I was completely impressed with how Rodrigo handled the estimate to fix a leak in my roof. He examined the entire roof - something the other companies didn't do - and pointed out that I had moss growing in several areas that would eventually cause leaks. I didn't know that my roof type should be power washed from time to time. He was thorough, patient and explained every phase, materials and cost. They started work right away because rain was forecasted. They use more current and efficient materials. They quickly repaired the leak and noticed water damage on the roof of the porch I had added about 20 years ago. The carpenter didn't slant the roof so water collected over time. Fortunately it was a small area and they were able to correct the slant. The work was completed in only a few days and has not leaked since. Because the leak went unnoticed for about a year, black mold developed in the master bedroom. Diamond Ridge also has a top notch team who took care of that mess. I can't say enough about the team led by Edgar. They're like a well oiled machine and know exactly what they're doing and how to be safe. Edgar explained how black mold develops, ensured me and the rest of my home was safe, how they will follow up with sanitation spray and was responsive to all of my questions and concerns. Edgar is very conscientious and thinks ahead on other things that could be done to avoid future issues or just to make the room more comfortable. Most contractors I've worked with just go in and do the job without anticipating or showing initiative. Denio, the field supervisor on both projects was really good about dealing with my anxiety around these unhealthy living conditions. He helped me remain calm by checking in from time to time or stopping by to see the work and making sure everything was to my liking. I knew I could count on him to answer questions and keep me informed. Actually, Rodrigo, Edgar and his team all kept me informed. I want to THANK Jerry Bono and the crew at Diamond Ridge Roofing all VERY MUCH for the repairs you did on our roof earlier this year! They are working out fantastic (so far) and I am deeply grateful. I had a very nasty leak that would drain down onto the inside of my fascia board on my front porch. You came and assessed that there were broken roof tiles under my solar array, and a few others up on the roof. Also, the previous repairman from Wilson Brothers had left a STACK of broken tiles ON MY ROOF!!! When I first went out there a weekend or so after your repairs and rinsed off the solar array, there was a small amount of dribble on the outside of the fascia board (possibly from over-spray of my garden hose). However, when I observed after a more recent rain, there was nothing on either side of the fascia board... all of the rain was draining off the roof correctly, perfectly. I find it amazing that other companies (Wilson Brothers, Bland, and BSW) that had been by here insisted that I needed a new roof and were trying to steer me away from concrete tiles to composite. I really appreciated your honesty and the efforts that your crew went to in order to make sure that the repair would work. It was an added plus that your pricing was fantastic! We had a leak in our roof over the Garage. I put out requests for appointments to get bids and Diamond Ridge Roofing was the first to call and schedule an appointment. The project manager (Will) showed up on time and gave a great estimate for the work we needed. He took time to explain the process and made sure things were communicated to me along the way. Jerry was very personable from the beginning and took his time to show us every sample color until we were sure on the choice we were making. Wow, I was dreading replacing our old shake roof because last time in the early '90s it was an extremely messy and a long process. Diamond Ridge roofing did a fantastic job, got it done as expected but what impressed me most was how neat and clean the whole process was from start to finish. I never had to pick up a nail or debris. The workers were all respectful and nice. Each evening , it was hard to tell our roof had been torn off, they cleaned everything, everyday. Jerry Bono came to my house to give me an estimate. First and foremost, I want to preface this review by saying that I am a returning customer. Jerry was unbelievably negative in degrading the structure of my home. I asked if my home were his home, what would he do to fix the issue? He stated that he would've NEVER bought my home.Surely there's a much more tactful way to respond when you have a returning customer. Not going to lie that stung. My wife and I bust our hump to provide a life for our family that we never had. Jerry never once got on a ladder to diagnose and said they can fix it but needed a blank check essentially. I found him unbelievably disrespectful. Diamond Ridge Roofing was my first call, now they're no longer on the call list. By the way, Ed and J Roofing came out, showed me the problem and gave me a dollar amount to fix it. It wasn't even $1000 bucks. However, Mr. Bono wanted a blank check. When trust is broken, you're left with hope and despair. You hope you don't get ripped off and realize that's exactly what is happening. Maybe he was having a bad day . Diamond Ridge did some work on my roof several years ago and I was very pleased with their work ethic, work practices, and work product. So, I hired them again to re-roof a patio cover. They had numerous good suggestions which differed from my original ideas. I had them implement all of their ideas. As the work progressed I had them re-roof and tie in the previous composite areas (around AC units) to take care of esthetics and the age of the original composite. They had mentioned the original composite were 20 year shingles and would need to be replaced at some point. They simply mentioned it - no hard sell. So, I had them also do that. The incremental price was very fair. They also showed me how to clean out the valleys on the roof so that I could save money. I chose to have them do this instead of doing it myself. It was well worth the price which again was very fair. The final patio roof looks great. I highly recommend Diamond Ridge Roofing. Their owner (Jerry) and his crew are all personable, informative, show up on time, and did what they said they would do (actually, they improved upon the original product). read more

The repairs have been completed and so I have raised my rating. They sent an independant drywall contractor and he did a very good job...and I'm a picky guy. The roofing job was first-rate and we are very happy with it so far but they missed a higher rating because of the after sale service problems we encountered and the lack of written warranties for the work (10 year) and the shingles (40 year). As they say...the devil is in the details...and we would like to have them. Still, we would highly reccomend them...just ask for more docs before beginning. read more
