The horses were very tame, gentle, and accommodating to the riders comfortability and experience. Both gentlemen directing the trail ride added to the experience with their down to earth and personable approach throughout, establishing a welcoming environment for each and every person attending. I cant say enough about this hidden gem, its something everyone should experience themselves to get the full aura of

Or at least to stop somewhere and get a photo either with us on horse back or holding the horse. 2) Also there are some beautiful areas as you climb the top of the hill. Lots of things to look at, deer trails and the view is beautiful. This would have been nice to have the small group (like we did at the fallen tree) gather at the top to get a few photos. 3) And speaking of vistas one side of the hill over looked an area with homes, some very beautiful homes, however I think, I don't know this for sure, but if we could have gone to the other side of the mountain if just a bit, I'm sure there would have been a beautiful untouched vista. Now I did enjoy the story by the tree but a few (just two maybe) more stops like that to tell about the work being done, the wild life, something and (with his accent and ability to tell a story) it would have been nice to have him gather the group (if more than two) and tell them a story of something historic or just a even a fable regarding that area. Now I can go on forever, but I would have thought a small outpost where riders could unmount and get a drink, feel like they were on a real trail ride. Would have been really cool. But that's not his fault, that's just wishful thinking on my part.

We were striking out everywhere we called either due to the heavy rains leading up to our arrival or just lack of availability. I found Gypsy Farms on Yelp, read the one outstanding review and took a chance. Sara emailed me back the same day and despite the short notice, she fit us in our last night in San Antonio and was extremely responsive in our email exchange. And what an awesome experience for our son! She spent a full hour one-on-one with him - teaching him how to brush, bridle and saddle the horse; then getting him into the ring to ride for a solid 25 minutes learning how to control the horse's movements. She even got him comfortable enough to go off the lead and control the horse on his own and to walk the horse through the obstacle course. All in all, we were absolutely thrilled! Sara was not only extremely professional, but super friendly and interested in helping our son enjoy his first real horse riding experience. Plus, it's clear that her horses are well loved and cared for. And she's even rescued 12 horses since living in Texas the last 4 years. Needless to say, he's hooked now! Thanks again, Sara!!

She was unbelievably knowledgeable, engaging, and truly made the entire tour special for our whole family. Sophia was especially wonderful with our kids and made them feel included and excited throughout the tour. At one point our youngest got scared, and Sophia immediately stepped in with so much kindness and patience that she had her smiling and feeling safe again within minutes. As parents, that meant so much to us. You can tell Sophia genuinely cares about what she does and about the people on her tours. She made the caverns come alive with fascinating information while also making the experience fun, relaxed, and memorable for everyone. We all had the absolute best time and honestly can't say enough great things about her. Thank you, Sophia, for making our visit such a special family memory!

Our tour guide, Michael, was super friendly, ensured our safety, made sure our girls had a good time (along with everyone else), and kept our tour engaged with hilarious humor! Price was good, staff was friendly, service was great, tour was as a good hike (should've worn shorts), and we had a wonderful time. Bring the family! You'll have a wonderful time. Tips: 1. Wear shorts and be ready to walk up and down, so wear those tennis shoes with decent grips. Gets a bit wet at times. 2. Don't follow Google maps that may lead you to their service road. Keep driving up the road and look out for their obvious signs towards their parking lot.
