I came with my mom in looking for some work essentials and was ASTONISHED at their Stanley Cup wall! Not just that particular brand but Yeti, and other great brand cups as well! Usually they are hard to come by in Target but I couldn't believe the selection! Given how short I am the employees were extremely helpful getting my things down from this giant wall they were all extremely nice!!! They had very nice leggings work out gear and some sparkly crocs!!! I will say it was a bit on the pricey side clothes wise however I found my work bag (Bogg Bag) a perfect medical bag with multiple sizes for WAY less money than I expected so the going with the medium was wonderful with the value! I did also get some stick on's off Amazon for my girly self but it is PERFECT for work I highly recommend Dicks they have so much more than just sporting good! Dicks is pretty much the only all around sporting goods store in our area. They pretty much have everything you would need for just about any sport. However, they do not sell firearms and ammunition anymore which is extremely disappointing. When I visit, I have been greeted by a cashier. Finding help sometimes is another story. You may have to seek someone out. I would shop around online to compare pricing as a lot of times they are on the higher side. However, sometimes you cant beat seeing/trying something out before your purchase it. If you look hard enough, they usually have sale racks for some name brands. I have also purchased a basketball hoop through their website. When I received an email indicating it was ready for pick up, the store pick up process was really easy. When I arrived, I indicated that in the link they sent me. After about five minutes, an associate brought the hoop out and assisted me in loading it into the truck. In all, I've had good experiences here. It really just comes down to being okay with not getting the best price sometimes. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR GOLF CLUBS HERE!! I took my irons here to get some shafts extended and some shortened. I was told it would be about 3-4 days which I was okay with. I even supplied my own grips to make things easier. On the 4th day I called and asked for an update on the progress. I was told they would possibly be done that day and if not, the next day forsure. I then followed up later that day and asked for another update only to find out they haven't even started on them yet and there was now 2 services in front of me. They proceeded to tell me they couldn't give me a time frame as they don't know how long it could be. I went to pick them up and get a refund when I spoke with the manager about the situation (who was the one who gave me the 3-4 day time frame) I was just given excuses and so I finally left. Needless to say I will never be returning to this dicks location and will strongly advise against anybody I know bringing their clubs here or anything golf related. Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous service. Nobody knows what they are doing back there and they have no type of Efficiency whatsoever. read more

Great place to come in if you need jackets for this cold/wet weather we're currently having. My husband needed a windbreaker for work and he was determined to find a Nike windbreaker. After walking around in a circle after 3x he couldn't find anything. I looked through the Columbia/Patagonia area and BOOM! Found the best windbreaker for only $39.00, for a Columbia brand- not bad in my bargain shopper book! At the registers we were next up to be called, the one guy working the one register was trying to help someone return something, but it was taking forever with the many questions. A gal that was restocking the shelves nearby saw the impatient look on our faces, so she opened up a register to assist checking us out. This is customer service, nice and aware. Everybody knows dicks is pretty expensive, but I was super impressed by the level of customer service i received at this store. Long story short there was a mix up with pricing on these sandals my dad and I were attempting to purchase. In the end we were wrong, but the sales associate and manager honored the price we originally thought we were buying. Nobody was salty and no attitude was given. Bought a brand new bike rack and opened to find both small-hardware bags torn and rack half assembled. I specifically asked if it had been opened and returned because the side was taped up. The associate assured me it was new and that they didn't accept returns. My fault for letting this happen. Literally WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Every single time. The employees act so inconvenienced by all customer presents / interaction at all. Literally so disrespectful and ridiculous for the prices of everything. We enter the store- they say nothing besides "store closes in 15.." Ok. So we go grab the shoes we needed and decided to get glasses. We get to the golf shoes, all around $100 off the gate. Ok no problem. HOWEVER none of their shoes are even in the right spot so we had to search for a pair totally not even what we were looking for. Maybe if there were anybody available to help us, we could have found what we were looking for. None of the NIKE shoes were under their display. It was a mess. We go to the counter and get completely ignored by all the employees. We asked for help and the kid looked relatively new. He asked for the key to the glasses, literally he did NOT say more than 5 words to us AT ALL. He asks for help from his co-worker and the guy hands him the set of keys, the kid had no idea what key worked.... fumbles through all of them. Asks for help AGAIN (like if y'all are trying to leave that bad then help this kid so we can get out of here...... common sense, right?!) so the manager comes to help, again doesn't even acknowledge the CUSTOMERS at all. He finally figures out the key . He hands the glasses to the cashier. Literally doesn't say one more word to us. We go to the cashier he doesn't even say anything just rings up our items acting Customer service goes a LONG way. We were in there for less than 15 and spent enough to pay one of their paychecks, maybe they can show the shoppers like ANY appreciation for shopping in their overpriced store. Memorial Day weekend, we were in Ripon for a baseball tournament for kids 13U. We bought my nephew a $340 catchers mitt. After catching 3 games, the laces and popped out and mutt was unusable. Last weekend, we were back in Modesto for another tournament. We spoke with both the asst manager and manager. Not only did they refuse to do anything to assist us, they were unprofessional, they yelled at us through voice mail. We will never go back and the teams in our area will follow our lead. While the staff were nice they didn't seem to being implementing Covid guidelines. Several customers were walking around without masks and when staff become aware they failed to respond. I had been looking through several stores to find some decent hiking boots that I could also wear casually while travelling. The lady that worked the back area (where all the shoes were) was very helpful! She was constantly walking around making sure everyone was helped. At that, she came back to check on me a handful of times! The other section was a different story... I was browsing through the bicycle and fitness equipment area, and there was no employee that bothered to help. It's a pity, too, because there's quite a few things that I was interested in buying.
