They came back and said why don't I go and give it a try so I did. For $5 you get to hit for 3 minutes. I hadn't gone to a batting cage in a very long time so I gave it a try. Well now I regret it because I got bugs in my hair and it's been itching. I don't know how to get rid of it atm. I hope my doctor is not on vacation and will be able to determine what's going on up there. They provide you a helmet and a bat. I went with the softball since the ball would probably come out slower and I'd be able to hit it. I missed it the first two times then afterwards it was home runs and singles until it was over. It would be a better experience if I had my own helmet to wear.

Although the main window was closed, we were greeted across the way by a gentleman who immediately came over to check us in. The gentleman was multitasking around the area but at the same time, very attentive to my inquiries and made sure we were taken care of. A week later, we decided to book some lessons- their website is very easy to navigate and the pricing is very reasonable. When we showed up to our first session we were setup with Coach Reuben. To my surprise, Coach Reuben is also the same gentleman than helped us the very first day we came by. Coach Reuben has been very attentive to my son's coaching and provides me feedback on what we can work on in between sessions. Coach Reuben has an unwavering passion in what he does at The Hitting Zone and it shows everytime we see him. He provides exciting lessons for my son and even gives me a few pointers I can learn too. Coach Reuben is what makes the difference when it comes to batting cages and coaching; he brings everyone to the zone- The Hitting Zone :)

My husband was standing in line waiting for the cashier when the individual who identified himself as the manager (and stated it was his business) approached from behind. Instead of saying "excuse me," he pushed his hand in front of my husband's face and physically bumped into him to move past. My husband had no idea anyone was behind him and was caught off guard by the contact. When my husband calmly said something along the lines of "relax," the situation escalated unnecessarily. The manager became loud and confrontational in front of other customers, stepped into my husband's personal space, and made statements such as, "What's up then, you ain't going to do shit," clearly attempting to provoke a physical reaction. The interaction was aggressive, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate especially from someone representing the business. Ultimately, my husband was asked to leave, despite the fact that the situation began because the MANAGER chose to handle a simple moment without basic courtesy. No customer should feel threatened or publicly antagonized for standing in line. Professionalism and basic respect go a long way, and unfortunately, we did not experience either here.

A group of us had our kids attend the baseball and softball camps they offered…read more Softball was cheaper ($60/day) and ran for 4 hours. It seemed to be more organized than Baseball camp. The coaches had the girls on a good pace with running drills. Baseball camp was 4.5 hours, cost more ($80/day) and did less. There was more down time than expected. Between snack time and lunch time, the kids were either sitting around, goofing off, or playing dodgeball. I didn't really observe much baseball exercises. When I did see some hitting exercises, the coaches never critiqued or complimented any child at bat. With pitching, the coach did give some advice, though. I'm not sure if this is how their camps usually run, but we won't be returning. Some positives about this place? It's indoors and there's a makeshift waiting area. The coaches are nice and very chill. I'm sure this place is great. I read some of the reviews. Sadly, we didn't have the same experience.

It is even great to watch baseball games, basketball, in the sports center is the swimming pool. There are plenty of squirrels roaming around are pretty healthy. When I would get there the squirrel would come up to you to see if you have some food if not then it would go on its way to looking for food. For starters, I definitely appreciate them taking the time to reach out to me to get some more info on why were disappointed the first time around. They listened to what we had to say and were receptive to the feedback. Looking back, the biggest issue we had with the tournaments had been the inconsistency with the officiating from field to field. Totally understanding that officials will miss calls, and also that no matter what call is/isn't made at least one team will get upset, but the main issue we had was different officials going by a different rule set in the same tournament. Now that I understand a bit more of their normal day-to-day rules and why there can be some confusion for the refs for some specific tournaments that may have slightly different rules, I can see where things can get mixed up. Like any league, we've had some really good refs and some pretty poor ones, but I appreciate the efforts I've seen the Goals team make to address issues as they arose. So that being said, in terms of the staff and the fields on the other hand we've had increasingly positive experiences with them which is why I wanted to come back here and update my initial review.
