I had a very disappointing experience at Castle Couture. As a mother shopping for a dress for my daughter's prom at a Muslim school, I explained that the dress she tried on was too revealing for the school's standards. Rather than listening respectfully, the CEO, Maurice Payani, responded dismissively when I mentioned that the school follows guidance from an imam. I was told that my concerns didn't matter and that I didn't understand what was being said to me. The interaction felt extremely disrespectful and confrontational. Instead of trying to understand the cultural and religious context I explained, the conversation became tense and uncomfortable. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect--especially when discussing modesty standards for a religious school event. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I left feeling unheard and disrespected. Because of this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this store to families who expect respectful customer service and sensitivity to religious or cultural concerns. read more

I choose Castle Couture to pick out my wedding dress in November 2025, for my upcoming wedding in June 2026. While the initial appointment wasn't bad, I ended up going with the last dress I tried on and felt some pressure to by it because I was the last appointment of the day and they were closing soon. I had a bunch of contracts tossed at me and I made the payment for my dress. I was told my sales assistant I could contact her with any questions or concerns. Every time I did contact her- she had forgotten to get back to me or wouldn't get back to me for weeks. Fast forward to April I go to pick up my dress. The women in alterations were rude on the phone prior to my appointment and rude once I arrived. I came alone as I am having a destination elopement. I was ushered to a room with my dress in it and told nothing. I had to ask what I should do. I could not try on my dress because the size of it was so large it was falling to the floor and my entire body would be exposed. I asked for it to please be clipped so I could at least see myself in the dress. I was told "no" because she could not "ruin the dress". Finally after asking for a manager one of the seamstresses pinned up my dress so I could at least get a quick photo. Because of this I decided to not get my alterations done there. Now I have had numerous seamstresses turn me down and finally when I found one able to fix my dress for $1200, she is still not able to properly alter it as she has already taken in the waist 10 inches. I am writing this review because only after I bought my dress have I now heard from several others that this is a common practice at castle couture. They purposely order your dress in a ridiculous size. 4k later and 3 weeks before my wedding I have no dress. Thanks to castle couture. read more

Though this review is a bit out of my lane, I have been here with others getting things repaired or for new purchases on the jewelry side of the business. The straightforward fair treatment will always keep the people I know coming back. I do not have any direct experience on the clothing side, but what I have heard is that this has been the go-to place for people I know from various circles, and all the feedback I have heard is that they have been very happy. Recently went there for a prom dress for my daughter. They do give you an individual person to help but that person is 16 and not overly motivated or knowable. We asked for other sizes but she said they didn't make it that small (they do bc we tried it on at another place). The optional strap that goes with the dress is separated so she kept bringing out the wrong one, she insisted it was right and we took that one. Whatever. We needed up buying a dress ($750) and they charged an extra $5 for the garment bag!! I know the young girls love this store but it's big business atmosphere not small boutique charm. read more

I have 3 girls and have brought all 3 to this place. Each time trying to keep an open mind. And each time just not satisfied. My very last experience made me thankful it would be my last time ever in looking for a prom dress. The place itself is by far a very pretty done up shopping experience. For me, it's the people who work there. I know the extense of the fancy name & the reputation it has created for itself but the service is by far not matched to the prestigious image it portrays. I was looking at dresses with a salesperson with my daughter as we stood in between the tight spaces aisle. One of the workers walk up next to me pulling out dresses for her customer and as she takes each step begins nudging me and physically body to body pushing me over to the point where instead of simply saying two words of EXCUSE ME, she was practically inside the dresses as I was not moving. It was a very easy task to have some basic manners. I didn't say a word. As my daughter proceeded to try on dresses, I was right outside her door and when she came out I was standing next to her in front of her dressing room door to look at the fit, the dress, etc. Well next to us the young lady came out with her dress on & her salesperson was hunched/bent over to adjust the young lady's dress & while doing so, her back end was pushing into me as if I was as not there at all. This happened for a good 5 minutes. Although my daughter was adamant about the dress that she wanted from there, I had zero intentions of spending a dime there. I would have fathered driven farther & paid extra for the same dress. Not once did I ever think to have the red carpet rolled out for me here but considering how the media & the company pride themselves in the business, i would think basic simple everyday manners would work as part do the job. Two simple words of EXCUSE ME would've sealed the deal but instead i ordered the same dress at a place farther away from me. Never cared for this place and each visit confirms my dislike for it. It's an overly glorified place and it's a place of convenience. For me personally, it'so son that amount of money for a dress to be worn one day for a few hours and never worn again, some basic customer service would have been the least of my expectations. read more

Yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of being a guest at my future sister-in-law's bridal appointment at Castle Couture. It was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the celebration package made the appointment feel so special. I went shopping recently at Castle Couture to look for the "mother of the bride" gown for my wedding. I was very impressed when entering into the bridal salon with the beautiful aesthetics and also that it was so immaculate. It was set up with two gorgeous Instagram-worthy photo ops (a "Castle Couture" rose wall with a celebrity-style red carpet and also a hot neon pink "Castle Couture" Barbie inspired box that you can walk into and take a quick photo. They also have a big jewelry selection, bridal accessories and bridal gowns. We were on the first floor in the evening gown section and they have a ton of formal gowns for any event or occasion. Then, they have a separate and private area upstairs that is purely bridal for wedding gowns. I would like to mention that they offer very high-quality products with the finest materials and it is very worth it! It was so quick and easy to set up the appointment and then we were matched with the perfect consultant. Seriously, we highly recommend and give the biggest shoutout to Lindsay, who was our stylist for the day. She was so friendly when she warmly greeted us and introduced herself to us. She instantly made us feel a part of the Castle Couture family. She was so sweet, kind and patient and we loved her incredible energy! She took us into the grand entrance of the evening gown section and it was amazing that we were given time to browse around at the gowns being offered. She asked us what we are looking for ideally in the dress. She was so attentive to detail and she was literally the "Genius Bar" for dresses and gowns. I was then seated in a chair by the dressing room, while my mother was trying on the gowns. Lindsay was always following up to ask what we liked about each dress that was tried on and was very willing to get the best dress for her. She even suggested to my mother to try on a few dresses that she wouldn't have chosen, but she was so glad when she did because it always looks better on, so if you are ever curious, just ask to try it on quickly. So my mom popped out of the dressing room to present the dresses that she loved and also wanted to take a look in the mirror and she was in love with the stunning gown! Once she had chosen the dress of her dreams, then Lindsay rang the bell. It was such a beautiful moment that was so exciting for her and also for me to perfectly match her to my dream wedding vision. This week my daughter purchased a prom dress from this store for $700. When my daughter got home she was notified that a classmate is getting the same dress and was told that she is unable to wear the dress she just bought. My daughter called the store less than 24 hours later and explained the story. We understand that the store has a policy of no returns or exchanges. The dress literally is still in the plastic and has the tags on it. We completely understand the store has every right to have their own policies. I am not sure how can a store do this to her. She already is dealing with this classmate and now has lost $700. Less than 24 hours later my daughter offered that she would exchange the dress and if the new dress was a lower price she would pay them the difference. It's unfortunate that the people that operate this store lacks the compassion in an extremely difficult position for her. read more

Yes I do recommend this place for dress shopping. My daughter found her dress here & it's beautiful. Giving this place 4 stars because the selection is much smaller than expected & we felt super rushed during the appointment. Thankfully my daughter found her dress in the short time frame given but a person like me would definitely need two appointments. I understand they are busy but the vibe was not great. The experience could have been better. I'd suggest a couple seats maybe (you stand the entire time. Not a seat in site.), as well as maybe offering water. I went to castle couture 7 years ago when I was searching for a mother of the groom dress for my son's wedding. So where else would I go for the last mother of the groom dress I'll ever wear for my other son's wedding this year ? There wasn't even a question, it would be castle couture again. My experience last time was so amazing I thought how could they even top it this time? Well they did, and that's because Carole was my evening gown stylist for the day. I had an idea of what I wanted being a younger than usual mog... I wanted something youthful but elegant and different, also practical. This time I was prepared and went 6 months prior to the wedding so I had options. Carole started off by calling me the day before to check in and introduce herself and find out some info. Who I was bringing with me , when and where the wedding was and to also let me know to share some photos of what I wanted with her. When I arrived and checked in Carole took me Through the gowns and gave me an overview of designers and what was where. It can be overwhelming looking at all those dresses but she narrowed it down for me. She told me to pick out about 5 or 6 and we'd start there. Carole was extremely knowledgeable about designers, fabric and even different stitching but what made me feel comfortable was that she was so confident in what she does day to day. I tried on all the dresses and pretty much thought I had made my decision. I went back in my dressing room and there was a dress hanging up that I didn't pick but I was like oh ! It was like a little angel put it there for me. That angel was Carole. That was my dress! She said I pulled that one bc that's your dress ! I put it on and that was it for me. It fit me and accentuated me in all the right places. Perfection ! She didn't go overboard, she didn't push price, she didn't rush me and stayed within every check mark that I conveyed to her. Because of Covid I was not able to go with my best friend when she tried on wedding dress at castle couture. Her and her family had a decent experience and found a beautiful dress. Since I wasn't able to go the first time she invited me to go with her to see it for her first try on in March 2022 (a six hour one way road trip for all of us). We were so excited and I couldn't wait to see her in her dress. When my friend, her mom, and I arrived we were taken back to the dressing rooms and the attendant said your dress is right here. My friend and her mom both went over and instantly said "this isn't the dress". Initially the staff were like oh maybe you're imagining the dress wrong. Once it was made clear this was the completely wrong dress they went to investigate. Who I assume was a manager came out and was like okay we figured it out, you came on a trunk show day and it was so busy that some one punched in the wrong code. The woman was playing it off like it was not a big deal that the store ordered the wrong 10,000 dollar dress and that we were three months out from the wedding. It was a Sunday so the store wouldn't be able to get in contact with the designer until at least the next day. We the left the store without answers and upset and my friend was devastated - uncertain if she would be able to get her dress in time but certain any time she thought of her wedding she'd think of this awful experience. My friends mom called on the way home just to straighten out some facts, she talked to several employees and got several different stories - it was the designers fault, it was a workers fault, they guarantee the dress will come, they don't know if the dress could be made in time. Frankly just unprofessional. Later that week my friend was told that the dress would come in by the beginning of May- her wedding date was June 18. The beginning of May came around and she hadn't heard from the castle so she gave them a call. They said it was being delivered either that day or the next. Since time was of the essence and she had plans leading up to her wedding every weekend her only option was to drive up the next weekend directly after her wedding shower. So after celebrating with friends and family who came from all over she left them and drove 6 hours. Once she arrived at the castle they informed her the dress was not there and was held up due to custom fees. How you let someone drive 12 hours round trip knowing you don't have their dress is honestly so wild and unprofessional. My friends mom asked for the tracking information and called and paid the custom fees herself while the worker said she wasn't able to get a hold of anyone. My friend had to drive home empty handed and come back the next week to finally pick up the dress. While the dress was gorgeous and was the most stunning bride I've ever seen this experience was truly atrocious. I completely understand that mistakes happen but this just so unacceptable. I really hope this never ever happens to another bride again. Brides to be please be warned. Look at all your bridal store options before you go here. read more

My experience at Castle was nothing short of amazing. Sadly at first I said yes to the wrong dress, not realizing it until much later in the night when I couldn't sleep, couldn't stop crying, and couldn't stop thinking about how I'm going to have to wear this dress that I absolutely hated cause I read over and over no returns, no exchanges, no refunds. I knew I was stuck with it. I called Maurice who was super nice, and super understanding. He made me an appointment to come back the next day and told me to take my time and make sure I picked the one !! Finally, I found it my dress. Although much differently then I thought I would pick I then again looked at the pictures wondering if I made the wrong choice again. With the dress being 2 sizes to big I looked terrible in the pictures and was wondering what I was going to look like wedding day. A brides worst nightmare. Finally it was time to get alterations. NATALIA was nothing short of ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I would recommend her time and time again. She turned this dress into the most fitting flattering dress. It was simply draw dropping with how she fixed this great to fit me. But I'm not done yet... my dress was a little plain for my liking so I got bead work added to it. Today was my final dress fitting (my wedding is next week) GEORGE GEORGE GEORGE.... You out did yourself. He hand sewed every single bead to my dress MY WHOLE DRESS in record time. I cannot thank him enough for making this dress absolutely STUNNING!!! People in the dressing room were blown away at my dress. Natalia and George have both been absolutely amazing!! BUYING THE DRESS: --GREAT! From what I liked, and based on the inspiration picture of a wedding dress sold by a designer they do not carry, my consultant pulled a dress with thin straps- no sleeves. I only tried this dress on because she immediately pulled out a "bolero jacket" that could be altered to become sleeves to this dress. I did not put on the dress without this "jacket" acting solely as sleeves- to preserve the open back of the dress, because again, I was set on sleeves. I was told that this would not be an issue for the alterations team, as they are always working to work with bride's visions. PICKING UP MY DRESS / ALTERATIONS: --NOT GREAT When picking up my dress, I had a completely opposite experience. I tried on my dress, and once again had a very kind associate help me get it on. I pulled out the "jacket" that was going to be used as sleeves and explained to the consultant that these were purchased to be added as sleeves in lieu of what is already on the dress, as all I initially requested when dress shopping was, "no sleeves and no lace." The design technician came over and I explained exactly what was discussed with my consultant when I purchased the dress. Her immediate response was "we can't do that." Plain and simple- can't be done. While I feel for the seamstresses in this situation- they did explain why this couldn't be done, the whole reason I even thought of adding sleeves was because this was suggested by a consultant of their company. This was the reason I bought this dress. This was sold to me as a dress that could be altered with sleeves. The technician comes back with the new manager, and they explain how the old one was fired for "making promises he can't keep". The technician also explained that they saw in the notes (when going to talk to my consultant) that I was sold exactly what I stated- the jacket to be used as sleeves. My future mother in law then throws in her suggestion to try to cover the current sleeves with tulle so that they're not as misplaced. This was the only solution offered and it was by someone in my party. I'm then being told that they'll put me with the "best seamstress they have". The technician suggested that the jacket that was ordered to size should be bigger in order to accommodate what I was sold the whole time, adding sleeves. My issue here with Castle that I was sold an impossible dress according to them. Now, things have to be ordered bigger and the alteration undertaking was much more than what was initially sold. (No price point can be given on these from Castle either as "they're independent consultants"- i get policies- but my dress now needed much more than was initially sold to me- for no fault of my own....). They booked me for weeks out in October with their "best seamstress". At this point, I had made other alteration appointments and took all my my items- because I was shook. AFTERMATH: * I left Castle that Thursday and received a manger, Colleen's email (not from anyone at Castle lol. I got it from my friend whose dress arrived stained- so she previously had to deal with her.) I collected my thoughts and sent an email late Thursday night explaining what happened. THANKFULLY I had an appointment with Gina, from Zatsarina Fashion LLC. on Saturday. I brought my items to Gina who immediately told me Castle had me out on the jacket backwards (four people that worked there saw me in this jacket and no one corrected it btw), immediately offered solutions based on my description of what I wanted, and stated it was POSSIBLE. Gina also stated ordering the jacket in a bigger size would be less cost effective to me as I'd then need the sleeves taken in too. Lol... I immediately called to cancel my alterations with Castle around 6 on Saturday- you have to tell them if you plan to rebook or if you're fully cancelling. I explained i am fully cancelling. (I still haven't heard back from my email or any follow up from my experience.) I immediately receive TWO separate phone calls to try to reschedule LOL.... The first from an employee, who I then explain my reasoning. The second (was a voicemail) from the design technician from my appointment saying they talked to their best seamstress and "she's pretty confident" she can provide alterations to my dress. FOLLOW UP: * I emailed Colleen again i still wanted to discuss this. Colleen called on Wednesday. (Almost a week after this happened.) * Colleen did say she would "speak with the higher ups" and took my mother's name in case i wanted to make a mother or the bride appointment there. Amy was absolutely AMAZING!!!! She helped me find my DREAM wedding dress!! I was honestly not looking forward to going wedding dress shopping for a variety of personal reasons. Amy completely changed my perspective and because of her, I had the most wonderful experience. I went in not knowing exactly what I wanted, just a very broad idea. Amy listened throughly to my likes and dislikes and with the assistance of my favorites list I created from the Castle Couture website, she was able to pull dresses that she thought I would like. At one point, it was actually really hard to eliminate dresses because her picks were spot on while also respecting my budget. I also love that she was genuinely interested in mine and my husband's story and how we met as well as getting to know how my bridesmaids who attended the appointment met me. Some of my bridal party could not make my appointment; Amy along with her lovely intern, Riley, were more than happy to capture tons of photos and assisted with holding my phone for a FaceTime call and videos of my appointment. There is no doubt that Amy loves what she does. She is extremely enthusiastic and personable. You really can tell how much she enjoys her work. She was extremely patient for my entire appointment. Amy really hyped me up during my trials and it did not go unnoticed and was very much appreciated. I felt beautiful and confident saying yes to the dress all thanks to her. read more

Rebecca was great and made my experience of finding a dress so easy and amazing! She had a positive attitude and was able to deal with both my mother and future mother in law and their questions. Strange experience here which was quick but left a bad impression. I think the sales person's name was Rebecca but I'm not sure. Really cold and disinterested. If you're looking for a dress with a jacket - she said they had one in the store. She showed us the only one dress with jacket and it was hideous. She goes "that's it" and we left because that was apparently it. Drove all the way here. The dresses here are priced high but I didn't really love anything. Expect to pay $900+ NOT INCLUDING ALTERATIONS. They carry a range of sizes from petite to plus. read more

As someone who has spent a lot of time and money on dresses and event outfits - do not ever come to this location. The people who work at this store are so disrespectful. If I was a business owner and I knew my employees spoke to our customers the way these people have spoke to me and my family I would be LIVID. I had paid for an expensive dress and paid for expedited shipping and 4 weeks after the dress was suppose to be delivered my dress was still missing. I called and was told over and over again that a manger would be in contact. The manager some how was ~never available and helping other customers~. Instead of telling us the dress was never ordered or was going to be late they kept saying they couldn't see the order information. read more
