One of the most unwelcoming restaurant experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. Staff openly bad-mouthing customers -- while they were still in the restaurant. Loud enough for everyone to hear. Unprofessional and beyond disrespectful. It's a solid 3 during normal business hours but it is a solid 4 after other places close, the food is sports bar great, service is good, cleanliness's an issue, bussing tables is an issue. Great choices of food wings are superb baby back ribs always hot and tender. BBQ sauce i thick and sweet. Corn on the cob and fries are good. Service is average. A little noisy but it is a sports bar. Nothing that sticks out in the cocktail arena. read more

Zero stars! Place is a disaster, was told we had to sit down and order to get anything to go! Two hours later our food was still not out and MGR told me they were out of stuff to make the club sandwich, 45 minutes into my wait, they said they were out of nachos, pulled pork and ribs, not much left on menu ! I kept asking for manager and she said you mean you still do not have your food ! I finally waited up by where the food comes out to complain ! We saw new people coming in and getting their food ! Then someone ordered nachos and they brought them out! What a crazy experience! Never again ! avoid this place, very poorly managed, very poorly ran and it is a colossal disaster! This is in the Silver Star Casino at Pearl River Resort. You're better off going to Golden Moon (other side of property) for a burger at Bistro 24. My friend rated the Philly Cheesesteak a 3 of 5, and we both agreed that the fries were bland. While eating, there was an Indian guy sitting alone and across from me. He was leaning back and playing with his dentures. This was not appetizing. When I asked my friend if he was observant, he immediately whipped his head to the left and stared right at Indian Denture Man. My friend's slickness score dropped from 73 to 46. read more

I had the half rib plate for dinner. It was a lot of food and could easily be shared. in addition to the ribs, you get fries, corn on the cob, baked beans, and two peices of Texas toast. I thought the ribs were above average. They were slow smoked and very tender. The meat fell off thee bone. The corn on the cob was bland, and the beans were quite pedestrian. The fries and toast were what you would expect. It wasn't a meal I would hurry back for, but it was decent. read more

Terrible service, and the wait times are even worse. The waitress spent the entire time talking with friends and bringing them free food and not serving her customers, and when she did come to, she threw the food on the table like she was being bothered!!! I got a rack of ribs for me and my wife along with some beans and corn. The ribs are above average and the bbq on them is good to. The corn is decent but them beans are nasty. Overall a great meal for me and my wife. Recommend them ribs to anyone for sure. read more

I decided to visit Stats at Pearl River Resort for brunch and here's how my experience went...To start off some of the staff up front seemed more worried about gossiping and having fun with each other than they did about tending to customers. I was asked is I was ready to order before I had even sat down I advised our server I needed a moment to look over the menu then again less than 5 minutes later before I had even gotten a chance to settle in and view the menu I was again asked if I was ready to order. The atmosphere in the restaurant is definitely lacking they are a few servers that seem to go above and beyond but not many. Right away I ordered the onion rings as an appetizer and was told that they were out of onion rings and the chicken egg rolls. Which seems odd as the menu is fairly small on one page and the restaurant had just opened when I got there. The food came out and the presentation was well put together however they brought out clarified butter for the waffles which had already gone cold and congealed. I asked the waitress could they warm it up because it was grainy and tasted like eating cold grease she stated "I mean I can warm it up but it's gonna be the same because that's all we got" I'm not sure how it is no one in there wouldn't know how clarified butter is served. Flavor wise the meal was okay the chicken was moist bout could have done with a bit more seasoning. The loaded fries were a simple dish that was well executed. The waffles were so so as two were golden fluffy with a nice caramelization on the outside from the sugar but the other two were a bit over cooked and as a result somewhat dry and hard. Then before I was even halfway done with my food the server brought the check laid it on my table with a to go cup. Things like this give customers the feeling that you are trying to rush them out as if you have more important things to do than wait on them. Um yeah, I just left this establishment without ordering anything. Just not my type of place. After awkwardly standing there waiting to be seated (because I guess they rarely have people coming in as a party of one), the hostess finally acknowledged me and takes me to a table in the darkest part of the restaurant. Of course I asked for a table with better lighting. The table top looked unpolished. The waitress came over to inquire of my drink choice. I asked her to give me two minutes to decide. When she returned, I turned the menu over to the drinks, she THEN informs me there wasn't a bartender on site. (Wait...what...looks at sign...Sports and grill BAR...AND why didn't she tell me when she initially asked for my choice of drink). "Do you have strawberry lemonade?" We have pink lemonade..."*sigh* ok, I'd like the chicken and waffles, may I have the fries substituted with a cob of corn?" No, I can add a corn and charge you. "You know what, this has gone wrong all of the way, nevermind, I am going to go somewhere else." As I said, not my type of place. Is it possible to give a negative star rating because this place deserves it and I never even got sat down!!! We have a party of five, all of us over 5'7 and the two guys are 6'5 plus!!! They tried to sit us at a table for 4 and when I ask if we could move two tables together the guy had the nerve to rolls his eyes at me and sigh... had I been rude about it I could probably understand but I used my nice voice and manners to politely ask!
