I have been a customer at Moon Nails for the past year. During that time, I had to return several times because my nails chipped almost immediately after being done, despite the fact that I am not rough on my nails. More concerning, I developed a fungal infection on one nail, and this week I discovered fungal infections on two more nails. In over 30 years of having my nails professionally done, I have never experienced anything like this. Because of these issues, I will not be returning. My experience has raised serious concerns about sanitation and nail health. Well today is the straw that broke the camels back and my spirit. I am tired of being shuffled back and forth as they multitask with other clients. This doesn't happen to everyone but I seem to get the same nail tech most of the time and she charges me more money. It happens with or without an appointment. I am rushed to pick a color and then left sitting while she walks over to start other person. When I ask not to use the dremel tool on my nails I am told it has to be done to get the dipping powder off. It leaves nails paper thin with ridges and damaged. It would be nice to enjoy the process but I feel angry, disrespected and disappointed. I will not be going back. read more

Kim does my nails with gel and they last at least 4 weeks. She is so very kind and checks to make sure I am happy with them. I only get them done at 4 weeks because my nails have grown out. They do not chip and look as great as day one. If I want a design she does a great job on that too. I also get my pedicures here. No specific person but they all do a good job. Lasts as long as my nails or longer since they don't grow as fast. I just use regular polish on them. Debbie does my lashes and is amazing. SUPER sweet girl and I am addicted to these lashes. I had done them before at another place and it was horrible. Debbie always does an amazing job. I have been going here for about a year. Very clean and sanitary place. They always ask everyone to wash their hands as soon as they walk in the door. They never seem to have people waiting for very long. The girls at the front desk help the nail techs find colors so they can get your nails done quickly. Really happy with this place as I have been trying to find a good place for a couple of years. read more

I previously went to moon nails on Maynardville Hwy, they did a horrible job on a Gel set. I had crooked nails and they charged me $20 more than supposed to. I even showed the lady doing it and asked her to fix it several times and she kept saying that I wasn't don't yet and that she would fix it. There was 3 more times that I asked and she kept saying the same thing until she was done. I had to go to La La Nails on Kingston Pike to get them removed and re done! It looked way better and costed way less! I wouldn't wish this place on an enemy! read more

I was thoroughly disappointed here. I came in with a broken nail that was hurting and just needed to be taken off. They are about the only place open on Sundays so I was really hoping they could do this quick, simple fix. In fact, when I walked in, the front desk lady told me they could do it; it would just be a 30 minute wait. So, I said it was okay, and started to take a seat. However, one of the nail techs immediately started saying it would be much more than a 30 minute wait. She said this probably seven times and acted like she was not going to let me wait. She was quite loud and rude, making all other customers turn their heads at me like I was causing a scene. In reality, I was just trying to get my nail off. I left, completely in shock with the way I was treated as a new customer. I would NOT recommend going here. read more

My daughter treated me to a pedicure and the person that did my toes was Alex. I have never had someone be so rough with me. He rushed through the whole pedicure and didn't make it a bit relaxing. He dug his nail in my toes while he was painting my nails. When he was massaging my legs he was digging his nails in my legs to the point I was jumping and he looked at me and laughed. I love Moon Nails! They are sanitary and do a great job. I object to them being rated $$$$ and "ultra high end". Manicures are $12 and deluxe pedicures are $30. Those prices are typical, not high-end pricing. read more

Too pricey for the quality and noise. Ask for a Mani and got a nail polish change. The employees were busy chatting amongst each other or I would have ask before it was the point of no return. read more

Worst customer service ever! I got a full set acrylics, and I was very disappointed. They were soooo thick. They felt and looked like big concrete blobs. I reluctantly went back to get someone else to fix them. I got Kim, who I think is the owner. She was EXTREMELY rude and didn't listen to any of my concerns. It's like she was mad because I was complaining. She forcefully plopped my hands in acetone and started to remove them, which wasnt what needed to be done. They just needed shaped and filed down more. Finally after all that, she starts to put on tips again and they were completely crooked, she was doing it all fast, and rough and kept pulling my hand. I finally said something and she stood up and yelled at me, in a language I didn't understand. So I said I wanted to walk out, and that's what I did. Personally, I really think I need a refund, Since she took them off I didn't ask her to. They don't listen to what you want, Too busy playing receptionist when there isn't one up front, And constantly talking to each other in another language. It's rude and poor service. This is the 3rd nail salon location Kim & John have opened, and I follow them wherever they go! The salon is extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing. Customers are treated well and are therefore loyal. I would not go anywhere else! read more

If I could give no stars I would . I had been in here previously and my experience was great but this time I went I got a different lady . I got the dip powder which was $50 because I wanted my nails longer and I was fine with that until she started to do my nails and I noticed they looked awful . They were bumpy and uneven and she kept filing them down which was making them shorter and I told her I like longer nails . I get up to pay and that's when I couldn't hold back anymore so I asked the lady next to me if she would pay $50 for the nails and she said no . I proceed to tell the lady I'm not paying $50 and they look awful so she told me $45 I said no I told her I was going to have to go to another salon to get them fixed and so I hand her $10 which is all I think she deserved and I go to walk out of the place and she stands in front of my cousin who was with me blocking her from getting out of the business ( she's 6 years old ) at this point my cousin is scared and we had already been there for 3 whole hours and we had somewhere to be so I pay with my card and leave ... if my little cousin wasn't with me I would've called the cops and waited . read more
