    Buyer Beware!!
    Suzy B.

BUYER BEWARE! I made an appointment to shop for a formal dress for a black tie wedding. It's wedding /prom season so there was a one week wait. I agreed to their $50 fee if I didn't cancel 48 hours before the appointment. About 36 hours before my appt., I called to cancel as I found a dress, (no one picks up the phone), so I left a message. Someone from Diane & Co. calls me back and tells me I can't cancel my appt. and they will charge me $50, and my $50 can be put towards buying a dress! So I show up for my appointment as scheduled, saw a very small selection of dresses in my size and left without buying anything. The recording on the voicemail message says they have over 10,000 dresses in stock. I saw 2. So much for that. I won't be back. The experience & attitude I received from this shopping experience was very unprofessional.

The receipt stating that I paid in full and that the dress is infact mine.

WORST PEOPLE, WORST PLACE, WORST EXPERIENCE. I went in to buy a gown for a family wedding. Only wanted to spend max 1,000.. of course they pushed for more. Brought me hideous gowns in my price range. Ended up spending 1,400 after being bullied into purchasing it day of. Of course they wouldn't allow for me to think about it and kept uncomfortably pushing me. Then they told me they needed to keep it and replace beads. They call me one week after and told me to come get the dress. I came 4 days later and they wouldn't allow me inside of the store to pick up my gown. They told me to wait in my car, after 45 minutes I called the store 3x and watched as they ignored my calls due to the whole place being mainly windows. I decided to dispute the charge due to the "service" I received by the way they spoke to me and for holding my dress that I had already paid in full for, hostage. I then received a call late March because I disputed the charge. The "manager" or lack of, told me that I never came to get the dress. When I explained that I did and they ignored me, she then told me I was incompetent and knew nothing. Followed by her hanging up on my face. It's actually comical how horrible these women are and how horrible this place is. Never again will I shop here or ever recommend this place. In fact, I will continue to tell my story until this place is out of business in hopes to save everyone from being bullied and feeling unsafe. It's a horrific place with even more horrific people. They pride themselves in costumer service, what an actual joke. Save your money, their dresses are horrid anyway.

Think of the crumbling Sears department store chain, take one of their vacated stores and fill it with cheap disposable clothing and you have the essence of Primark. The dated retail monstrosity of Freehold Raceway Mall has never been a personal favorite but the absolute dishevelment inside Primark makes the rest of the place feel like Rodeo Drive. Shelves... why bother... just dig through the threadbare rags on the floor. Hey, there's a really nifty polyester sport coat I can wear to my next arraignment. I saw it first clown, give it back. So, you wanna play rough... You get the picture. Just having the jacket on for two minutes compelled other shoppers to spontaneously give me money. Why bother with a tin cup. I never thought that any retailer could be worse than Sears but Primark certainly has aspirations to that fetid crown. Two polyester stars.

The store was out of .10 & $1 bags, I came here to buy close to $200 worth of socks to donate and was treated so badly that my husband and person checking out next to me gave me a look as if in shock. It was horrible! Pam the manager was mean and unprofessional for a request that has been granted in the past -- a simple garbage bag, which I offered to pay for. I'll be going elsewhere from now on to pickup donation items.

It took them legit 15 minutes to find my order...one item was finally returned but for the other "sales item" (*which I was specifically told by **Deseree, the spanish associate that she will give me "10 days to return" since I didn't have time to try on when purchasing*) was refused to be returned by the same Deseree. Deseree apparently "doesn't remember" telling me that nor recall the situation and rudely and obnoxiously went on lying and denying. You can see the ghetto in her waving head. I told her to look at the cameras on the date of purchase but she continued to lie. The weirdest part is out of anger I told them I don't want the item and they were more than happy/jolly to "keep" it. Especially Deseree who had a smirk on as she happily kept my item. End story: they kept my item but refused to give me my refund...But jokes on them because I have amex platinum and they will be made to return the money for the item they happily kept. .... Shame on you Deseree for lying and reverse accusing a paying customer of lying when they told you to look at cameras!!!(what other proof than cameras do you need?) shame on you for keeping the same item that you refused to do a refund for!!! Deseree you're a college dropout working in "Windsor". Perhaps get an education and you wont have to take your misery out on innocent shoppers. I understand that you're a coplete failure at life( working as a sales store at 35) and this is the only form of control in your life but things can change for even you. Step 1: just start out being a nice and honest person and the rest will follow! : )
