We attended a birthday party here and had a wonderful time. Parking for the party was TOUGH - we ended up needing to park in the very back by a dumpster (so we didnt block a fire lane) - we alerted the staff to make sure that was okay because their large parking lot was completely full! They have multiple private rooms, which makes having an event here super easy. There seems to be only one restroom in the back area, but everything was very clean throughout the entire facility. Our kids all ran around across the gym area and they had several attendants on staff. One (I assume the lead) was incredibly thoughtful and perceptive. He knew one of the kids had a medical issue and made sure to check in with the mother of that child, ensure he knew whom she was, asked if there were any triggers, what to look for if something was beginning to occur, etc. That in and of itself won me over 100% - that person obviously takes a lot of pride in their work and the safety and fun of those in attendance. We did pizza and cupcakes in the room - it was a bit tight but we were a very large group (over 20+ kids plus parents). My only, teeny tiny comment is that, after a neighboring party ended, they used a very harsh chemical (pine sol?) to completely clean and disinfect. I LOVE that they are diligent and thorough about cleaning, but wish they had a fan or air purifier running while they operated cleaning because several of the parents any myself had to move away and cover our noses due to a burning feeling by just being around the corner from this. read more

Excellent massive gym facility-the real deal. Both for weekly classes for toddlers and older kids, as well as for birthday parties. Some months the staff are younger kids (seasonal jobs), but overall the staff is very good and the place is organized and so well kept. There are a few large rooms for parties facing the floor, each with a full size refrigerator and freezer, and you can decorate and bring food etc all you want. In addition to the standard use of the facility and assigned staff, you can also include the massive blow up slide and bounce house for the kids, as well as the rock climbing activity for ages 6+ including adults. They also take the kids to the monkey swing, do a huge parachute with all guests for the birthday child, etc. We just had our daughters 4th birthday there as it was her first with actual friends from preschool, and we got everything so that both kids, parents, and teenage relatives could enjoy. Parking is plenty - there is always a ton. We come weekly for classes here and there is never an issue. The only thing I wish I knew was that I could have extended use of the room by 30 min or an hour so that I didn't feel rushed setting up, giving the toddlers 50 min on the floor, wash hands and bathroom and then time for kids and adults to eat without rushing and do cake etc. I should've done 4:30-7 instead of 5pm-6:30/6:45. But no one kicked us out and it was still a great time since everyone came after the kids lunch and nap times. Love it here!! read more

This is a nice facility. I will comment on both classes and parties. I brought my 4yo for basic gymnastic classes, which entails the use of the whole facility. It's basic exercise for her age group that begins with a fun warm-up routine that include stretches, jumping jacks, etc., then the kids get split up into age groups. The teachers are young (20-something) and create a great atmosphere for the kids, especially the male teachers. My kid always has a great time and is a good place for her to start the day (morning classes) or burn extra energy (in the afternoon). I wouldn't say they get a sweaty workout, but they do a lot of different exercises with the various trampolines, rope wall, and bounce slide. For parties, they have 2 large rooms on the first floor and a large open space on the second floor. The facility does not provide much; only table covering and clean-up. You provide (buy) everything else: plates, decorations, pizza/food, cake, drinks. We celebrated my 6yo birthday and ordered pizza from their suggested restaurant. Do not expect the pizza to be great. We had about 25 kids in our party and we had the whole facility to ourselves. We had 3-4 teachers on hand and my kids and their friends had a really great time! Price was about $300. They do have a rock climbing wall on the side, but I don't know much about that. read more

We went Sunday so it was a bit busy with kids but the rock climbing area was available They range from easy to difficult and our instructor was very friendly in explaining to us how to do it (we were first timers lol) All together it was a nice experience and great exercise, definitely worth the trip out from NYC Thanks! read more

A fun place for kids parties. Unfortunately in the warmer months, it smells like a disgusting sweaty locker room, filled with drenched socks. They do not offer much assistance in party setup, and only are slightly better in helping with cleanup. They are very good at reminding you that a tip is not included with the main bill. The kids get to run around and play. They all have fun, with minimal injury, and they all get to burn off some energy. read more

Okay, 1st of all before people quickly think about leaving "poor" reviews you must first understand that this is a "Gymnastics" Facility! There are teachers there to teach your child a skill, not to dress up a clown and entertain your toddler when you rent a private room! 2nd of all this is the most friendliest, spacious and CLEANEST gym in the East Coast, New Jersey. Don't stop to think for a second that it is not a GYM, do you know what a GYM entails? running, moving, SWEATING! How could you leave a bad comment based on that alone? Last, I take my child there and it was the only place where they were welcoming and helpful to toddlers, which is very difficult to handle a child as it is! This is the ULTIMATE place to have your child's birthday. My daughter just had one and she loves me even more! I had 40 kids at the party and holy cow...that is ALOT of kids! plus the parents!....let's say my heart was palpitating before arriving to this gym since it can be chaotic and all the preparation it involves. Rest easy...it's only an hour and half of fun and your child will thank you for it. Layout of this place - Inflatable bounce house and inflatable huge slide (extra $ but worth it!), swinging rope where you can land into a foam pit , cushions, and trampolines. Every child walking out of this place was ALL SMILES! I had four instructors and were stationed on the Olympic-sized gym floor. They did a parachute exercise which all kids I believe love. There's rock climbing too but that is a separate section for another party. You pay by number of instructors and they maxed out at 40 kids. Book early, like 2 months advance since the weekends get booked very quickly as my friends were saying they had to book their child's b-day party here a month later or book during mid-week. read more

Came here with a few friends. Had a really good time. We received some quick instructions and felt prepared to rock climb. We weren't checked on mostly because there was a children's party going on at the same time. One of our party was already experienced luckily but would have liked someone to come around just in case. Good walls, good equipment and lots of fun. Clean and organized. We were technically there for belay certification so I would have enjoyed some instructions on knot ties, saftey and etc. It did not ruin my experience, would have just been a perk. Overall: a bit hard to find, a bit hands-off service from a younger staff but we'll worth the price and extremely enjoyable! read more

I went to a birthday party here. They have a lot of things for the kids to play on but the employees don't seem to be monitoring the kids on playing them. For example, I saw on several occasions where parents from a birthday party were making sure that one kid was going down the slide at a time. This shouldn't be a parents job. If that parent wasn't there, it could have been a real problem. In addition, the women's bathroom smelled like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. If you want to have a party here, please realize that you have to do everything yourself in the party room. From serving the food to cleanup. They don't do anything for you, which is really unusual for a place like this. read more

Good for parties, but would not recommend for weekly classes. The staff seems more interested in chatting with the parents than actually doing hands-on activities with the toddlers. went here for a birthday party for 5-6 year olds. Very disappointed. ***First and foremost, this facility is NOT DISABLED FRIENDLY. The main "party" with food and cake etc. was held on a metal platform 3 stores in the air with long metal stairs leading up to it. NO ramps and NO elevator. My sons mother uses a walker, and had to sit in the main warehouse area and wait for an hour by herself and miss the party. If she had brought him alone and without me, she wouldn't have been able to supervise him. Was hoping that we found another nearby place to have our own sons birthday party -- but cannot (and would never) choose an establishment with no concern whatsoever for mobility impaired people. The number of stairs to that platdorm would be prohibitive not just to my wife but to 3 of my sons 4 grandparents. Don't the owners/managers think that disabled parents, and mobility impaired grandparents should have the ability to attend a birthday party here? Apparently not. There is no excuse for this. Aside from that - this isn't a "gym" - it's just a big warehouse with gym equipment in it and aesthetically resembles an ugly warehouse far more than a "gym". There appear to be no outside rooms so all desks, equipment, etc. are in a disordered mess around the perimeter of the warehouse. The "waiting" chairs for parents appeared to be car seats ripped out of a car (!). Ugly ugly ugly. And I don't know how some people are calling this clean - it was about as clean as ... Well, a "warehouse" Point being, no effort or money has been made to make this a nice atmosphere at all. Finally, the warehouse is filled with enticing gym equipment but the entire birthday party was held at the Rock climbing wall - something that few 5-6 year olds can do much higher than 5 or 6 feet in the air or so. Many bored kids longingly looked at the rest of the gym thinking they'd go there next - only to be disappointed. As a last negative note - the employee working the kids rock climbing managed to bump my sons head on the hard rock wall coming down from only 5 feet in the air (!) Not cool, diamond gym. read more

I like this gym. Both my 2 and 4 yo takes lessons. My 2 yo especially loves going. He is in the mommy and me class, but he's so independent he follows the instructions by himself. The staff is overall pretty nice. The reason why it's only 3 stars is that calling them can be a pain. Unless you call in the morning, virtually no one picks up the phone in the afternoons. They don't return emails either. If you want to sign up for a class you have to do it over the phone or send in a paper form. There's no online booking or registration system. Even their facebook page doesn't update so you wouldn't know if they're closed due to a snow storm or anything else. Their technology is antiquated and so is the facility. They have been around for quite some time now and you can see the bathrooms and walls are in need of updates. I initially signed up because they take young kids and my children do very much enjoy the classes. read more

I have had two of my children's birthday parties here and both were absolutely FABULOUS!!! I don't have a single bad thing to say about this place!! The staff is interactive and helpful, and has a really good sense of tailoring parties based on age of the child. Every kid had a smile on their face for the entire party! The price is very cost-friendly, especially when comparing it to other gyms in the area. I would highly recommend having the pizza delivered about 15 minutes before the kids finish playing. Staff comes in at the end and takes care of all the cleanup which was great. I will definitely be signing my kids up for classes here in the future. Thanks diamond gym! read more

We had a birthday party here for 7 year olds and it went off seamlessly! The staff was around but invisible. The kids had a blast. The only downside, which I was prepared for, was the swift exit required at exactly the 90 minute mark as staff needed to clean up for the next party. Again, kids loved it! read more

My daughter celebrated her birthday party here a few weekends ago and she and all 30 of her friends had a blast! Staff was friendly and helped us with questions we had prior to the party and were awesome during it. Relatively cheap compared to other party options my wife and I had discussed and we have no regrets. My 9 year old son just attended a rock climbing birthday party at Diamond Gymnastics with his fellow football player buddies. What a disappointment. The children were split into groups to climb the wall. All of the smaller boys had no problem with the rock climbing. There were 3 boys in the group that could not climb the wall. Now it comes time to zip line. The only way to get to the zip line is to climb the wall. All of the smaller children were assisted and pulled up to the zip line. The 3 larger 9 year olds were not assisted and could not zip line. Sooo The mother paid for these boys to climb and zip line which never happened. The boys were disappointed and humiliated in front of there piers and the staff had no alternative way to get the boys up to the zip line. There should be a rope ladder attached to the wall, that way at the end the children that could not rock climb could at least zip line. So if you want to have a rock climbing party at this place, please spare the bigger children the embarrassment and only invite skinny children.. And as the lady above said it does SMELL like wet socks which is disgusting and apparently the mats are not cleaned daily! read more

I recently had a birthday party here for my 5 year old - a mix of 20+ kids ranging from 1.5 to 5 and all had a wonderful time! We added the slide and bouncy house to our party, though the kids had lots of fun with all of the activities that the three instructors set up. There was enough supervision for the kids, just to address another review. What's amazing is that the instructors learn the kids names quickly and are able to draw them in and get them to participate if they are shy. Mr. Tyler was one of our instructors and he is a natural with the kids, definitely worth requesting him! The party rooms are large, and you are able to bring in all of your own food. The only thing which would be nice is if there was help in putting some of the food out and getting seconds for the kids - Next time I would have put the pizza on the plates before all the kids ran in, because they are starving after an hour of play! The staff does help with clean up. Overall a nice option for kids parties. read more
