From the casual athlete, to the experienced, this place will have everything you need to succeed in your discipline. This place is beautiful, with two floors of walk through. It also has a batting cage, for those interested in getting their swing on. Always seem to find a good deal on their supplements, and the clearance rack for apparel is always an eye catcher, with new training gear that you won't feel bad destroying. The store is a nice 2 story facility with products covering most of not all sports. With that being said the associates are not very familiar with the needs and use of the products in the different departments. Also, curbside pickup is an utter joke. 35+ minutes waiting because they can't find my order yet it shows it is available and has been since yesterday. Make sure you know what you need and go find it yourself. Do not rely on the employees to suggest the products you want besides them looking at the price tags and picking the most expensive items and assuming it is the best. read more

When your teenage son who's not even old enough to drive yet requires cleats 3 sizes bigger than your own shoe size, you come to DICK'S for their vast selection and quality. I can say...with their newly installed kiosks throughout each department, requesting equipment has never been easier. Erm....usually. Sometimes. It worked well enough the first time. My son wanted to try on a couple pair of cleats and we received both pairs. The kiosk is basic enough; pick a shoe, your size, even filter it out between male and female. Submit the request to try them on, and a floor rep is supposed to bring them out to you minutes later. Well anyway, the second time trying this, nobody came for over 30 minutes. Fortunately, my son was able to settle on a pair he liked because we were both over it all by then. Lines were short and they accept NFC payments. Though I'm not sure if it was a lack of staff that held them up before or just sheer incompetence. Whatever the case, let's hope they get it fixed soon or we just caught them on a bad day. Because it wasn't even all that busy in there that day. This DICK'S is one of the larger ones, clocking in with two floors directly attached to the Pheasant Lane Mall. One thing's for sure, you should definitely be able to find whatever sports equipment you need here. Even their hockey line-up was impressive to me (I'm a fan). When I need to buy or look for anything gym related, I come to Dick's first...mostly because the competition around the area died out. But my first running shoes was recommended by a staff member 2 years ago and got a good amount of attention from it (purple Pegasus 35s). Those shoes are no longer available since. Most recently I came for gym gloves to help improve my grips. The first pair tore at the seams before I even got to put them to the test. The exchange process was super easy and my new pairs fit perfectly with no issues! They also have the latest Under Armour Rock Collection, which I'm a huge fan of! Can't find anything and their selection is poor. What they do have is marked up. Looking for kids? Good luck, it's mixed in with the adults. The entire store is organized by BRAND, so you'd have to walk the entire store if you are looking for non brand specific "light sweatpants" (and it seems all they have is black or dark blue). Worth repeating, their store is poorly organized, not easy to navigate, and the selection is poor. I equate this store to having to walk the entire Merrimack Outlets property to find something you should be able to find in 10 minutes tops. read more

Spent $2K on a treadmill. Got it home and several functions didn't work. Was told to contact the manufacturer. Tried for over a month to get help, without good results. Went back to Dick's for help. After much difficulty arranging a scheduled appointment, they didnt show up. Spent another month trying to get help and finally their technicians showed up one day....unannounced and took the treadmill back. Was promised a new one a couple days later and received a phone call that the Dick's club in Manchester wouldn't release our new one because the Dick's Club in Nashua didn't do the transfer paperwork. After 2 months of them having our $2K and not having a fully functioning treadmill, told them to keep it and got a refund. Will never purchase a Sole product or do business with Dick's again. read more

I needed some elastic bands for my dislocated shoulder rehab and they were easy to find. Also needed some small dumb bells and they had what I needed. Try finding them elsewhere. They have a large selection of all things Sports. Don't worry about customer service when none of our kids want to work these days like we used to back in the day. He sad he couldn't find it although it is in the inventory system and I am holding right side of shoes. He just doesn't want to spend extra minutes to look for it. Bought an elliptical and they scheduled delivery without verifying if I was going to be at home. Trying to get the delivery day changed was impossible. Emails and phone calls went unanswered. I don't normally write reviews however my husband and I were at this location the week of 11-2 and witnessed a manager named Jon yelling at and being obscenely rude to a customer who was asking questions. We witnessed the entire interaction and it was was textbook poor customer service. My husband and I just laughed at the drama unfolding in front of us and decided to walk out. No one was there to ask us if we needed anything so there was no reason to stay. We moved to NH to escape this type of behavior. During the pandemic, I ordered two kayaks from the Nashua New Hampshire Dicks location after an extensive search, because of a shortage of kayaks everywhere. The next day, I received a text that the order had been fulfilled and that the kayaks were waiting for pickup. I drove 1.5 hours to the store and was told that the order had been cancelled. I thought that "order is ready for pickup" meant that when you came to pick it up, it would be there! Not "out of stock!" When I called Customer Service, they offered me no help and no compensation. Then she asked me again and politely I said "im all set" She said are you sure and I again said no. She then gave me an attitude and made a comment under her breath. This is a huge Dick's. It's two floors and it's connected to the mall. No joke, it seems to go on forever. They have a huge selection of athletic and outdoorsy stuff. You can get your scent-proof camouflage hunting gear and a jockstrap to wear underneath all in one place! I needed something, my first thought was to find it at Dick's and they had it. The Good - Pretty much everything you could want under one roof The Bad - Customer service is poor. In the past some of the staff have left a friend and I waiting at a department counter for over 10 minutes without ever being acknowledged even though we were clearing seen by a employee. The Ugly - In my opinion the door greeters are way to aggressive to the point of being obnoxious. This is not about customer service at all... it's a anti-theft deterrent that also makes paying customers feel uncomfortable in my opinion. Terrible, messy store. Customer service is an abomination. Ah, so many horrible things. So let me just sum up my last two (and last two, forever, visits) 1. Came in looking for running apparel. Back when I lived closer to Nashua, this store was quite good, but my, how things have changes. First, except for shoes, they have NO running specialty brands. They have a few running shorts by Nike, UA, etc, but absolutely none by Asics, Brooks, etc. A quick look online shoes they still carry these brands. And other stores have a bigger running section. There were no sizes, items out of stock left and right, and, being a Friday night, multiple groups of highschoolers were running and screaming through the store. To top off the night, a group of boys threw a kayak, or some other heavy thing, down the escalator. Employees who had previously been doing literally nothing but standing around looking angry finally started to you know, pay attention. Would've sucked to get knocked in the head while on the escalator, just sayin.... 2. Next visit--to find a bicycle. Found something nice, tested it, choose to purchase. Looked it over--damaged. Looked at another 2--also damaged. Found the last one on the rack--was ok. No one asked us if we'd like help, but didn't have any hopes for this, anyway. Took bike upstairs. Was informed we cannot buy it, have to get it checked by their "expert" first. Fine. Where do we go? Oh he's not here. Called up manager, who walked up scowling, ready to do battle. Excellent customer service, there. We said unfortunately we are going on a trip, and cannot come back "at the very earliest tomorrow morning" or whenever the heck their expert works. They said too bad. Clearly, they don't like making money. Last bit. I understand them wanting to cover their you know what and not be liable on bikes. But a huge chain not being able to sell bikes at any given time? Uhhhhhhhhhhh. Don't think this particular store is gonna last much longer--hope they put something better there. read more

Great selection of baseball/softball gloves. , Very bummed out that the steamer was broken when we went to buy a glove. Its seems like the best place in Southern NH, Northern MA to purchase an athletic product. I have been here countless times and every single time I have never had to worry about not having a size shoe, a color Nike Pro shorts for my daughter or certain item. There is something for everyone. Dicks never disappoints. period. Bonus points to Dicks for becoming an large anchor tenant and reviving Pheasant Lane Mall. The store has a pretty good overall selection for just about any sport, even shooting. Their staff are not the most helpful or knowledgeable though. I was there recently to return some shoes that didn't fit. The clerk at the front called to the shoe department if there were more of the same in stock. Yes. So I went back to shoes to try some on. The shoe clerk pointed me at shoes of a different model and style. Sigh. I explained what I was looking for and she showed me some that were close. Not seeing any I liked I asked her if another style I was also looking for was in stock. She said no. Fine, I'll look around. I turn the corner and right there were the shoes I just asked about. And I know this clerk has worked at the store for at least six months, so I can only interpret as a total lack of training or she just didn't feel like helping me. read more

In fact they made a point of trying to ignore us. When we asked where to find soccer goals most had no clue. We went up and down both floors because we were sent all over place. I recently purchased a bike from the Nausha store and must say that I had a great experience. I dealt with Pat & Dave. Both very knowledgeable about what I was looking for and which bike suited my needs. A couple of weeks later the pedal broke on the bike. I called up and they told me to bring it in. It was less then five minutes and they put a brand new one on and didn't charge me. You don't seem to find a lot of people going the extra mile these days so I just wanted to thank Pat & Dave for helping me out. read more

Shoe department takes forever to get help, although the couple of guys I've talked to about shoes were great, there aren't enough people working the floor to get timely service. Terrible service and they're not afraid to lie, bait and switch. Talked with Sydney on the phone about a kayak I was looking for. She said it looks like there is one blue lifetime kuna, not the color you want, I wanted orange...I didn't care. She said I'm looking at it now. We went over the specs together and I asked can I buy it by phone since they allowed curbside pick-up? She told me no even though the website wasn't working correctly. I asked her to hold it that I would head there now (45 minute drive) and she said that's a hard no but she joked that she would deter folks until I got there. Got there in 42 minutes. Extremely disorganized. I asked where it was and they had no idea. I asked if any had been sold yet and they said no. Enter incompetent manager. They went back and forth for an hour and asked me if my last name was....I said no but why does that matter, you can't hold them. First they said it was in the back and then they said it didn't;t exist. I said we can clear this up if I can talk to Sydney (clearly these guys were clueless). They kept saying she was on a break, couldn't come out, etc. We actually saw her walk by (name tag) and she saw us and took off! They kept going out back to talk with her finally saying she told me they had the lime green one. I said I think I would know if she said lime green hydro v blue lifetime kuna, not even close in name or color. I wish I had listened when folks told me avoid Dicks. I write this lengthy review because I didn't listen to the advice I got. I have also reported them to the BBB (tried selling me defective item then an up sell item.). This store SUCKS!! Every time I come in here I leave more furious than the time before. Tonight's the last time I will ever attempt to shop here. They have a huge clearance area in the lower level of the store, all signs say an additional 25% reduction will be taken- PERIOD! So I pick up an item clearance tagged at $34.97, wait a minimum of 15 minutes to check out - other people had the same complaint as me, to finally get to the register to learn the item I wanted to purchase was only marched down the add'l 25% IF the ticketed price ended in .93.... STUPID!!!!!!! Walked out after manager was too short sighted to honor the price. read more

I love the selection and have had good luck with major purchases, like an installed basketball hoop. However, recently I've never seen more than one register open and there's usually a long line. This store is amazing! It is always clean and I have never had an issue with the staff. I love the variety they offer! My only complaint is I do not feel the sales are that great. My daughter recently bought a kayak for me for my birthday at Dick's. After she gave the gift she told me that not a single person at the store offered to help her carry the kayak and she was very upset. After sitting in the kayak I realized that it was a little too small for me and that I wanted to buy a bigger one. She said that was fine because she got me a "Gift" receipt in case I wanted to return it. So I headed to Dick's in Nashua NH to return my birthday gift. I carried the kayak across the parking lot and entered the store. As I stood in the lobby of the store with this 50 pound kayak over my head...three sales associates walked right past me and never offered me help. After standing there for 5 minutes I finally got someones attention and asked them where the Return Desk was. He abruptly told me I could enter any register and return the kayak there. After a brief discussion with the kid behind the register he informed me that my daughter paid for the kayak on her credit card and they could either credit the card or I would have to get a store credit. I asked to speak with a manager and he rudely said the same thing. I told him that I had a Gift Receipt and what good is a Gift Receipt if they were going to credit my daughters credit card back? He continued to tell me that it was store policy to either offer a store credit or credit the cash back on the card. So I told him to credit the cash back on the card and that I didnt want to buy anything in a store that treats customers so poorly. So in closing I will never buy anything in Dick's Sporting Goods ever again. Their policies are unfair and the staff is rude, lazy and have very poor customer service.
