I had a very disappointing experience with California Transmission. I came in looking to swap Chevy Astro transmission and the high selling point with California transmission would be completed in a one day turnaround. However, unfortunately, I found myself having to call the shop multiple times for an update, and we're constantly hesitant to update me. In the end up having to wait three days to get my vehicle To make matters worse, they failed to properly reconnect my oil dipstick to the engine block, which is a basic but critical oversight. I know that mistakes are common, however, granted to the fact that Israel emphasize how professional they are 25 years of experience, I am surprised something like that went unnoticed so I went ahead and give them a call today and after the vulgar conversation, he gave me I decided that I ultimately had a write a review. I provided detailed information, but instead of a professional response or even a simple decline, the representative responded with a single period ('.'). When I called them out on this, they made a ridiculous excuse that it was a typo for "85" because of a "crazy phone." It is clear they only value high-profit jobs and treat other inquiries with blatant disrespect. If you are looking for a business that communicates professionally and takes customer concerns seriously, this is NOT the place. Jr was the one testing the car and diagnosed the issue. It was the valve body. 4 days later we recieved the car and ever since it no longer jerks. Runs smoothly and beautifully. Thanks jr and javier.
