Grand daughter has taken class for some time now and her horse is stabled there. Horse is well cared for and grand daughter has learned and grown so much. She has not just learned how to ride but also the care of a horse. I would recommend without hesitation for many levels of riders. read more

i attended a "rodeo" to watch my niece and my & 8 year old daughter got excited to see everyone ride and squealed with excitement, not loud or obnoxiously. The owner very rudely shushed her. I took adult group lessons here for about 6 months. I have about 20 years of English experience and wanted to do something different and try out Western. The group lessons were with Branden who is very helpful. It was weird feeling new since I've been around horses my whole life. The other adults in the class for the most part were welcoming, a lot have been there for years and knew what they were doing. The facilities are nice, they keep the barn pretty clean. We went on short trail rides before class to warm up which was fun. It does get expensive though and the older woman who owns the place I believe was a bit grumpy. Overall this is a good place for riding lessons regardless of your age and experience. read more

Great lessons for western saddle! They have a covered arena so you can ride rain or shine. I took private lessons with Branden. He knows horses so he is great for beginner to advanced. I wish I got to learn that one turning trick he mentioned while sorting cattle, but I went back to Florida. When I come back, I'll find out! read more

Super friendly instructors and great for children! They have covered arena so my daughter can still ride when it is raining. The horses and are beautiful and healthy and the instruction is clear and friendly. Great place for beginners or the advanced rider. Fantastic place and experience!!! The owner runs a great business and it's obvious she takes pride in what she does and enjoys doing it and that joy, professionalism and kindness seeps out into her employees. Her team is great! Makayla and Glory made my daughters day. It was her 9th birthday and all she wanted was to go on a horseback ride. The place we had scheduled for a ride (Fine Print Farms) never showed and was a huge disappointment. My daughter was crushed. It was a Sunday evening and I prayed and took a chance and drove straight to Diamond C stables. The facilities are gorgeous and impressive as you drive in. We parked and were approached by Makayla who asked if she could help. I told her I wasn't sure as we did not have reservations and it's late on Sunday. I told her our story and a few minutes later she came back and said she had someone (Glory) who said she would stay and take us out! My daughter was beaming with happiness and surprise at the generously and kindness. We had a great trail ride with beautiful horses and felt safe and surrounded my a sense of joy there. It was awesome. In fact it was such a great experience that we are looking into lessons for both of my kids. Wonderfully run business with people that care!! read more

Diamond C is a good place for lessons, but not so much with boarding. We brought our mare to Diamond C in June 2021 and left in December 2021. In this time, our mare was not properly fed, got ulcers, and lost around 150-200 pounds. We had a vet come check her and we were told she had ulcers and that she was very underweight and that we needed to supplement her with 8-9 lbs of grain a day until she got back to her normal weight. We spoke to Debby to get the plan started. She did not want us talking to her stable hand so I wasn't sure how much she was actually getting every day but our horse did SLOWLY start to gain weight, but then plateaued around the 4th month. I had the vet come back out and he told us that she was maybe half to a third of the way there. At that point, on several occasions, we tried to work with Debbie asking her if we could bring in our own hay to supplement her while she was in her stall from afternoon till morning and she told me that was not allowed. Also on several occasions (in the 5 months that we were working on her weight gain), I noticed that on her feeding chart for her stable hand, the amount of grain was reduced. When we asked her why she lowered it, she simply stated that our horse eats more than any horse in the barn and that she didn't need that much. I reminded her that the vet recommended how much grain she needed to put on the weight she had lost. When talking with several people regarding our horse's weight loss, even an employee who works there, I was told that many horses had left due to the same issue over the years and that Debby would NOT work with us on giving our horse more food. So now the picture was clear to move our horse. While calling around different barns in the area, I heard even more of the same stories. It is very unfortunate how it all went down. Diamond C is a beautiful place and has many really nice people. I am not sure if Debby realizes the situation as it is or if she is even doing anything wrong. But after many people leaving for the same reason, you think a light would come on. Currently, we are in a new stable where our horse gained all of her weight back and then some! There is ALWAYS something for the horses to eat- that's the way it should be! All that said, my daughter took lessons with Branden at Diamond C and he was great. That was the silver lining of being there for the 7 months! I do not like to talk badly of businesses because we are all trying to make it these days in this crazy world... but I really felt the need to speak of our experience and wish someone had warned us before we decided to board there. Our horse is part of our family and we love her very much. It is our job to protect her and give her the best home to live in. Things were just not right. read more

Diamond C Stables simply can't be beat! They make horse riding safe and instill the very best foundations in students and horses. Adult & children. I know.... I've witnessed some other "would be" operations and they just don't get it. I see kids running around barefoot in arenas with horses! TOTALLY unsafe....but they're emulating the instructors/owners who are nowhere near as safety conscious as Diamond C Stables. I've heard the kiddos tell their non-horsey parents "but my instructor says it doesn't matter if I wear a helmet or not." NOT SO at Diamond C. Your child's safety is a top priority at Diamond C. No flip flops in the barn...around horses. NOT SAFE! LET ME TELL YOU it does matter and I personally know of two young girls with life altering experiences from NOT wearing a helmet. Horses are great fun and it's every kids dream. Diamond C is a generations successful PROFESSIONAL operation. It's a great time and way for a child to learn respect and safety at the same time. Wonderful fun for adults as well. Additionally, when I've attended barrel races I can pick out a Diamond C student quickly. Their runs are truly beautiful to watch and the turns done with "precision". No need for a Diamond C t-shirt to identify those barrel racers. They have Diamond C foundation written all over them!!!! A true asset for the horse industry. Thank you Diamond C! YOU are the way it should be. read more
