrick does not mind explaining every move he makes and invites the home owner to watch him while he works. That is a definite bonus! He offered insight for future repairs and encouraged me to price compare with other companies while reminding me that this licensed business "may not be the cheapest but they will get the job done the best".
