Absolutely amazing everyone was so welcoming and knowledgeable on so many products we were looking for. I got to try out the Golfing Simulator and will be getting my golfing set soon. Horrid costumer service. Disorganized and not wanting to help. I was trying to exchange a hat I got as a gift and went to another Dick's earlier in the day where they informed me that this Dick's had the hat in the size I was looking for. However, when I arrived and asked a worker about it he told me to just wear the hat I had and see if it will stretch because he clearly didn't want to help me and get up from behind the desk. I continue looking on my own and find another worker who tells the other guy to look in the back... he comes back with hats that aren't even the same brand or color. Went to Dick's to check out and possibly buy a treadmill. Found employee named Mike nearby and asked if he could help us out. When I stated that I wanted to see if the tread length of the treadmill belt was good for my wife, he sort of mocked my knowledge of treamills and / or my ability to explain my question. I said, "look, I'm not here to debate / argue semantics, just help us get the treadmill to run." He got animated and childish with responses like: YES Sir! When my wife asked him a another question, he played the victim by saying, " I can't speak, I've made the gentleman mad." The whole experience was not pleasant. I'm not a confrontational person but I don't enjoy being taunted / talked down to to by a customer service employee. When we got off to bad start, instead of trying to smooth things over, he just wanted to play victim with his passive aggressive responses. Maybe he was not happy about working on Memorial Day, but there was no reason to take it out on me by being a wise guy. read more

Be aware of this location as they do not warrant any of the products warranty! We purchased a Wilson Evolution basket ball, which will run about 80.00 dollars. When trying to claim the product warranty due to defective ball not hold its pressure with in a 5 month of purchase they would not grant us the product warranty even though Wilson stands behind a one year product warranty.. be careful as Dicks Sporting Good may not be an unauthorized dealer and will not follow the product warranties. read more

Yes it's the last Saturday before Christmas and I ventured to Dicks for a last minute pair of shoes. Antonio in shoe dept assisted me to locate the last pair in size 8 i needed. It was the display. Once at the register Dallin assisted and offered a great service and friendly check out. While the lines were long and the store crowded these two get 5 stars they were friendly, smiling and appeared to enjoy their job for the day. Shopped for a new pair of hiking boots with a water resistant top. No sales person in the shoe section while I looked at, and tried on three different boots. My friend helped me pick out a pair. 5 stars for the products sold but 1 star for their lack of service and customer care. Someone spilled liquid on their floor that I did not see. I wasn't expecting there to be liquid on the floor. I slipped on it today and hit the ground rather hard. I was surprised that not one person came over to assist, or ask if I was ok. My friend alerted the front cashiers TWICE that I had fallen and there was a spill. I stayed there protecting the other customers from slipping on the same spill. Once the associates finally arrived, they did not once ask if I was ok or what had happened. I'm thankful this happened in front of a store camera and hope that this review has them reviewing the footage so they can instruct their staff to be mindful of spills but also to have better caring and human customer service. I'm glad I was not seriously injured, but still... very disappointed at the lack of care from multiple Dick's sporting good associates at the arrowhead location. I know accidents happen and the store cannot 110% catch spills from customers but they CAN make sure their customers are okay after they fall from spills. Corporate, please review your front door footage at 1pm-ish and see for yourself what I am saying to be true. I love your products but your staff needs a bit more humanity towards your customers. I'd like to first thank Ryan Walker for helping us with our very new venture! We are a family of four with two special needs kids. Due to Covid and other restrictions we know we won't be doing a ton of traveling like we did in the past. We were looking for something recreational to do with our kids and they love water. They had an opportunity to go surfing with an amazing organization of professional surfers (called surfers healing check them out!) so because we couldn't give them that this year the next best thing we could think of were paddle boards! Clearly I did some research but knew nothing about what we needed. Not only did Ryan help us track down two of the boards we were looking for he helped us find the proper gear for the roof of the car and helped us put it on !!!! (Who does that?) we had our kids with us in the car and he stood outside and helped us mount the Board correctly to our car!!! I love the fact that he was knowledgeable and was not trying to upsell me like REI for the same rack it was about $100.00 less and no instal fee! If that's not amazing customer service I don't know what is?! Also we had to go to the Norttera location to pick up our other paddle board (I'll write a review that location as well.) the staff was very helpful and kind as well. To be honest the whole team they had on the floor was very friendly and professional. I have worked management, and customer service for years as well as running my own small businesses and it's so refreshing to see such good customer service I'd like to add this location is in arrowhead mall (I also worked for in this mall for years! It's not easy customers can be awful)so I can tell you the other side of it. But these people really seem to enjoy their jobs and environment. The store is really clean and visually appealing and yes those are the things I notice because I worked retail for years it makes a difference. The best thing is my kids had a great experience here they were great with my children with special needs. After going a handful of times my son actually asks to go to dicks sporting goods when we leave the house now! Lol!! to be fair we went like 3 days in a row so I could go and get all the gear we needed. (And wanted) This is one of the bigger purchases I have made and I felt very happy with the selection and did not feel pressured in any way like I did from other stores. I would highly recommend Dicks sporting good and this arrowhead location! You have lifetime customers for sure!! We as a family have made an effort to shop online as well instead of on sites like EBay or Amazon... I believe it's important to support your local business that support your community and your needs!!!! So excited to give the boys this experience and to make these memories with them. I usually dread the mall, but today's experience was awesome. We have been driving from store to store for hours to find football cleats for my son with no luck. We found a few pairs he liked here, but none in his size. With no prompting the employee helping told us about a pair of great cleats in his size that they just put in clearance and hadn't even put on the floor yet. They fit perfect, my son was ecstatic none of his teammates had the same pair and they were on clearance for 25$...regular 60$. Happy mom and happier kid. Great job on service today! read more

My search for an adult kick scooter brought me to the Arrowhead Towne Center Mall in Glendale, where I finally found the elusive item after a long search in different sporting goods stores. The mall was a delight, but that's for another review. The Dick's Sporting Goods store in this mall was really huge, very brightly lit, well stocked with a lot more items than I see in most sporting goods stores, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I immediately found the item I was looking for, but had to stay a long while to browse and take mental inventory of the abundant and extremely varied sports merchandise, as I've decided that this will be a preferred destination for future shopping trips for sporting goods. read more

How sad, one of my favorite stores and NOBODY to help me find a shoe size. On 02/04/2021 not busy 5:20 pm tried to buy shoes for running and the guy kept walking around and when I said "Hello" he said Give me a sec and went to talk to some girl for a long time. TERRIBLE SERVICE! I went in on a Sunday morning to get some soccer cleats and when I got there, there were about 10 people waiting to be helped. Only one guy was working the soccer area so I went to the cross training section and the guy working there wouldn't help me. He said I had to go see the soccer guy. How is one guy going to help 10 people waiting around? He came out finally took my sizes I needed and then disappeared for 10 minutes. Another customer had another worker go in the back to find him since he went MIA.
