Enter Native Water Sports! We've seen the store several times but never went it. We decided to go and we are so glad we did. Ted, the owner and operator, graciously helped us get the proper parts and told us he'd call us back to the store once received. About a week later, the parts were here, and Ted and my husband arranged a time at the shop. He not only helped install the rack to ensure that it was safely mounted, but he also showed my husband how he did it and was very hands-on! It took them about one and a half hours - and we were good to go. He showed us how to use the straps, how to take the pads off/on, etc. You can absolutely tell Ted is a well seasoned professional kayak guy - not only that, but he's friendly and just a genuinely nice person. He basically told me I'm sol and the manner in which he told me was very condescending. I wasn't happy. I also reminded him that the bait he brought 2 weeks ago was horrible. It was thawed out several times it seems like and couldn't even hook it. His response it there's a shortage and whatever his supplier beings is what he have. He was the one also trying to pass off glass minnows as silverside to me a few months ago. Good thing I caught it as I was about to pay for it. Not a good experience dealing with him at all.

We found North Fork Bait & Tackle right when I walked in to the store they gave me a warm greeting and asked what they could do for me. They gave me information freely and the prices on the bait were surprisingly lower than expected. Thanks to them I had a very successful fishing day. Brought my…read moreDuotts n26 there for a flat repair and installation of Tannus Armour Tire Liners (obviously an installation that was a bit too late). I also asked if he could check out my throttle which wasn't working. He installed the liners replaced the tubes (needed smaller tubes because of liners) and checked the throttle which he couldn't repair because it was defective (Duotts has finally agreed to replace the defective throttle). He also fixed an issue I had with my bike rack. On a funny side note, when I originally looked at reviews of bike repair shops, the number one repair shop in the Stuart area by far was the Palm city bike repair shop. Unfortunately, it showed that this shop was out of business. And so I settled on Jensen Beach shop. Little did I know that the owner of the Jensen Beach shop it was the same owner of the Palm city shop who closed that location and opened up the Jensen Beach shop. So I ended up with the shop I wanted all along. Bottom line would I recommend this shop? Absolutely! This is one of the few "Repair" shops versus "we service the bikes we sell only" shops in the area. The owner is great. He does great work. I would highly recommend him.
