Dickies Arena is such a great venue! It is smaller than some of the other concert locations in the DFW area, but it still attracts the big name acts. Went to Wu Tang's final tour here last week. I bought floor seats at a higher price thinking it was worth the price...it was NOT. I should've bought seats to either side of the main stage-they are elevated and thus provide a much better view. Of course, also, being short doesn't help either, but I ended up watching the big screen nearly the entire time. Pretty disappointing, but if I ever go back, I'll be ready. read more

Visited the Dickies Arena for the first time in February to see the Harlem Globetrotters. The venue is very nice and spacious. Parking was convenient and a breeze to get into/out of. The restrooms were super clean and well maintained - they also had a few family restrooms around the venue which is always a plus. Unfortunately, we were not able to try the food as by the time halftime came, the concessions were out of many things we wanted to order - next time we'll try sooner. read more

I attended the Seventeen concert on 8/23 and really enjoyed the experience. It was my first time to Dickies and I was surprised with the organization of an event, cleanliness of the entire arena and honestly, the size of the arena. Getting into the parking lot was a breeze. Parking was $25 and there was plenty to go around. Entering the arena was simple. No long lines, no crowded waits or unattended employees. I loved that they allowed us to bring our small purses and not making us swap for the clear bags. The arena felt pretty small when I walked in. The concession stand was right there, merch close by and then your seats. I'm use to huge arenas like AT&T, so that's probably why. Lol but regardless, the seats were great! I wouldn't even mind sitting in the "nosebleeds" because the arena isn't so big where the view would be terrible. It's also not steep! My one complaint would be the side screens. They need to be much much bigger for those sitting in the back or in the upper level. I had a hard time seeing it from The corner section, can't imagine others. read more

We came for the rodeo during a stay in Dallas. Parking is easy. There is a garage you can wait in line to enter, the lot outside the front door is accessed by an entrance next to the parking garage and cost $17. Totally worth it! The coliseum is beautiful. Typically in Boston you go to indoor stadiums and they are gross cattle drive type places. This place oozes class and is aesthetically pleasing. The area is huge and even though we sat up high (section 202) we could see perfectly. Highly recommend attending an event at this location. read more

I do go to a lot of concerts and events at many different venues. This is a 3 star venue. The best it could be is a 4 and here's why: I was here for the Cheap Trick/Rod Stewart Concert. Although it had been delayed a few times over a couple of years (COVID), that did not factor into my review. Getting into the correct parking lot can be confusing as signage was poor. Google Maps information wasn't great and website maps were poor. If one drives a long way to a venue (65 miles for me) and has not been here a few times, an effort should be made with all of the information and technology of today to help the customer out. On one side outside of the arena complex were drinks available for a fee with seating (some in the arena's shadows. The other sides had mobile vendors selling out of iced totes. Why is this important? It was sunny and 102 degrees. Drinks were nice when standing in lines to get in. What's bad, is drinks purchased could not be carried into the arena. Lots of vending options inside, but not a lot of food available unless you wanted nachos or popcorn. A lot of drinks, however. There were bags of peanuts in shells available. In a small indoor arena where people are shoulder and thigh to shoulder and thigh, peanuts in shells are not a neighborly option. I did find a vendor selling hotdogs, bought one and I'm sure someone thought selling those stale buns with tiny dogs humorous. Additional, not enough places to eat food. Stand up tables were sparse. The lobby/concourse area was clean, but didn't find a lot of trash cans. Seating, this is a small arena for a concert. Texas size patrons should expect airline sized seating. This means bring your boot and shoe horns to get you in and out of seats. I really felt sorry for the lady next to me as our shoulders, thighs and bare calves were closely touching all concert and I never got her name. I probably owed her at least a dinner after all of that contact! Sound and lighting wasn't anything spectacular. The stage visuals were nothing special and that could have been the performer's teams and not the fault of the arena. The performers were great but I can't give any credit to the arena for that. These are great performers! Exiting the arena and parking lot was pretty slow for the smaller crowd. Overall, not the best venue compared to the others in the region. read more

Great, easy to get to venue. We have been here twice recently, once for Monster Trucks and also for a concert. Both times getting to and out of the arena went pretty smoothly. It is a small arena so feels more intimate than a larger stadium, like AT&T stadium, etc. I removed one star, due to very high food and drink prices, plus they don't even let you bring in a few bottles of water. For example, beer is $10 and a burger is $25, best to eat (at least) before you go in. Overall a modern and enjoyable event venue. read more

For Graduations: Real money gifts/leis are NOT allowed, due to thief in prior years. Security allowed my fake money gifts/leis, had to show proof that the bills were fake. Strollers were not allowed inside the venue, we had to walk to the back of the building to check our stroller in. Food: Overpriced. Pizza was flat as a board, don't let the big box fool you. I went to the Ivan Cornejo Mirada Tour on 09-20. I was sitting on Section Floor 1, row 27 seat 9. Apparently, there was an extra seat in our row so they made us scoot up a seat, so l ended up in seat 10. By this time the concert hadn't started yet. HOWEVER, once the concert started we had multiple workers coming up to us every 10 minutes asking to see our tickets. They were moving us back and forth, at the end we ended up in our original seats. The concert was great and l had a great time but the workers definitely ruined the vibe and i'm sure the people next to me can agree. Fix y'all's seating chart and do better. read more

We went to see Eric Church. It was our first concert since Covid started. We sat in section 204. We were amazed at house nice every single employee we came into contact with was. The place is clean and kept that way by numerous employees. We got a cookie and a corny dog and two waters. Cookie was good and hubs left nothing but a stick after eating the corny dog. I thought it was funny when one of the ushers took the blue caps from our water bottle. She was older so it felt like my mom was asking me to spit out my gum when the usher lady held out her palm for me to relinquish my blue water bottle lid. Once the concert started we were able to easily see and here Mr. Church. We sat the entire concert in very cushy chairs which were spaced very well. We enjoyed our neighbors we sat next too and just had an all around good time. The parking was high at $25 a car but the parking lot was well lit and spaces were enough that you didn't;t have to worry about any hitting your car with their door. We took the bicycle taxi to the arena and he was fast, efficient and friendly. We used the same bicycle taxi to get back to the car. Great experience, great place. It's a very nice addition to Fort Worth! read more

Have been here for multiple events. The most recent event was Pentatonix. The venue has a wide range of food and drinks that are appealing to everyone. I still haven't figured out why we can't keep the lid on a water bottle, but I'm sure there are valid reasons. They have a lot of security - both Dickies and Ft. Worth PD. This venue is SO CLEAN! My mother and I came here for our first rodeo earlier this year, and we were shocked by how nice and clean the facilities are. Our similar venues in Kentucky look very sad comparatively. We sat in an accessible area and had a great view for the rodeo, and easy access to food, restrooms, etc. Super impressed and would definitely attend any event here! read more

4-9-2023 This is a smaller size venue perfect for a more intimate experience. Very easy to get in and out of parking. $20 parking wasn't so bad compared to the larger venues. They have a parking garage and open parking lots just across the street (very close). Arena Employee was outside directing you to the correct side of the building based on you ticket section. The arena has a bag policy that included clear bags, however it didn't appear to be enforced for the Disney on Ice show. Our show was Disney on Ice Frozen/Encanto and it was so much fun, the stage (ice), and seating set up was very well done. I would definitely go back to see a concert here. It was a comfortable temperature inside not too cold. There were merchandise stands at almost every turn. Funnel cakes smelled great and reasonable at $7. 24 oz drink was about $5 and a Souvenir Drink cup was $13, that price might be a Disney thing. They do not have diet Dr Pepper. The French fries were crispy and tasty for arena food. I didn't try the chicken strips but they looked like catfish pieces. Restrooms were clean & stocked. If you live in the DFW area this is a great place to see a show read more

We attended Crystal Cirque de Soleil and paid premium for seating. In plan view the seating was perfect. The ignorance of the architects, the owner and seating salespeople created a seating arrangement that is so flat the patrons cannot see the performance area. At the break we moved to cheap seats that were not occupied to even be able to see. We missed half of the show. The seating was so bad that it shook, vibrated and swayed as people can down the steps. So disappointed that we will not attend another event here. read more

The sound was great! Chairs are so close together on the floor seating that they feel claustrophobic. The stadium-type chairs have an armrest length between each other (like an airplane) but the floor seats are pushed against each other and are only their own width apart. No cupholders on the floor seats. Not enough bathrooms for the venue and during intermission the line was impressively long to get up the stairs, around the open space, and into the bathroom. It was chaotically busy during intermission. The merch and food lines were also quite long. The bar lines were not as long as the other lines. They charge quite a bit for drinks, of course, and amazingly their tipping screen starts at $10 (one drink will cost you $12 or more). They opened the waters we bought and kept the caps so we couldn't close them again. There were several spills on the arena floor. The parking is at various distances from the front door and we decided to rideshare instead of using our paid parking ($30) so we wouldn't have to walk in the heat. We were told that it could take 30 minutes to drive a mile to our hotel so we walked after the event was over. read more

Went for a convention and I enjoyed how clean it was. The seatings were comfortable enough and let me tell you we were there AM to PM!! Loved that they also had a bathroom and a place to order some food/drinks upstairs AND downstairs. This really helped us the first day as we were closer to the bottom bathrooms versus the top. The only thing I would point out is security wasn't as consistent as I thought they would be. They were at first so strict about water bottles and food but I think it was just when they first open. When I stepped out for a bit and came back in, I came back into an unsecured entrance (they have tons of entrances). There was no security at all. That didn't make me feel so safe. I think if you're gonna be super strict in the morning, the same should be all day or what's the point really? read more

Went to Dickies Arena to go cover boxing & really like the setup. They have a parking garage next to the arena along with designated pick up and drop off zones for rideshare. The staff inside were friendly & helpful in helping me find the seating for media. Not a bad seat in the house from what I could tell. Few hotels close by & restaurants, but you may be better off staying a little bit away to have more and cheaper options for both. Would travel there again for more boxing in the future. read more

So my wife and I got tickets to see Eric Chirch on 4/2/2022 for &175 a piece. Seats were gonna be great. Unfortunately Dickies Arena wasn't prepared for the concert. Our area was suppose to be section 223 row 1 seats 15 & 16. The usher Ken looked bewildered when we showed him our seats on our phone. We get down there and it was folding chairs setup in what is normally the camera section for sports. There were only 12 chairs there and he said to pick where we wanted. There may have been room for one more seat but that's it. Now we were suppose to be on the end but someone was already there. After all the seats were pretty full Ken our usher came and said we will have to go with his supervisor to straighten out the mix up. So we go down to the box office with Julie who leaves us at the box office saying they will get you taken care of here. After about 15 minutes of another couple getting their situation fixed we tell him what is going on and he types away on his computer and then looks at me and said no I show the seats are there. So after that dialog for a couple of minutes he made it sound like I needed to go up there and tell 76 year old Ken to get more chairs. He said the usher didn't do his job. I lost my cool at that point again we spent $175 on these seats and here we are arguing with Chip about how many seats are there. He stood up and said sir do you want me to help you or not? I said well it's your job so you better. Maybe I crossed the line but damn I am tired of poor customer service. He tried to give us worse seats and we wound up being higher up and on the other side but man what has happened. The new section had a very nice lady who my wife explained what had happened to her. She kept asking me whenever I would get up how everything was. She made it so much better so thank you. The bathroom needed some attending and it finally did get it with about 30 minutes left in the concert. I want to give it 3 stars but the box office guy blew my night to be honest and us having to wait so long to get it resolved. Had we gotten upgraded like what should have happened I could have gone 3 1/2 to 4 stars. Management is to blame for this. read more

I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with Dickies Arena. I came here for the first time yesterday for the rodeo. I've been to a number of arenas in different cities and Dickies is actually pretty nice. The seats are comfortable and provide a slight bit more leg room than other arenas. Although this arena is large, it's not as big as that of other cities which is kind of a good thing as traffic and viewpoints are better here. The jumbotron is curved here which is a great feature and gives great views from every angle. The architecture, chandeliers, elegant and unique crown molding and look of Dickies Arena are also really nice. I like that the parking lot has multiple entrances and exits which help to control traffic before and after events. read more

My husband saw a bullrider talking to a few people in there & asked a lady who he was & the security snapped at him "YOU CAN'T TALK TO US OVER HERE" like we are dirty trash just cause we didn't pay the extra money to be in the special spot , Jesus Christ ! The lady was talking to him without having that attitude so obviously they don't feel the same. Now about 10mins later he apologized but I suspect that it was at the urging of another staff member who saw how much it disturbed us, but the damage was done, my concern is if my husband weren't Mexican would it have happened to begin with? Heyyyy. Went to the Hot Wheels show Saturday night 11/12/22 with my daughter. The place itself is great, such great views and nice staff. Pretty neat place to go. Would love to go to a concert out here and have a blast!! The Hot Wheels Glow in the Dark show was kinda cheesy. Very very slow process through the show. The trucks are cool as heck but the whole show was just eh. Not too bad on prices on food, beer meh. Just shared one with my daughter. Overall don't expect too much. Be safe and have fun! read more
