First off people weren't friendly. Ordered brisket it was not juicy and it was tough and people there just didn't seem to care. I've lived in Seminole tx for a long time and their brisket has always been good but not this time. Having cooked lots of brisket at home, I can tell you it was cooked 2 fast. Well stood at the counter for 5 mins without anyone coming up front to greet me. Had enough time to survey behind the counter. All the meat was dried out from setting on the counter. What wasn't wrapped in Saran Wrap that also looked like it had been there for awhile. Not impressed by this Dickey's. Can see why the parking lot was empty. read more

Dickey's barbecue has never been my number one choice for barbecue but we stopped at in Seminole , Texas and was very pleased. The food was great and service was very friendly. I will stop there again to eat when I am in the area. read more

It is a good as chain BBQ gets. I used them to cater a business lunch and liked it so much I went there for lunch the next day. Catering: The SW sandwich was a crowd pleaser and the sides are packaged to make it easy for people at the event to get what they want without a big mess. Lunch: I had the pork rib special and was able to pick two low carb sides. Unfortunately for me the bun was so good I ate the whole thing after taking a small bite for taste. Yum! read more

We stopped here while we were waiting for our hotel room to be ready. We are eating Keto-friendly food, so we thought we would have a good selection. I got the three meat plate: brisket, turkey and chicken with green beans. No bread. Anyway, the turkey and the chicken were very moist. The brisket was tasty, but it needed a little sauce and I couldn't eat the sauce. My husband had the sausage and it was good. The iced tea was fresh. The service was excellent. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and I appreciate that very much! read more

Yummy I love Dickey's. Only disappointment is we never get pickles, onions, jalapeños, extra sauce if requested, thru the drive thru. Sign states, meals come with. Dear ol' Seminole, I'm glad you have a BBQ joint for your constituents, even if it IS a chain restaurant. On a recent trip to Seminole, we were wondering where in this dusty ol' town we can find something decent to eat. Without much to choose from, we were glad to find this place. I had some dickeys ordered for lunch, and I honestly will not be ordering from this location anymore. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it had so much fat on it, that it wasn't even edible. I tried to make it better by drenching it in sauce but that was as cold as their CEO's heart. The only saving grace was the drink I ordered, which they somehow still managed to get wrong. I hate to say this, but hands down bad experience. Had turkey and hot links ( 2 meat plate ) ; turkey is processed ( tasted like a turkey spam ) hot links were ok. Wife had brisket and spicy cheddar sausage; sausage was terrible and brisket mediocre. Pricy too! Will never go back. Too many other good BBQ places. read more
