Dave was very professional and did the job correctly. At first the window came in but was missing the rubber frame. Instead of trying to makeshift the old rubber onto the new window he waited for the correct detailed window and did a he job right the first time. At no fault of his own with the incorrect window the first time Dave handled the mishap with class and accountability. I need to amend my previous review. All the issues I have with Dave happened afterwards . I paid Dave in cash and I wanted to put a claim on my insurance to recoup some of the money I spent. My agent told me the receipt Dave provided was not good . Paid in full needed to be written on the receipt and initialed by Dave. My agent did not want me to do it. I called Dave and asked him to write me a receipt with paid in full written on it and initial it. For whatever reason this was an issue with Dave. When then started texting and Dave said he was not going to do this. So if you use this vendor just know what you are getting into. CONSUMERS BEWARE!!Terrible experience! Do not use this company! My first appointment had to be rescheduled due to a glass supplier issue. I had to take a day off from work and they never even showed. My second appointment was rescheduled yet again. The excuse this time was the windshield arrived broken. I wanted to use another company at this point, but they promised that they would be there the next day with new glass. Well that was true but they arrived over an hour late. Once Dave and the blonde girl that he had with him arrived, they rushed through the job and they wound up spilling black adhesive on my tan seats which didnt come out! Total disaster clown show! The blonde girl/helper looked strung out on drugs and so did Dave. He was sweating profusely and was talking a mile a minute. They both looked like they were high as a kite! After I paid them and they drove off I found a small baggie with white powder on the driveway where his van was parked. My hunch was correct, they dropped a bag of dope on my driveway!!!! BEWARE!! Let me just say if I could give 0 stars I would. My initial conversation with Dave seemed decent. He came and replaced my windshield a week ago everything was fine. Then out of nowhere today I went to adjust my rearview mirror and it completely fell off. I immediately called him being that he stated as well as his business card that the windshield had a lifetime warranty and its fully insured. He was beyondddddd unprofessional, disrespectful, and has no business being in business!!! I told him i was not comfortable driving my car with no mirror and got so agitated and said to me verbatim "I'm on my fucking way". Please save yourself the hassle and just go through safelite. I would not and do not recommend his services. He'll tell you whatever just to get the money. God forbid you find an issue with his work he flips and becomes extremely obnoxious. I would of given him 10 stars if it was an option . Dave answers your calls right away or gets right back to you . He came to fix my windshield hole within a day of the call. He was on time and work was done efficiently. I know it's hard to know if the cracks will go away but he's really good or we were lucky with the spot it was in because I can barley see anything in the spot . Iam so happy I called him , thank you Dave. His prices are half of all calls I made for estimates. Excellent!!! Previous hole repair by safelite was three times as and not the best work . Diamond Dave Delivers!! I needed a "hard-to-find" windshield replaced for my 2017 Mazda 6. Called numerous places that either couldn't find the right windshield, or wanted to over-charge me. I called Diamond Dave and he promised that he could not only get the proper windshield, but quoted me 25%-30% lower than others! If you need replacement fo a windshield and are happy to wit 3-4 days until he can get around to it, fine. However if you are like me and most people and having shattered glass all over your car spells emergency to you- skip this firm entirely.
