So my husband frequents this location on occasion for clubs, golf accessories, what not. He had ordered a new club and asked me to pick up for him during the week. First, I know absolutely nothing about golf, zilch. When I arrived to pick up I had a question. The middle aged, dark haired gentleman (loose term here) working the order/repair desk was extremely rude. Not matter of fact, rude. Big attitude. He made me feel like an idiot. The original time I went in to buy a set of clubs I had to ask for help. Some kid said he could help me and picked what seemed to be the cheapest set he could find and kept telling me how much they were as if I couldn't afford them. I told him I wasn't worried about the cost if I could find a good set that works for me. The second time I went to buy a driver and tested out a few, he said I needed a X stiff and then he couldn't find 1 so said stiff would work. I feel like he just wanted to sell something even though it doesn't work for me. He was a "professional" so I took his advice and unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I had demo'd a set of clubs at several places all over town, including 2 other superstores....and finally convinced myself to pull the trigger. My rough math had me spending $3400-$3600, give or take. Talked to 2 people who said they'd get someone to help me out and had 2 others look dead at me while I paced around the irons, but never actually came over to see what I was interested in. This is my main golf store that I attend regularly. I have spent a few thousand here in the past couple months. Today I go in with my brother and kids to look at a new driver for him. Gerald had nothing but attitude and condescending remarks after anything we had to say. It made the experience extremely uncomfortable. I stopped in to purchase a set of Ping G425 irons that were waiting for me at the service counter. I am a high-handicap golfer playing on a set of 15-year-old clubs who wanted to elevate my game. I just wanted to give the new clubs one last try before I committed. I also wanted a new Ping driver. The older guy overseeing the studio area was incredibly judgemental during my experience and the opposite of helpful when asking questions. Instead of providing helpful guidance or instruction, he just made dumb judgemental comments. His arrogance turned me off. I tried to avoid this guy while looking at drivers, but he couldn't resist making further comments while I was reading up on the options of this specific club on my phone. I asked him to help me with the right selection since he knew so much, but that wasn't his intention. This store is not the right one to purchase if you need help. He lost my sale for this store. After reading the reviews about the location I see customer service is a common theme. I called afterward to complain and spoke with Rita, one of the managers. She suggested I give them another opportunity with her or another person handling the interaction. I don't have time to train others on their customer service, so I passed--lots of stores and people out there who want to help and make a sale. I purchased my clubs elsewhere and I'm very satisfied. read more

This store is either tragically understaffed or the employees that are there do not understand customer services. I specifically came in to purchase Irons. I do need assistance as there are many choices these days. I was looking at several makes right in the proximity of two different fitters who were talking to other customers. I then stood by them but not so close as to make it uncomfortable. Neither gentleman acknowledged my presence. I didn't expect that they would drop everything to work with me. I thought they might be able to at least ask me if I needed help. I figured that since I was standing there with an old club in my hand looking at them and waiting for them patiently. They both brought their customers to the hitting booths...no words or looks given. I'm currently in the parking lot for golf galaxy which is about a half mile from that building. I may also head over to second swing which I've heard great things about since they opened. Several of my friends have complained about this store and I actually had decent experiences until today. read more

I was super excited to go into the store and try to find a really nice bag for my dad for his birthday present. When I walked in I told the guy at the front that I was going to need help picking out a bag and he said he would find somebody to send back there. After standing around for quite a long time and no workers in sight To help me even though there were several people in the front of the store, I decided to leave. As I walked out the guy stopped me when I first entered the store was too busy dancing with his mask hanging half off his face and asked if I didn't find anything. The dark haired man who was working in the repair section had the worst attitude I have ever experienced here. Usually I have nothing but great interactions with people who work here and this guy acted as if he was the only one in the entire store that had a job to do and there was a line of 100 people. I asked a simple question about checking my clubs and everything he had to say was extremely condescending. I explained my concern and his attitude just sucked. Im sorry but I can't imagine an employee at a golf store has that much to worry about inside the doors of that store on a daily basis that would make someone that bitter. When asked a what "while" meant. He told me that he was "a one man show." Just very unprofessional. Didn't even get a "hello, sorry for the wait, be right with you" anyways. It's real shame because I spend lots of money at the pga stores. I went directly across the way to golf galaxy and with people in the line at the service counter I was still helped within minutes and providing great customer service. It was literally that easy. I wasn't asking to change the world. I was asking what lie angle my clubs were. I don't go into PGA Superstore much at this point but I have gone in to order new clubs from them on a couple different occasions. They have always provided good service when I have gone in. I am also the tournament chair for a charity golf tournament for a non profit that I am a part of. They have been a sponsor the past 2 years and it is well worth it. You can probably find some cheaper golf apparel out there but there are not a lot of golf stores that allow you to try out a club before you buy it on their simulators. read more

I absolutely have to share an exceptional customer service experience I had at this location! Lisa was AMAZING, it's rare that you find someone in the service industry that OWNS your problem! I wanted a specific pair of shoes in a specific size. This location didn't have them in stock so at 720 at night Lisa took the initiative to go and find the shoes I wanted at a store in Florida! Took my info, called me the next day to confirm that they were ordered. Tracy the manager took her time to talk to me two more times. The people there obviously care about your experience. This isn't about price or some other stuff this is about a real brick and mortar store who took genuine concern in MY experience. I could find the shoes cheaper but I will be back here because of the employees! read more

Especially, Club Fitting, purchasing new clubs and building a new set of Irons to fit my ball speed. The Glendale PGA Superstore was a gift from the Golf Gods. Starting from the top with Gary, to fitters like Mike, and builders like Ben, all of my wishes were taken care of and so much more. Professional, personal and caring, the people at the PGA Superstore are wonderful and everyone of them knows golf. Went into the Glendale PGA Superstore this morning. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and pointed me out to the club bays were I met the club fitter Darren who has been a club fitter for over 25 years.. I explained to him my swing and ball flight and told him that I wanted to try out the new Ping G-425 driver. He put one together for me and after a couple of shaft changes we found the one that suits my skills. I hit this driver at least 20 yards than my old driver. Can't wait to hit it on the course. Worst fitting experience of my life. I went to the North Scottsdale location last year to get fitted and it was an excellent time and got clubs I had never even considered cause we went through lots of options. I went to get fitted for some wedges yesterday, haven't bought new ones since I started playing about 5 years ago, so I wanted to understand what was new and the differences between brands. I believe the gentleman's name was Gordie who I was working with. From the start he seemed annoyed I was there. He had me warm up and hit about 10 balls and said "well now what do you want to do?" So I said I had heard good things about the Cleveland RTX6 and the Taylor Made hi toe and wanted to see those since all I have played was Callaway and he took me to look at Titleist and Callaway wedges. I hit them and then said I swung the Titleist 58 better and the Callaway 54 better and he said "well you aren't sponsored by them so why do you care if you buy 2 different brands" so I asked what the difference between those were and the Taylor Made hi toe and Cleveland was and he said "I've played golf a long time and the look of the hi toe is not something anyone who has played golf would like and if the Cleveland wedges were the best wedges around people on tour would play them and they don't" so I had to go grab the Taylor made and Cleveland clubs myself to go hit them and after I did I asked what the difference is on the full face and not full face and he said "there is no difference between any of them. I gotta get out of here so are we putting you in a new set of Callaway wedges?" (Mind you I got there at 3 so this wasn't closing time). I just ended up telling him I was fine and then calling around to the other PGA stores to see if they had what I thought I might want after getting no help and driving over to Scottsdale to get more help over there. Will be hard pressed to go back to Peoria after this experience. Really frustrating and disappointing waste of about an hour of my life. I get none of us are tour pros but no need to make me feel like that. read more

I've purchased Mizuno Tour Irons, Titleist TS Driver, numerous wedges because my short game needs help and various other products from the Glendale store. I go in at 7:15 on Saturday 6/5/21 to purchase a new TSi2 or 3 fairway wood and could not get help, but 10 feet away (and I was looking at both of them) from me I got to listen to 2 young men who work there talk about how someone they work with was an (use your own word here) and should've been fired 5 years ago. As I was walking out a nice gentleman (and I mean that) said have a nice evening and I told him I wanted to buy new 3 wood and walked out. He tried to apologize which I accepted and went to Golf Galaxy and bought my 3 wood for the same price. I'm getting fitted on Monday to get it set up. I just deleted my $20 in gift certificates I could use in the store. I won't give them another penny. I have had outstanding service every time I've been there but no more. read more

I appreciate her willingness in letting me hit a few different wedges on a slow night then just letting me play around with some new Callaway irons I wasn't planning on buying. I experienced nothing but professional customer service at this facility. Recently I was recommended to go from regular to stiff shaft. After Larry changed out the shaft I ordered. I went to try it out in the bay. My drives were going right. He assisted me in a proper stance set up and with the data displayed he was able to recommend what ball to use. After a couple of swings and getting comfortable. I was able to drive it right down the middle on a consistent basis. Once the muscle memory and stance become normal. Hope to hit a 300 year drive. read more

John was excellent and worked with me and my daughter on being fitted correctly for our drivers traded in a unusable driver to me for one that will surely make me love finding the center of the fairway every time..
