My biggest issue is in finding one I can truly connect with the doctor and his team. Usually, I get okay care, but have issue with privacy, rough care, or assembly line care. Not with Dr. Feldkamp! Do not let the home-like exterior of Feldkamp Chiropractic fool you. When you go in, you'll find everything clean, organized and well-kept. When you speak with Dr. Feldkamp, you do it in a closed office, so you get the privacy you need. And, the best part? You don't have to wait! If your appointment is at 11:30am, then he sees you at that time and no later. Don't be confused though, the care is never rushed. I love that. I'd been without a chiropractor for over year. The last clinic I went to in north Columbus was okay, but there were always issues with waiting, privacy and rough care. That's why when my spinal issues resurfaced, I needed to find a new doctor. I tried a D.O. downtown and that guy was no good. I felt like my 3-year old kid nephews could give me better adjustments. I'd been diagnosed by this doctor as having arthritis in my neck and bilateral foraminal stenosis. He'd further stated I'd need to live with the symptoms (nerve issues in the left arm) and would have to cope with only physical therapy. I needed a second opinion and a better solution. Dr. Peter Feldkamp was my solution. I was having numbness in my left arm and pain in the left shoulder blade. After only two weeks of treatment, I feel nearly 100% and my symptoms have almost disappeared. I plan on sticking with Feldkamp Chiropractic and will strongly recommend you check them out. I had been receiving less than satisfactory treatment with physicians in Columbus (no name-dropping here) and needed someone who could meet my needs and be straight-forward with me. After meeting Dr. D'Onofrio, he took one look at my medical history and recent tests and simply asked, "When do you want to get this done?" That was it. No more cortisone shots or minor surgeries. He told me that my knee was beyond preventive treatment and needed replacement. True, one would think that a salesman's only interest is "selling the car", but after breaking down everything that was wrong with my knee, he convinced me that I was prolonging the inevitable with all of these procedures. The surgery went extremely well, as well as the follow-up with his PA, Kevin, who is truly awesome. The care I received during my recovery made my trip to wellness a short and efficient one. I loved their treatment so much that I chose them for my other knee replacement surgery 3 years later, which went just as well.
