    Lemon chicken
    Kelly M.

This was a tough review to write due to a confluence of competing factors, both bad and good. When I first arrived at the restaurant, the staff were not very nice to me. There honestly weren't that many people in the restaurant but they were acting like it was super busy. I had booked on The Fork and it had it specified there was a menu for 28€. The staff were very dismissive and unfriendly when I tried to ask about it. A simple sorry and quick explanation that they don't control their Fork page would've been fine. Instead they were just plain not nice about it. I try to grade mostly on the quality of the food and if they hadn't changed their behavior as my meal continued I think this would've been a rare instance where I actually factored the service into my review rating, they were that mean. I thought they made up for their initial behavior by personally apologizing to me about The Fork mix up later on and when I told them I really liked the wine, the waiter poured me half a glass more. So I felt like the sincere apology and the extra wine were sufficient to make up for my earlier treatment. Anyway, on to the food. The food here was incredibly good. I ordered the lemon chicken and the lemon flavor really shown through and was the star of the show. The creamy sauce was delectable and the lemon added an incredible amount of tart kick. I loved it. My only criticism is that the fish was a little light on the chicken and heavy on the pasta; however, the flavor was so good I can't hold this against them. I also got the chocolate brownie, which was like a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. This was good, but I wouldn't say it was phenomenal. It was a chocolate cake as much as any other, nothing special. I would come back here just to eat the lemon chicken again, it was that good. I would skip the desert next time though. I definitely recommend me coming here, but be prepared for potential rude treatment. I'd show my friends this restaurant.

    Linguine with clams was 10/10!!!

This was the best meal we ate in Paris!! And we even went to a double Michelin star restaurant on this trip! Do not miss out on this place!! 10/10. And the service was amazing.

Have you heard the phrase "don't believe everything your eyes sees", well it's true. The penne pasta dish I ordered (view photo) looks good, but it was not. It could be because the chef and waiter wanted to go home since we walked in as they were preparing to close/leave for the night. This was definitely a learning experience because we did ask if it is too late to dine here and was told no. I would have preferred to have been turned away because it seems that my dish was rushed to be prepared - my dish was prepared within 5 minutes from my order time. I guess I should have known better, and after three bites, I was done. I am not going to speak about the dessert - I'm not sure if it was a pudding or a jello (it was listed on the menu as neither). Just to give you a better idea, you can pick up the same item from a local market and I'm sure you'll enjoy it more. The waiter, who was polite, walked over and asked if everything was okay. I stated that I did not enjoy the meal and we were ready for the check. He apologized and said they were preparing to leave. I picked up on that early on once I saw him and the chef seated waiting for me to finish after I received my order. It didn't take me long to at all, and it is quite disappointing that I have to leave this review. Maybe if I came earlier, more time and effort would have been made in preparing my order, but then again, why does that matter!? I decided to give this restaurant two stars instead of one because the interior of the restaurant is lovely and the waiter was pleasant.

We loved it here. Best meal we had in Paris. I had the vegetarian pasta and tiramisu. Wine was great, service was great and location was perfect!

Really good restaurant. Real Italian food, no pizzas ! The service is really good, the food is awesome (portions a bit small, if you take only a main dish it won't be enough !) Prices are not too bad considering the area. Virtually no tourists. Would love to go again !

Decent Italian in the 7th arrondissement. Good pizza's and wine, and a pretty good tarta al limone as dessert.

We were absolutely AMAZED how delicious this little cozy restaurant was and service was 10 stars . The three guys who were running the whole restaurant were so nice, welcoming, friendly, efficient and hardworking. They all had great attitude and so polite, I love Paris and the people are so kind and polite. We had primitive wine I think that's what they called it on the menu. We had margarita pizza and arugula & artichoke salad. They brought us bread which was pizza crust delicious, I'm sure they have a pizza oven & by the way kitchen was underground because they had an elevator called dumb waiter to send up the food. We shared marscapone biscotti pistachio dessert OMG. Cappuccino for my husband and I had an Americano and I LOVE IT that they heated up the cream. Details are everything and simply delicious food. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE. Thank you to the amazing host, waiter, server & most of all the amazing CHEF for the amazing food that he has made.

Unexpected surprises…read more Desperate to find a restaurant after my first choice was completely packed till closing. Found Le Perron and called ahead last minute to find a table. The staff here is really excellent and their care for their patrons is apparent. As a vegetarian it can be hard trying to find proper food besides pizza. Our server was extremely helpful and helped adjust menu items to a vegetarian diet. Removing fish or chicken or adding some sauce, he really made sure we had a positive experience. The restaurant is quite cozy and feels like home. Though it does seem a bit older, this just adds to its charm. All in all, I found the food to be really delicious, especially the tagliatelle which he did with sauce and mushrooms minus the meat. The flavor of the food was beautifully balanced. I would definitely recommend this tiny little place to my friends and would guess that the non-veg food is equally as tasty.

Just finished a long bike ride to the Eiffel Tower and worked up an appetite. Decided to go straight to the main course. They are known for Au Gratins. My son is not a cheese fan so he opted for the norvigene (smoked salmon in dill lemon and EVOO. I decided to stick with the house specialty; Landais Au Gratin (cream potatoes, duck breast and emmental cheese). The 2 German girls beside me ordered a cider with both their meals so I followed their lead. When in Paris...... Considering the temperature, I almost second-guess myself and ordered something other than their house specialty of au gratin potatoes. In the end, I was very glad I overruled that thought. Brody enjoyed his meal. He just appeared to still be hungry when it was done and a 16 year-old boy that normally has a high caloric intake, I can understand why he wanted a second meal after eating his first! The restaurant in the patio were quite crowded even though we had reservations. They still sat us within five minutes of arrival. Not that five minutes is a long time to wait, but it was still worth the wait as good as the food tasted. We both enjoyed our meals.

When we begin to pip on the shape of the pasta, how do you want to be credible on the rest of your menu? As for the Boutargue, it is cut into huge pieces. WTF ?!! The mandolin was broken? !! A maximum of 15 grams fights between pasta. I know it's expensive but the plate is sold 22 euros! Tiramisu teeny-tiny and banal. The setting is nice. The service plays "friendly", Italian and is overall nice. Addition of 54 euros for 1. The rating is not disastrous thanks to the quality of basic elements of food, despite everything.
