I change my mind because of how pushy and fast they were trying to move, so now I'm out of thousands of dollars and they are forcing a store credit. I don't even want buy any of the trucks from this company because the one my boyfriend bought was a piece of junk. It has engine problems already and he had barely had the truck for 30 days. I purchased a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia 125 on October 14, 2025. I was told it was a road ready truck with no issues. I drove it home, and before I made it home it gave me serious issues. The antifreeze was leaking extremely bad with no external leaks showing or antifreeze on the ground. I immediately called the salesman, and told him about the situation. I then returned the truck so the mechanics could look into the problem. They said the problem was a small leak. I told them it was worse. I drove it home, and again before making it home it was leaking antifreeze. Leaving me with continuous problems. After calling the salesman again I was informed to call a lady who handles these type of claims. I called her, and informed her about the problem with the truck. She said they have 24-48 hours to make a decision on if they would accept my claim. I waited 72 hours, and after no returned phone call I reached back out to her. She didnt answer nor did she respond to my voicemail. I then took the truck to a mechanic to find out it had a cracked cylinder head. This is why it was leaking antifreeze. The repair is over $11,000 dollars. I reached out to the lady again. She said she needs another 24-48, and she still hasn't responded. Leaving me will the repair bill. Purchased a truck from this company never made it off the stall. It's still in the shop today after two months I lost my driver I lost money and I'm still trying to the truck repaired . This should've been checked right from the start. I'm a small investor carrier and I am in jeopardizing of losing not only the truck, but my credit standing as well. When my driver arrived, check engine light was on after the truck didn't want to start. They replaced the part just to get me out of the stall. We took the truck transmission slipping transmission light on. After a drive with the trailer notice you can't handle a load much less handle empty trailer. Left it at the shop replaced the clutch still the transmission light is on. No one can figure out what's going on with the truck. This is what I was sold. Buying this truck from Diamond sales has turned out to be a nightmare and a horrible decision. With all the money it's cost with repairs, and how much it's going to cost to replace the engine, I would have been better off buying a brand new truck. This dealership is not honest. Bought my truck from Diamond Truck Sales in South Carolina in April of 2022. Asked the sales rep, Todd, if the truck was in good condition(no check engine lights, passed DOT inspection), was told they only sell the best used trucks and that the truck had no check engine lights and passed DOT inspection. So I paid 5k down and flew out from California to Gaffney, SC to pick up the truck. When I arrived at the dealership to complete the purchase and pick up the truck, the DOT licensed inspector was there, the hood was open, the coolant tank was off and there was mechanical work going on. In addition to that, the drive shaft was off. And the front tires needed to be changed. The windshield also had a round chip in it about the size of a nickle. The dealership wasn't transparent at all and really kept it vague on what was being repaired. I found out from the DOT inspector that there was a coolant leak in the exhaust manifold. I was appalled by this. As I was told the truck was ready to go. My mistake was not bringing a mechanic. I believed them when they said would could fix it. So I sat around in SC for a week waiting for them to repair the truck. They finally admitted that the truck would take longer to fix and offered to fly me back home, then fly me back the following week, promising the truck would be ready when I come back. So when I came back a week later, went to pick up the truck, the check engine light was on. I informed them, they said they would look into it. But all they did was clear the code and told me they fixed it. Believing them, I took the truck and left their lot. Within 30 miles of driving it, check engine light came back on. Also truck was shaking really bad. Come to find out they put drive tires in the front instead of steer tires. When the check engine light came on I returned to the dealership and informed them that the light came back on. They had me leave the truck there and said they would fix it. Luckily I had family in SC so I didn't have to pay for a hotel. But the truck was in their shop for 2 weeks!! They weren't very honest. Just kept saying it's a bad sensor. After waiting 2 weeks, they said it was fixed. I went back to the dealership and check engine light was still on. I literally watched as their mechanic connected his computer to it and cleared the code. I told Todd the sales rep that I'm done wasting my time there, took it to a mechanic of my choice and he ended up replacing DFN Pressure Senor, which cost $160. Not sure why they wasted 2 weeks of my time and couldn't replace a simple sensor. I also had to replace the front tires to steer tires because the wrong tires were causing the truck to shake. Upon leaving the dealership, Todd asked me to leave a good review, he said since they treated me well and flew me home while truck was being repaired, if I could leave a positive review. I held off on leaving a review. I was actually not going to leave one since my experience with this dealership was not a positive one. But it went from bad to worse with this truck. I bought it at 294k miles. Currently truck has 356k miles. Since I bought the truck these are all the repairs I've had to have done and parts that had to be replaced: 3 new batteries Windshield. Belt tensioner and belt DFN Pressure Senor Turbo Main exhaust Gasket New VGT DEF Tank DEF Pump DEF Metering Unit Pressure Senor PRS temperature Sensor DPF kit particulate filter Exhaust rich valve Exhaust RCN cooler After having done all these repairs and thinking finally the truck is going to run well, I was on a load and red check engine light came on. Had to tow truck to mechanic. Engine seized up and now has to be replaced. Engine had a few cylinders that had a lot of coolant leaking and one cylinder was just completely filled with mental. read more

this is the worst trucking sales company we have ever experienced. We left reviews due to the fact that they refused to return the deposit. My husband put down on a truck. And they have been blackmailing us by telling us if we remove the review, they will return the money. Sending us pictures of the check ready to send out. These people are thieves. Read the reviews don't fire truck from them don't even look their way. We may be out $1000 but we are going to make sure and blow up social media and all the reviews that we could find against this company.. We also have filed three complaint with the Better Business Bureau. And I will continue to do this until it is resolved. Read the reviews because there are many of them that are negative. read more

I've been in the trucking industry for over 25yrs now and these people have give me the worst buying experience of my life! Just bought a 2006 reefer trailer from them. 1) it took 1 whole week to complete financing after I gave them a large down payment+credit app+REQUIRED paperwork, lost a week of pay waiting. 2) Very 1st load trailer blew 3 tires on same side, almost causing me to crash "The very next day". I'M FROM SPARTANBURG SC....NOT CA....dont have a rating.. dont really give this sorry company one star....no rating, they suck, they lie. my husband bought a truck, when test driving truck ck engine lights were on, salesman was in truck with him. salesman said he would tk care of it. the lights were on for a reason...hello diamond truck sales..(which by the way has closed up in gaffney. they take peoples money and then run/close. make sure any paperwork you sign, you have a copy of. and dont believe if you get it in writing they will fix it)....to finish story......husband went to pick truck because they said it was ready, he gets there and has to wait an hour before getting truck because it wasnt ready. he leaves, to go home, aprrox 40 miles..the ck engine lights come back on, salesman is called, he said drive it for a while, it will be ok. hubby didnt think that was a good thing to do, he called his mechanic, took truck straight to mechanics shop, driving truck to the shop, it starts shutting down, he can only drive 10 mph..gets to shop, mechanic hooks up and test whats wrg, well $8000.00 later we know what was wrg. something that diamond truck sales didnt even look at and didnt even fix.....let me tell you if you buy a truck from these people you better be darn sure everything is fixed, ck all tires to mk sure they are good, most of all have your mechanic check it out - motor, tires and anything he can!!!!!!!!! seriously.....before you sign "one" piece of paperwork.......dot all your "i's and cross all your t's or they will screw you !!!!! well they will if you think youve done that anyway............i would "not"recommend this company to anyone !!!!! never........ read more
