We called on a Friday in the late afternoon and in 2 hours Riley was there and couldn't have been more pleasant or competent. He came up with a temporary fix that allowed us to turn the water back on until we could have ductwork removed to give him access to repair it permanently. He tested the area with air, so he wouldn't risk water leaking. He went through the whole house to make sure there weren't any other leaks and even checked the water meter to make sure water wasn't leaking where it couldn't be seen or heard. He was there for just under an hour. They are very fairly priced, although we weren't in a negotiating position. That's extremely unusual for the Hamptons. I recommend them without reservation!

We had a very shaky toilet that another plumber "fixed" 5 months prior. Mike got down to the bottom of the problem and gave me updates on what he was finding every step of the way. There were some major issues that needed to be fixed and Mike did not take any shortcuts, he was very transparent from start to finish. Our flange was rotted and Mike removed the broken flange put in a new flange set in concrete. He put in a new toilet and sealed it with silicone. This review is 1.5 months late because I wanted to be sure that the repairs made by Felip at GME Plumbing held up after he completed the plumbing work. I took pictures and sent them to Felip and he provided a reasonable estimate which included parts and labor, so we hired him. Felip and his helper did excellent work, left the place clean, and took away the rubbish. We paid the price in his estimate; there were no surprise extra charges. He 1) Repaired a leaking shower, replaced seat of valve with a special tool. Two previous plumbers only changed the washers and the leaks never stopped. 2) Replaced washing machine valves located behind shower wall. 3) Removed an old leaky toilet and replaced it with a new toilet. It's been over a month since the repairs were completed and there have been no leaks. The water bill is 40% less because of the repairs Felip made. We are very happy with Felip's work and will definitely use him again should we have further plumbing issues.

Bad Plumber, whose name is Edwin, completely botched a bathtub install. The miserable lying…read moresellers, whom I do not wish well, had removed the tub drain so that only the shower could be used. When I took a bath, the reason became obvious: the tub drained into the living room. The large volume of water was too much for the leaking pipes. ARRRRRGGGGHHH. So I replaced the tub with a bigger, deeper tub, and hired Bad Plumber to install it. He claimed that he repaired the leaking pipe. That was a lie. I took a bath, and it leaked again. Bad Plumber said that he would fix it. He did not return. So I called Roto-Rooter, because they guarantee their work. And they're a well-known company. Mike showed up on time. Gave me an estimate. It wasn't too bad. THEN he claimed that he needed a helper to thread a pipe through the ceiling, and no I couldn't do it. The other guy was going to cost an additional $450. UGH. For HOLDING A PIPE. He also insisted on replacing the bath fixtures. More money. Smh. They were brand new. So Mike did fix the leak. Months later, it's still holding up. But...he didn't want to replace the Sheetrock he cut out of the living room ceiling. He was going to just leave me WITH A LARGE HOLE IN MY LIVING ROOM CEILING. I told him that was unacceptable. He told me he's not a "drywall guy." I insisted he replace it, and he did, begrudgingly. He removed three panels from the bathroom wall, and didn't replace them, because "he's not a carpenter." They're still loose, because I can't quite get them back in. He left the old pipes and debris LYING ON MY DECK AND THE GRASS. I guess he's "not a garbage man" either. I should not have to clean up after a "professional," but I did. So....plumbing work: Excellent. No complaints. Mess left behind, extra helper nonsense, and sulking over the ceiling: Poor.
