We asked the cashier if we could get a refund and explained the situation and they would not do ANYTHING for us, didn't give a crap nothing fit!! ALL SALES ARE FINAL he says so we look for a sign that says that and bam a tiny little sticky note at the corner of the counter was there no refund policy! Now mind you we have spent 1000.00 over the years from them!! NEVER AGAIN! He found a sweatshirt hidden in the back of the rack finally, not his taste, still a little too big, but will work! it cost 5.00 less also... no gift card with 5.00 credit.. just a see ya later! would not recommend shopping here, completely in aawwweee of the lack of consideration to a loyal local customer unbeknownst to them!! By the way the customer was a 15 year old boy!! They can keep there overpriced merchandise, i'll be taking my business elsewhere! I would rate a 0 but that is not an option!!

We had been browsing for about…read more30 minutes, and my friend had even used the fitting room, when an employee approached us and informed us that the store has a "no bag policy." This was never mentioned when we entered, and I have honestly never encountered a policy like that before. We were asked to hand over our purses, which were then taken to the front of the store while we continued shopping. When it came time to check out, the cashier asked whether I was paying with credit or debit. After I said credit, I was told I had to show my ID in order to use my credit card. Between having my purse taken and then being asked for identification just to complete my purchase, I felt like I was being treated with suspicion the entire time. It was an incredibly uncomfortable shopping experience. Afterward, I spoke with several people who have shopped at this store multiple times, and they told me they have never been told about or experienced a "no bag policy." If this policy does exist, it should be clearly communicated to every customer upon entering, not enforced after they've already been shopping for half an hour. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I don't plan on returning.

They helped me adjust the draw length, etc for my daughter and then showed me how to do it. Also, sportsman's or other stores didn't even have the junior arrows I needed anyway and when I went the screaming Eagle Archery they told me exactly what I need. As an added plus the inside range is a perfect activity for getting out on the winter. I've also heard great things about their classes and I hope we can try them out soon...

After a poor visit to another bow shop in Anchorage I came to Screaming Eagle at the recommendation…read moreof a friend. I showed up and the employee immediately started helping correct some of the deficiencies the other bow shop made on my equipment. Bottom line, I am new to archery and Screaming Eagle actually took the time to coach me through my stance, draw and where the bow should sit in my hands. We were able to adjust the draw length accordingly then make some minor tweaks to my stance and correct some of the issues. The employee showed genuine care and concern in assisting me, knowing that I'd never enjoy archery if I kept hitting my forearm on release. My impression is that the employees at Screaming Eagle not only care about the customer, but the sport as a whole - knowing that they'd rather have another avid archer than to have one with the tools and equipment, but with no desire to shoot. Screaming Eagle has my business from this point forward!

My guide, Jerrid, knew exactly which lake would be the most fruitful based on where we were staying in Talkeetna - making it super convenient to get to. Would also be an easy trip if you're in Anchorage. AND we caught half a dozen gorgeous arctic char, even one within the first 5 minutes! Of the three weeks I spent in Alaska, Deadstick ice fishing was hands down the highlight of my trip. Jerrid was an expert of the lakes in the area, a very patient teacher for a first time fisher, and went out of his way to ensure we were having a great time. Would do again in an instant!
