The Dentist is very attentive at informing you of what's going on while working on your teeth and by letting you know what to expect while your teeth are being worked on. I've been coming to Dr. Bahkta for 13+ years now. The best dental care I've ever had. I moved to Victorville and still commute to Lynwood for dental care. Staff is awesome. I am so grateful for this dental office, I had work done somewhere else and was having problems with my implants they were able to fit me in they're busy schedule. The staff and doctors were all so professional and nice. I also recommended it to my family, had 2 sisters also go for treatment and were also very happy, I don't understand where these bad reviews are coming from very far from the truth my sisters were given different options on payments I will definitely be having my dental work there again. Okay first off, I would like to say that my experience was very awful. The staff was very rude and they have no concern for any of their patients. However, I should blame myself instead for not reading the Yelp reviews first. For a family health practician, a dentist should always be professional. However, to see that they themselves are commenting on other reviewers defending their staff instead of THINKING of the correlation of bad reviews, I am not surprised. I suggest that anyone who is in need of a dental office, please do not take the risk for your own thoughts in cheaper prices or closer proximity for it is most absolutely NOT worth the trauma. read more

I had bad experience with other dental places but this place is truly the best Dr. Bhakta & his assistant patty make a great team. My procedure was smooth they made me feel comfortable & were super nice and explain everything in the most comfortable way. When I was getting my shot patty reassure me to just breath and not get tense honestly it made a difference because I was really nervous and I needed to hear that previously about a year ago I had a very bad experience with a dentist whom he left me in so much pain I couldn't even watch my kids for two days the pain was so surreal this dr has angel hands he didn't do anything he didn't have to he was so honest and it didn't hurt. The ladies in the front desk were also so nice and polite and friendly I love this place I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a genuine place you can trust read more

I was referred to this location. Anyone with DENTAL-CAL (Medi-cal Dental Coverage) please be aware! This location claims Medí-cal doesn't cover white fillings! This is Incorrect NO one should pay out of pocket for this service, I called medical to confirm this information and medical advised me to asked for the procedure code this location is billing for, front desk and a lady by the name of Martha denied me this information. Martha also denied she ever saying this, but I have a recording of her actually saying such thing. Then she change her story saying Dr didn't recommend white fillings for my child but if this is true then why did you give us an option of paying out of pocket for this service after she gave us results? I will be calling medical back to file a complaint as they advised me to do so and submit my recording as evidence. I know times are hard but we shouldn't take advantage of people and lie to them. read more

This practice is by far the best I've been to and will continue to be my primary dental clinic! The prices and staff are amazing. Completely affordable compared to many other clinics I tried going to when I urgently needed them. I took my sister here and they did a wonderful job on her root canal and crown. We all know that RCT can be super expensive. I was able to pay it with care credit and in payments in cash. As for myself, I went in for a painful abscess and needed an extraction. my tooth was completely weakened with a huge whole inside, 75% chance to break in the process, but the doctor extracted it in one piece and honestly didn't hurt he was so nice and patient. I'm a weenie for needles, that was the only nerve-racking part of it all. TO BE CLEAR, I'm a honest yelper, who loves to share my good and bad experiences. I 200% recommend this clinic if you want quality work and at the same time it doesn't hurt your pocket much. Thank you so much! read more

With all due respect, layman's terms has absolutely NOTHING to do with respect. By your reaction to negative feedback, it is safe to assume you are very unprofessional. Please educate your staff on thoroughly explaining WHY they are suggesting certain procedures. Your financing person (a lady whose name I did not get- she had blonde hair) was very rude and just kept repeating herself when I asked questions instead of further elaborating. In regards to the chipped tooth, it would have been nice if they explained this instead of just rushing and leaving. As you said yourself, you are the dentist, we're not. Also, for the same price we have been receiving MUCH better service at Dreamland Dental in Bellflower in case you were wondering with us paying out of pocket, no insurance. So please save your heroic stories you've been telling other negative reviewers. read more

I was first referred to this dentist about 3 years ago by a friend who had gone there because they had family who used to work there. However by the time I visited, they had a new owner and a new dentist. It's located in a plaza and kinda in the ghetto, so if you have good insurance, they treat you like your a VIP patient. Dr. Bahkta is a cool young guy that does a great job explaining procedures and has good bedside manners to put you at ease. He is very good about making sure that your experience is as comfortable, or as comfortable as a trip to the dentist can be. He is certified for orthodontics, including invisalign certifications. I've done my invisalign there as well as general teeth cleaning, and even teeth whitening. Martha the office manager is a total sweetheart and because I'm a regular in a time of recession, always sends me off with goodies like toothbrushes, toiletry bags, blankets, even a fancy oral B electric toothbrush set. I can't speak on the other dentists, but I would recommend Dr. Bahkta if you don't mind going to Lynwood. read more

The staff at this place is rude! Not friendly at all!! They dont even greet you when you arrive. I had set up an appointment for my children and asked if work can be done for my child due to her being in pain and the girl said "i dont know"! What kind of response is that!? When we went to the appointment all they did was an exam. They DID NOT get my daughter out of pain. They said they would need to schedule her w/ pedo to sedate her after i clearly told them my daughter doesnt need to be sedated she cooperates. But they insisted , and wanted to use the papoose board. Of course i refused! I will no longer be going to diamond dental. I dont recommend this office to anyone!! read more

I have been at this office for about 4 years. Over the weekend I had the worst pain from a fractured molar that happened back in April. Due to Covid I left it alone since I was not in pain and figured I could wait for post Covid (obviously, big mistake). I called the office but no answer. Finally, I decide to go in person and there was a number on the door to call. Martha answers and advises me that they are closed due to power outage but to come back at 3. I did and they were so accommodating to me. The dentist present that day said he will extract the molar. He did. Which I'm fully grateful for. He explained everything to me, suggested my treatment plan that now I am fully committed to in order to avoid future events as this. Also, I didn't have my wallet because I was just not in the right mindset to remember to carry a wallet or just forgetfulness. Regardless, Martha said to just call later with information for payment. They run a tight ship and all of my appointments have been exactly on time. My cleanings are thorough. I've gotten a couple of fillings done here and everything went smoothly. Well, I love this dentist ...I have been a customer for about 4-5 years now maybe more...the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because of my most recent visit...I went in for a few feelings that I thought was going to be a piece of cake to get through being that on ALL of my other visits ...Dr. B made me feel comfortable and I always walked away with ease...no pain and discomfort...but I must say this is the FIRST!!! I should have stuck with my gut and been patient and just waited for him...but NOOOO I went and went to the other Dr. (not sure of her name, but she is a Denist there and I will NEVER do it again)...I am in Pain now and have been trying to call them today for at least 1 hour and NO Answer...My mouth have been sore and I can not chew on my right side since Wednesday when I got my dental work done...I rarely would give a review but this is very ridiculous to me being that I consider myself a patient that has been going to them quite often....I did learn my lesson though from now on STICK WITH Dr. B...... read more

I love going to this dentist office. The front staff are always friendly and helpful which makes me feel comfortable. I don't have to wait long to be seen. The office is equipped with the newest dental imaging so X-rays are done quickly. The dental assistants are also very nice and informative. And the dentists are great. My son was referred from his dentist in Murrieta. He needed 4 wisdom teeth pulled. It took a while to get an appointment as the oral surgeon was there only so often. We had to cancel once but we're able to get another appointment. I brought him at 9:30, was seen at 9:50. Surgery took about an hour. Staff was very friendly and seemed efficient. Since my son was sedated they brought him out in a wheelchair to the car. I can't find any reason to give any less than five stars. read more
