Do not go here if you have any kind of disability. They discriminate against people with disabilities. They literally wouldn't release the Glock 17 i bought from them 10 days earlier because my right arm is paralyzed and has no movement after an accident I had at the beginning of 2022, even though I completed all the paperwork, background check, 10 day wait, and performed the safe-handling demonstration test flawlessly with the dummy round. One of the employees "Rishi" told me I'm allowed to use my hip to rack the slide since I only have use of one arm, and so I did that, but then the bald/short/old/obese employee with the bad teeth came up to "Rishi" and said "I don't feel comfortable with this one, that's a real freakin' gun in his hands" -as if I wasn't standing right there. It was very disrespectful and unprofessional the way he said that. (he looks like a little ogre, you can't miss him) Again, I performed the safety test flawlessly, it's all recorded on their CCTV cameras, I'm not making any of this up. Also the short/obese employee "Kelly" came up to me and said "it's dangerous" to rack the slide on my hip and I'm not allowed to use that method for the safety test even though "Rishi" is the one that literally advised me to use this method. They then said that they "don't feel comfortable" selling me the Glock (after I already paid for it and waited 10 days) because "we don't wanna be liable if someone gets shot"... Like what is that even supposed to mean? How is someone going to get shot..? They saw me perform the safety demonstration just fine, my trigger discipline, muzzle awareness, and control were all there... The craziest part is, I went into their store multiple times before they sold me the gun and they saw that my right arm didn't work, so I don't know if they thought my right arm was going to just magically start working again when it came time to do the safe-handling demonstration test or what..? Why would they sell me the gun and make me go through the whole process just to turn me away when I came to pick up the gun after the 10 day wait? It doesn't make any sense. These guys have a lawsuit on their hands now, I'm going to speak with a lawyer to discuss a potential lawsuit for discrimination against persons with disabilities. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Turner's scrubs their CCTV footage in an effort to act like none of this happened, but fortunately I have audio recordings on my phone along with time stamps. Anyhow, I still can't believe this happened. If you have any physical disabilities or limitations, avoid this place at all costs. If you don't have any physical disabilities, I guess you'll be fine doing business with these scummy people. Oh, and guess what, as soon as I left "Turners" I went over to a REAL gun shop about 15 minutes away and explained what happened and they were more than happy to sell me a Glock 17 with my current physical condition. True story. Those guys are true American patriots who actually support the 2nd amendment and hold no prejudices against anyone's physicality, unlike "Turners". read more

So far I've been to four different Turners Outdoorsman within the past year, and I've gotta say they must have a nice and efficient hiring process. Every single time I walk into a turners I am greeted with a friendly face!!! I believe The people behind the counter is why they are so successful! They do NOT make you feel stupid for not knowing everything there is to know about firearms, ammo, or the purchasing process. They are all VERY knowledgeable and when they don't know an answer to a question, they do not bs you like every other gun store, they'll tell you honestly that they do not know. And between the entire staff they'll have an answer for you. Besides just the great employees that work there, I really enjoy the layouts of the stores. They all basically have the same layout with the guns and ammo in the back. Everything is labeled and in the correct spot with the price visible!!! It's always super clean. And they have a large availability of firearms and ammo. Even with the ammo shortage I've only found .45 acp target ammo at Turners!!! No one else can seem to keep that caliber in stock anymore!!! They even helped me purchase 2 firearms last year, with no crazy additional wait times or fees! Once you are in their system, firearm and ammo purchases are a breeze!!!! They keep your info and only ask for my Drivers license and birth certificate for those purchases anymore. They actually call you when your stuff is ready and bump you up on the list if you answer or get back to them in time!!! Just all around a delight to do business with!
