Ive been going to diamond nail for over 12 years and love the owner and his wife but I will not be back. I'm not sure if the owner is aware of how many clients he's losing from the rude and disrespectful nail tech he has But it's really unfortunate. Hes the older guy that just wants to complain and talk about politics when people just want to relax. He never stops talking and sits behind the register. He has a brother that works at Qnails. He's so rude. The last time I went to get a full set and pedicure I was almost 9 months pregnant. I ask for his hand so I could get out of the chair because I had been sitting to long and he said no and laughed at me. Then a gentleman next to me helped me and then ask if he could have a female do his feet since he was getting a pedicure. He was then told to go somewhere else By him. I have only had the ladies do my nails before and I've never had a problem. Last night's pedi and gel mani was so rushed, I did not like it. It was sloppy and had excess gel around my nails. No manicure, not even some lotion on my hands. If I go back, I'll only ask for the ladies. read more

I paid 80$ for pedi &mani the pedi was fine didn't even get a mani she just filed and painted I guess if your not a regular they treat you like your annoying them . This place is FAR from me but was recommended by a former co-worker. I had my nails done there and they were fantastic. In the last few years, I've been about 5 more times and just like today my nails are great. I wish they were closer so I could always go there. Came here on Saturday without an appointment and they fit me right in. Very friendly staff and lots of colors to choose from. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I had some polish on my toes after my pedi. Everything else was great. $35 for a deluxe pedi is pretty good for Knoxville. Other places I've gone charge $40 and up for any pedi with a mask or scrub. Bottom line: I'll be back. It was my first time here so maybe getting polish on the side of my toes was just a one time thing. read more

I had a 6:00 pm appointment but they didn't bring to service me until 6:34pm. I understand things happen so I was chill about it until 2 minutes later this woman starts yelling about how she had a 6:30 appointment with the guy that was working on me and even tries to blame me for her inconvenience and then she grabs her crew, 2 other ladies, and they all storm out. One of the technicians runs outside to bring them back but the kicker was that my technician, who I waited patiently for 36 minutes tells me that I had to move she he could work on the lady that was throwing a tantrum! I try to reason with him that she should wait just like did and that is unfair to not only make me move but also to condone such behavior from a woman who was clearly 20 years my senior but both technicians were adamant about me changing tables right in my middle of being serviced. I asked them both if I would have been seen sooner if I would have started yelling and screaming and involving other patrons and neither one of them corrected me. How were the nails? Rushed. I got a fill-in and repair and was there for almost 2 hours so one would think that my nails were perfect but they were uneven and the acrylic was thick by my cuticles. read more

The guy doing my pedicure complained the whole time about the price of his trash pick up. Then he put a scalding hot towel on my foot. I had my nails done at the same time which was not very relaxing and she got 8 of my 10 fingers with the drill. Oh and the guy even spent a good part of the time on the phone with the trash service. Worst customer service ever. The man there is so rude. I came in with my mother and wanted pedicure and manicure for both of us. I expressed it by saying "Full set" maybe what I said did not really express what I wanted. Anyway, he started doing my nails and he asked what shape and asking questions as if he's gonna put some acrylic nails which I didn't really want so I just said "oh sorry I don't want any fake nails" then he shook his head and said " the way you said it is so confusing, why would you say it like that. Next time you say it this way. Say I want gel on my real nails" then he started trimming my nails and he was working on one hand and I was holding my phone on the other hand and he goes " Put your phone aside, No time for phone now" and then when he's eventually done with my nails, he didn't ask me about pedicure and since he's been rude already, I didn't bother ask to do my pedicure too because by this time, I couldn't wait till I get out of that place" and to make it worse, when my mom and I went ahead to pay and I explained that we'd like to pay separate and the guy rolled his eyes on me and shook his head, so I told him " If it's much trouble we'll pay with one card, you can take my cad". And I couldn't believe how rude he was, he said " Huh, a daughter paying for her mother. The mother should pay for the daughter, I always pay for the whole family" . I was shocked and I couldn't wait till I get of there and I'm never going back again. This is unbelievable bad customer service, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have been going here for years but lately the quality of work has drastically decreasd. Thick acrylic around the edges, nails lifting within a week, etc. Also, I try and make my appointment when their not busy but I still end up waiting over a half hour or more. I came last Wednesday before New Years and my shellac was coming off the day that I got them done. He was trying to do 3 peoples nails at the same time. Fast forward to a different day. I had an appointment at 2:00, when someone has an appointment they should go before everyone else that DOESN'T have an appointment! I got shellac on my nails and he painted my skin, you can't do 10 peoples nails with 2 workers in the building! It's so poorly ran, everyone in there was complaining about how bad there nails looked!! They need to hire more people, he was jerking my legs and hands!! They do a great job when they aren't busy.
