The manager said they had to charge my card so that the employee would get paid but I've already prepaid! I had 3.5 credits! The manager said that the district manager would say the same thing and the regional manager would say the same thing. Let me preface that I've been here before, and have had many encounters at other establishment, but none lived up to this experience. I came with a friend after a long 12 hour shift, and had noticed that am that my left foot was very sore and the ball of my feet were tender. I was massaging my feet driving because it was so uncomfortable. So when I got off I debated between being good and working out or getting this massage to make me feel better, and boy am I glad I chose the later. For $30 you get an hour foot massage and this includes a 10-15 min head and neck massage, also heavenly. I told my masseuse the problem spot and he put a lot of pressure on it which made me wince but it also felt so good. My friend and I walked out like we were on cloud 9. This establishment is clean, has great masseuse, and for the price and location, it's hard to beat. My only con is that due to the language barrier, communicating can be hard, and sometimes the masseuse likes to talk to each other during the massage and makes it harder for the client to relax. But overall it was a great experience and I can't wait to be back.

I originally had a lady and her pressure was very weak and I think she was doing her best but she was older so not sure she could really give deep pressure. A man arrived about 15 minutes into my massage and they switched out which was great because he had much more pressure. However, did not help because the gloves they use cause a dry feeling. After the foot massage I moved on to the chair and that was HORRIBLE! He did not use gloves with the chair massage but her also did not use lotion so once again a very dry dull experience. Lastly when I went to check out the man told me the machine was down and if I could pay cash. I told him the lady did not tell me that when I checked in. He asked if I could leave them my credit card information on a piece of paper (HECK NO)! That's literally insane to ask someone that and also who is crazy enough to leave credit card information on a paper. Once I told him I was uncomfortable doing that, all of a sudden the machine magically started working. There are many other places so I don't suggest coming and I won't be back. I was really early, but I couldn't find the place. I called the spa and left a message. Then I called again. Finally, on the third call, someone answered and gave me directions. I didn't really receive a skin consultation, and the esthetician didn't mention the products she used on my skin. The facial itself was different than the many others I've experienced. There were no steam or extractions included. (It would have cost $15 extra.) I only had one blemish, but I had really hoped it would be taken care of. In all fairness, I mentioned the extractions, but I took the advice of the esthetician to forgo that option...but I'm still annoyed by my pimple. Because I had a gift certificate for more than the facial was worth, the spa added a few extra services during my time. I had received some gift certificates for…read moremanicures/pedicures via an Herbal Essences promotion, and since there wasn't a participating salon in Kennesaw, the fulfillment center booked appointments for me and my daughter at Elite Retreat for 2 pedicures. I was pleased to receive a confirmation call from the salon the morning of our appointments, and I was able to book brow waxes and upgrade the pedicures to spa pedicures easily. Each person that we met at the spa was kind and helpful. My daughter had never had her eyebrows waxed before, and her treatment was extremely gentle, and she was so happy with her purple pedicure! The nail specialist even painted little bright pink hearts on her big toes (very sweet). I found the service to be excellent, as well, and I was more than happy to pay the difference for our upgraded services and a tip. I wish I could say that I planned to frequent this spa again, but to be brutally honest, I docked them a star because their prices are so very much higher than all other service providers in this area. With my gift certificates, the final price was reasonable, but if I had paid the full price for our services, plus tip, that would have decimated my "beauty" budget for the next few months. I think this would be a wonderful place to receive a day spa certificate as a gift, but I would be hard pressed to justify the cost on any ongoing basis. But if I win the lottery, I'm all in!
