Best camp that motivated my kid to regain his love for baseball. Coach has a passion to teach his players. Highly recommend.

So when I went to check out the camp which I found by a add on Instagram, I was pulled in by it…read moresaying free 6 week challenge, thinking they were just Abington free classes or something to get you to join the gym , which I was looking to do. It turns out it's far from free and far from what I expected or anticipated. The last 6 weeks of doing the hard body challenge have been, well nothing like I expected. When I went to the first meeting seeing all the things we had to do, like checking in for every visit, leaving reviews, and oh my goodness, the meal plan they give out. I was so discouraged and overwhelmed but I though what the heck I'll do my best and at least I'll be eating better and being active. Long story short, I couldn't believe the results I got in only the first 3 weeks! I had already met the 5% body fat loss goal!! The book and their motto is FTDI, and honestly if you do, I don't know how you wouldn't be able to meet your goal and more. This challenge is not for the weak I will tell you that. Meal prepping was very important. Every night i made my meals for the next day, got up at 6 am and went to do my "homework" weight lifting before my 7 am work out class. The class are tough, but they are fun and can be modified for every and any level your at. If your not leaving their a sweaty mess, then did you even go? Lol I took their AM pill in the morning before class to help with energy and burn fat, then have my breakfast after class, two hours later my protein shake which I make with my Ice coffee , then two hours later I have my lunch followed by two hours later protein shake, and again two hours later dinner, then 2 PM pills before bed to help with sleep and burn fat. And of course lots of water in between mixed with my BCAA watermelon flavor. I will tell you, if you do not have friends and family who support and help you threw this, it will be very hard to eat healthy and constantly the whole time. But don't give up, everyday is a new day to try and do better and be stronger. I 100% recommend doing the 6 week challenge, and I look forward to continuing working out at the camp.

I didn't know what type of massage I would be getting as I don't have any specific issues but my body is sore periodically. James knew just what I needed because I had the most invigorating massage starting from my head and my shoulders down. He worked on lymph nodes and inflammation spots and the touch was perfect. My first time here and it was a very cool experience. The office and the room where my treatment took place was very relaxing and decorated appropriately in a peaceful and calm aesthetic. It was very nice meeting you James and I will be back.

Relationships, grief and even at times has helped address some unexplained physical pain. Most of my sessions have been for reiki but also highly recommend the mental clarity sessions. It takes time, like all things, but even after just one session he will leave you feeling mentally and emotionally in a much better place. James is very gifted and intuitive. This has been proven true more than once in the 5 years as a client of his. I live in Los Angeles and the drive to his Downey office is very much worth it.

A Cautionary Review for Women Considering This Gym…read more I've been a member of this gym for several years and feel a responsibility to share my personal experience The gym is owned and operated solely by a man named Cesar, who also leads every class. Over time, I began to notice recurring patterns of unprofessional behavior that made me, and others, uncomfortable. Many women who come to this gym are dealing with personal struggles--divorce, low self-esteem, emotional stress--and it became clear to me that Cesar uses these situations to build inappropriate, relationships with clients. He frequently initiates conversations that go beyond the scope of a trainer-client dynamic. On multiple occasions, I witnessed behavior that felt more like flirtation or emotional manipulation than coaching. For example, he would single women out during or after class for prolonged one-on-one conversations, sometimes messaging them privately under the pretense of offering "support." What initially seems like friendliness begins to feel like grooming over time. The environment of the gym reflects this lack of boundaries. There's frequent drama among clients, mostly stemming from personal entanglements with the owner. It creates an uncomfortable atmosphere that distracts from the purpose of being there--to focus on health and wellness. Instead of feeling encouraged or motivated, many women (myself included) began to feel anxious, judged, or pressured. There are also no staff members, no accountability structure, and no formal boundaries in place. The lack of oversight and professionalism makes it easy for things to spiral into a toxic, emotionally confusing environment. Take your business elsewhere

What stands out most is how personalized everything feels. The coaches pay attention to your individual strengths, limitations, and goals instead of taking a one size fits all approach. I have an old knee injury that flares up, and they always help modify movements so I could still safely strengthen the same muscle groups without making the pain worse. All coaches do a great job of making fitness feel approachable instead of overwhelming. I've tried other private gyms in the area before, and the environment here feels completely different. The owners, Coach Ray and Coach Anna, are wonderful to work with and have created such a positive environment for everyone there. The atmosphere is comfortable, encouraging, and never intimidating. All of the members are kind, welcoming, and supportive of one another. The workouts are challenging in the best way, the classes go by fast, and the environment makes it easy to keep showing up. I can't recommend this place enough.
