I get intimidated by taking my car to mechanic shops because of the little knowledge I know about automobiles. Complex mechanical explanations often make it impossible to tell if a recommended fix is truly urgent or completely unnecessary. My lack of knowledge creates a deep fear of being taken advantage of and overcharged. This was NOT the case with G&G Auto Repair. The gentlemen who greeted me at the front door were very patient with me while I was trying to explain the problems I had been having. After finding the problem they started working on it. While I was waiting I was offered water, soda, tea, coffee, etc... multiple times. This really shows that they care about their customers during stressful times. (What's more stressful than car problems am I right?!?) I'd hear them answering phones, help other customers, and communicate with the mechanics all while keeping excellent customer service. Not long after (remember they're quick!) I was told the problem was minor and to come back if I had any other issues. I am not sure why 6 hours of labor because once the engine is supported and splash shield is off, the other mounts should go faster. If a mechanic knows what he is doing and efficient it should not take more than 3.5 to max 3.75 hours of labor. Over priced labor.

He tightened and re-torqued almost the whole front suspension, saw a couple things on the rear end with a c v boot smearing some grease, even saw the exhaust was rubbing in a critical place. He is an honest guy who runs an honest shop. He works on all types of vehicles, from motor homes, classic cars and trucks, old school hot rods, and even my rice burner Subie. I think there is a backhoe there too. Give them a try and rest assured that you will not get taken advantage of. My car is a best in show winner from at least one big show. And I don't worry about the finish or scatches, or anything when it is in his care.
