I called the shop to try to get an appointment for a nose piercing for my underage daughter. I said I had her birth certificate and SS and asked him what kind of picture ID was acceptable for her since we didn't have one, but maybe he could guide me in the right direction. However, the gentleman that answered the phone was very disrespectful and impatient. He may have been with a client, but there was no need to scream at me and hang up the phone on me. I do not recommend this place based on customer service. He said he doesn't make the rules, which I understand, and calmly explained to him that all I needed was information. He acted like I was the one screaming and telling me the same thing over and over. He was not only unhelpful but very disrespectful to hang up the phone on me when I was calmly explaining all I needed was information. I have worked in customer service for over 20 years; if you can't answer a call, don't, or if you have to call back, ask for that. But answering just to scream and hang up the phone on a potential client shows a lack of integrity and professionalism. Don't even bother calling.

She said No. Once again, went to a local piercing shop Iris the same company that we went to before and was able to get our piercing done! We will NOT be coming back to Studs, and to be honest at this point with this happening twice, obviously not meant to be.

Are you out of your mind? She said she would get one if I got one. I have a feeling she will get one regardless. She has my blessing as long as she gets it done here.

I checked out the shop, and artists and booked all 3 of us with Danny because I checked his work. When we got there though Danny had just stepped out and then Roger the snake he is kept saying, "oh him and I work together all the time, it will be faster if I do your tattoo also and Danny does your other friend." Myself and my friend got our tattoos done (simple design and one color) with Roger and then my other friend with Danny. You'll see the difference in the pics. Roger didnt even clean the stencil off because I'm sure he knew we would have seen his crappy work. The fact he used a stencil and these were simple tattoos and he still managed to mess it up says alot. Roger is a big fat RED flag. I went back after a couple hours as I started to see the issues on the tattoos. He supposedly tried to fix it but it was still crap. And then I wanted my money back and he said that only the owner can give a refund even though Roger was the one who took our CASH.He said I would have to talk to the owner, Emerson. Yet the owner wasnt there, conveniently. Well that night we flew back home. But I messaged Emerson on here, never got a reply. And then on Instagram, if that even was the owner, and we went back and forth and ofcourse he said let it heal and then get back with me. Which I did. Same thing he said to my friend when she messaged him. Roger is an artist for sure a Tattoo CON Artist. DON'T BOOK WITH HIM AND DEF DON'T BELIEVE HIM! The only job he should have at a tattoo place is as a front desk receptionist or outside twirling around a sign for people to get tattoos with way better artists. They should have just done the right thing.

Hands down 5 star review! Friendly, clean, professional, approachable, caring, comfortable, excellent in every way! Here is why they get & live up to the 5 star rating: I went to Miami for a convention Labor Day weekend. I researched the local shops & artists to see where to add to my art. I had a piece on one arm from the best in San Diego and wanted a gem on the other arm to show from the other coast. So . . . after discovering this place was super close to where I would be for the weekend & that they were the only 5 star shop not a journey away I kept up the research. The shop's website did a great job presenting the artists and their strengths. The portfolios for each really presented them well. I called made an appointment for Saturday afternoon and started the creative dialog to work out my art so the artist would have the maximum time to make it lovely! (yeah I really like getting ink) Well my ideas of course went down a couple different paths. The original idea took on a life of its own. At one point we were considering a change in artists to get the right one on the needle. Well after giving it more thought I stuck with my first choice in artist and I am so very happy I did! We ended up creating a Star Gazer Lilly with two Honey Bees on my upper arm. The color work is amazing. The white highlights make the colors pop right off my arm! She worked in the extensive scarring on my arm making the tattoo richer because of the use of color and depth. The vibe of the place is comfortable, like napping at home comfy. Yeah! I approached the place as an informed client. I feel like I left as family. Call them - Email the ideas for your work - Enjoy the best service in the industry. Included in the quote was an aftercare package and a tank top! Score! The aftercare package included an attractive postcard with the step by step instructions on proper care of the new tat with the latest and greatest progress of the art, a bar of glycerin soap, 2 packets of the lotion to apply from the 3rd day on. If I ever get to visit I will definitely drop in to see the family there. I will day dream about getting more art always. Best tattoo shop in Miami! I could' have chosen a better place for my first tattoo! I came in with my best friend while we were in Miami for vacation, and we decided to get matching tattoos. We heard about the place from a waitress at a restaurant we visited earlier in the week since she had gotten some of her tattoos done there as well. Of course we came to Yelp first and saw that basically everyone else who had been here felt the same way she did-- so we hopped in an Uber and came on down! We were greeted by Gabby when we walked in, and her energy was great! She was super helpful and was able to answer all of our questions. We showed her a picture of the small anchor we wanted, then she went to show the artist (Mike). He came up and told us it'll cost $80 (which wasn't bad at all). We filled out the paperwork and made our payment (they take cash, card, and Zelle-- and they have an ATM in the shop too). My best friend decided to get her nipples pierced while we were waiting to make the payment, so once that got set up, we met Loco (the Piercer/other Tattoo artist) who was also super friendly and had great energy and he talked her through everything. He made us both super comfortable and he was funny. Plus he knows his stuff, and it showed in how he did the piercing with ease! He also changed out my nipple rings that I purchased in the shop for me too! Finally, we moved on to the actual tattoo part where Mike (the tattoo artist) had his time to shine. He was super nice and answered all of my questions (since it was my first tattoo lol). The tattoo took all of 10 minutes since it was pretty small, but he talked with me and my friend through the whole thing which helped it go by faster. He was very personable and it was dope to see all of his artwork displayed in the shop-- it definitely showcased his talent. All in all, if you're looking for a dope place for piercings/tattoos with even better people, definitely add Dharma Tattoos to your list. Their picture hanging up over the door that says "Enter as strangers, leave as friends" is definitely accurate. I feel like I've known them for some time already lol. Had a really great experience at Dharma Tattoo. My wife and I have been planning on getting matching tattoos for the longest and finally decided to go ahead and do it. It just so happened that it was my wife's bday weekend and we were driving back from an awesome weekend in The Keys and decided to take advantage of the 4 hours we had before our flight to drop in somewhere and finally get some ink. From the moment we entered the tattoo shop, there was this really "chill/loungey"feel to the place. On top of that we were greeted by Loco, the owner, who really made us feel welcome and was extremely attentive to our needs....so much that he was able to squeeze us in before and appt he had just to personally take care of us knowing we had a flight to catch very soon. You always get a sense for a great artist not only by his talents but also by his personality and people skills...Even though our tattoos were quick and easy ( Infinity Symbol with our initials "P&M") Loco took the time to get to know us and share funny stories about his own life and awesome family. Our tattoos are healing nicely and once fully healed we will post our pics. Wow, what a wonderful experience. Everyone from Jenny at the front counter to G-Glitter my piercer, was super nice and so helpful. They were honest about the pain and experience and tried their best to make me feel as comfortable as possible. I called and wonderful young lady answered, Jenny, and she was very polite and told me that walk-ins were welcomed and explained pricing options. Once I arrived, I was created by Jenny once again, I filled out the necessary documents and met my piercer. The atmosphere was typical to a tattoo and piercing parlor, they had coffee, tea, and water for my husband and my cousins bf who were also accompanying us. G took us into her area, and proceeded to complete the piercing, a septum piercing. She was gentle and very funny while we talked, waiting for the numbing cream to take affect. The total pricing was $40 for the piercing and $10 for the numbing cream, with a total of $50. I thought the pricing was well worth it. I 100% recommend them, they are very knowledgeable and supportive throughout the whole process. I am in love with my piercing! the only reason I don't post a picture is because I have the jewelry twisted inside so that it is not out while it is healing, personal preference of mine. I was referred here by three close friends of mine- two who got their industrial piercings here and another who got her 2nd holes done (needle- not gun). They both left the place raving- absolutely wonderful service with down to earth people. I came here to get my septum pierced- this is by far not my first piercing as I've had gauged ears, my 1st, 2nd and 3rd holes, tongue frenulum and dermals but i was freaking out like a big baby (this is typical of me)! Loco had a hilarious sense of humor and tried to make me feel comfortable as well as the really funny front desk guy. The piercing was effortless on his part and painless on my end. Minimal bleeding (about 3 qtips worth) and I didn't even tear. Got a free soda (because Loco thought I looked a little pale although I felt fine- way to look out for your clients bro!) and a tshirt!...Will most definitely be coming back! I waited about 5-10 minutes which went by quickly filling out the form and talking to the aforementioned funny front desk guy, and the piercing itself took about 10-15 minutes between set up and me getting up off the chair (had to stay seated a few minutes and drink my soda). I have been here twice so far for their piercing services and the service is excellent. The first time I went to have a tragus put back in that had fallen out. The piercer was knowledgeable, gentle, and tightened the jewelry for me so that it would not fall out again. The receptionist for very friendly and helpful in regards to the policies of the place and helping me to pick out several jewelry that I was interested in. The second time I went here was to fix a nose piercing that has fell out (the jewelry and piercing were from other locations out of state). The piercer remembered me and was very helpful in attempting to taper the piercing. Unfortunately my nose ring had closed and despite the piercing trying very hard he was not able to get it. However he offered very useful advice that showed he cared about me as a customer. Instead of suggesting that I get it repierced that same day which would have benefited him financially, he was very ethical and moral and suggested that I come back in a month. He even declined the fee since he was not successful in tapering but I still left him a tip for his work since he spent a good amount of time helping me out. This is by far, the best tattoo shop I've ever been to! I've gotten a couple here and Loco even fixed a bad one I had done at another shop. My boyfriend had been wanting a Wall-e and Eve tattoo for as long as I can remember, so of course I recommended Dharma! As soon as you walk in you're greeted by Jenny who is honestly so friendly and welcoming. The whole vibe of the studio instantly feels homey and positive. Every one working there was honestly in a great mood and it made you feel like you've been there a million times, even if it was your first! As for the tattoo itself, I can't say enough good things about it! Loco truly took his time with every detail and would give his honest opinion about what would look better. The detail is ridiculous! After looking at a few tattoo parlors to get my piercing done, I found Dharma. It was the only tattoo parlor in my area that had five stars. I read so many reviews before actually coming in. I had to be sure. I called in advance to see if I needed an appointment and to ask about the piercing process. I spoke with one of the owners since the piercer was not there at the time. Everyone seemed so nice over the phone and dispelled any fears that I had. I called the next day and actually spoke to G, the piercer. She happily answrred all my questions. I came in the same day to get my industrial piercing. The shop itself is small but very comforting. Everybody is so nice. The artwork around the shop is also very nice! I paid extra for the numbing gel because I'm not pain tolerant. She was great! The piercing hurt but the process wasn't too bad. G even bent the bar for me a bit so it would heal with less complications because of the way my ear is shaped. With numbing gel, the price was about $60 which includes the jewelry and the aftercare. My aftercare only lasted a week but it's no biggie to buy more. read more

Took the leap and set up a tattoo appointment with Loco after seeing my cousins receive breathtaking works done from him here at Dharma. Being my first tattoo, I was unaware on how to approach it, but Loco made it so simple and straightforward. From minute one, he makes you feel beyond comfortable. He answered every question I had (even the insanely naive ones) throughout the entire undertaking with utmost humility. I was blown away by how masterful Loco works, with speed and precision throughout the entire process. Not to mention how friendly and hilarious he was, which made it seem like barely any time passed at all. He was extremely attentive throughout the entire session, periodically checking in with me to make sure I felt fine, which I genuinely appreciated. I couldn't be happier with how my arm sleeve is coming along, and I will one hundred percent return here for all future tattoos. The shop has a really dope vibe, with gorgeous artwork and statues adorned throughout. Loco is truly a phenomenal artist, and I'm glad to have met such a wonderful human being. When you walk in, the shop is extremely clean with lots of beautiful art work on the walls. You're immediately greeted by the lovely piercer, Gee (I think that was her name, lol) and you feel calm with the atmosphere they have in there. My friend went in to get a quote on a piece that another tattoo shop botched since she previously had another piece done here. She explained exactly what she wanted to Loco and he sketched out an idea that met her expectations. He had Gee give my friend the paperwork, and set her up with an appointment two weeks from then (the tattoo was just a day old) and had her give a down payment (they accept cards, however, a fee is charged so they advise you to pay with cash). My friend went in for her tattoo recovery (lol) and was beyond happy with the outcome. Loco did an amazing job and exceeded her expectations! The staff there is very welcoming and they make sure that all their guests feel comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend Dharma. If you want QUALITY work along with a great atmosphere, then this is the tattoo shop you NEED to come to :) read more

The best environment, along with the best people. I could not have had a better experience than the one I had here. The place, along with the staff are absolutely unreal! Welcoming, understanding, genuine, and talented as hell!!! Each and every one of them! I have 5+ family members that have gotten tattooed here, and we've all had nothing but amazing experiences and memories formed at this tattoo shop. Loco and his wife have sincerely out done themselves building this wonderful business. I got my second tattoo here, by Loco, for my 21st birthday. If I could give him an award I would. I'm a huge wuss as soon as I feel any pain, with tons of yelling and cursing. And he dealt with it, as well as helped me through the pain, exceeding my expectations. As for the tattoo? I was getting tons of compliments that same night when I went out to the clubs. I can't wait to come back for more. I came in last Sunday for a Helix piercing and ended up walking out with a Rook piercing as well haha. Loco is very nice and he's not all weird like some other piercers I've been to that they dont even talk to you and are like super apathetic and only care about your money. He talks to you and makes jokes and he made me feel soo comfortable that I thought I'd just get another piercing. Ive gone to another piercer before at a different tattoo shop and I got my tragus, helix, and forward helix. All became extremely infected even with constant care. At Dharma Tattoo, they're just so clean and professional. Its been a week with my piercings and my piercings are a little sore (because its normal) but they look so much than other places I've been to. If you're looking to get pierced at a professional and clean place :) definitely come to Dharma Tattoo and ask for Loco, he is the best :D. I first went to Dharma back in October 2016, shortly after moving to Miami Springs, and let me tell you I have been to MANY TATTOO SHOPS , and this by far has got to be the best shop I have ever been too. It's very clean, very mellow, The staff is great they absolutely make you feel welcomed and comfortable even if it is your first time visiting. I first got tattooed by an artist who is no Longer there. But today I was lucky to get tattooed by G, she is also a piercing . All of the artist here at the shop are wonderful and have amazing portfolios. They are very humble, DO NOT HAVE a HUGE ego as other tattoo shops do. I like going somewhere I feel comfortable with where my tattoo artist isn't rushing or knowing they are "BadAss" and all stuck up. These Artist are extremely friendly. The Dharma family is amazing!!! When I say family I mean family because that is exactly how you feel when you walk in. I got my first tattoo here 4 years ago, I was so nervous!! I had brought in my design of what I wanted and was wondering what they would think being that it was so simple, and they all said it was PERFECT for a first tattoo. Loco was great and reassured me it was normal to feel nervous and excited, it was the perfect mix. I had Ana Mari/Lady Dharma work on me. She kept me completely at ease the entire time, it took about 1 1/2 hours and I never felt more comfortable. Most importantly she listened to what I wanted for my tattoo, after all like she said it was mine. Been here today 15 may 2014 with my friends for my first ever TATOO the place was really cool . I had a design in my mind which i explaned to them they took 15 min and came with a sample art work on a paper here came DANNY he stright away started saying that the design even though looks good on paper would not fit my hand wrist part ( complicated design of OM with 8 different person names) so i had a plan B going for AMBIGRAM which he(DANNY) did for me with ease he made me feel comfortable in every second of stay in there evryone looked very professonal in thier work and this were the fun started seeing their work and the optimistic behaviour all the three of my friends ended up with tatoo on their hands . My girlfriend and i took a vacation down to Miami South beach and i planned on getting tattooed while in the area. Looked a few local shops and decided to pick Dharma. Well i sure was glad i did! I got tattooed by Loco the owner of the shop and my tattoo came out exactly how i wanted it too. My girlfriend got a palm tree on her ankle that came out great from one of the other artist that was working there. Some of the most friendly people i met while in Miami. Huge thanks too Loco for the great tattoo and conversation. Went in as a curious customers and left a friend. I will most definitely be back on future Miami trips, i may even go just to get tattooed hah.. One of the best tattoo shops i have ever been too! The first time I walked into the shop, I was lost and wasn't even sure what type of piercing I wanted. Glitter also known as G was the first person I saw when I walked in and sure enough she was the piercer. It didn't take more than 2 minutes into our conversation to realize she was truly experienced and knowledgeable. She helped me decide what piercing to get and needless to say at this point I've gotten NINE piercings with her and I take all my friends to her when they want one. The shop is super cute, clean, and G makes the vibe really comfortable even for those who are terrified of needles. I recently relocated to Miami, and was a little concerned about finding a new tattoo artist. I shouldn't have been worried at all though, because my realtor took me straight to Dharma. The way I determine if a shop is just a tattoo shop, or if actual artists work there, is by coming in with a generic idea, and allowing the artists juices to flow. This shop is OUTSTANDING, in customer service, as well as artistic talent. I had an entire prior piece updated and added to, and I am in Love with my new piece. Loco was able to not only visualize my end result, but also determine how this piece would fit in with my overall concept.
