On May 6th, I was stopped by a worker with my boyfriend, because I was hoping to purchase some Pokémon cards. I understand there's a limit but we were going to purchase things separately. However we got stopped because "we already bought cards." A separate group in front of us purchased cards for a child in line with their grownup. We were told, "You cannot purchase more than two packs of Pokémon cards" and we explained to her that we weren't with that group. She then claimed that she saw us buying cards and when we asked to verify that, she then refused to. Then said " I only know what I saw." I bought a 65" Roku TV last night. When I opened it this morning all the accessories were missing, so I went to bring it back. When I returned it at the store, it turns out that the TV serial number didn't match the box. Upon further inspection it was actually a Sony tv. So, somone in the store or their distributor swapped TVs and I'm out $400. Store customer service and managers couldn't care less and just kept repeating that there is nothing they can do if the serial numbers don't match. No investigation or research or concern about internal theft/fraud of any kind. So I'll try disputing the charge, going to small claims, etc. What an unnecessary waste of time, money and frustration due to Target fraud! read more

I would select a department and he would disconnect me and no one would answer at the front desk at guest services. I ended up having to drive all the way to the store just to find out that they didn't have the item I was specifically looking for. I complain at customer service, and they discovered that the phone at the counter is set to do not disturb. They turned me into a Walmart shopper over the course of an afternoon. read more

Went to this Target a week ago for a few simple items on a Sunday afternoon and was shocked and disappointed to see the condition of this store. Most shelves were only half stocked making the store look like it did in the pandemic when it was difficult to get enough inventory. Every aisle had multiple shopping carts that were filled with items to needed to be put back on the shelves, if you were in a wheelchair it would have been challenging to navigate all this. Overall it is not a well managed store and is not an enjoyable shopping experience. Just listened to the CEO Brian Cornell on Squawk box tell investors they pay competitive wages of $15-$24 hr depending on location. You need to look at Woburn and pay hire wages. It's clear to me 'your customer' that you are not paying your workers enough and they are finding employment elsewhere with higher paying wages. Your store is a mess and you can't keep up with the basics of keeping shelves stocked and aisles clear. Clean up your act. read more

This is the most hilariously chaotic Target I have ever been to. There are piles of merchandise just... everywhere. Boxes of stuff parked in the middle of aisles made it impossible to get around. Target is usually a relaxing experience, but this place is nuts. I have no idea what is going on here, but I will not be returning. read more

Two stars for a Target is like saying that unicorns ran through downtown Boston with naked guys chasing them, all while being photographed by bystanders wearing togas. In other words, it is just unheard of. I remember when this location opened (about 8-10 years ago?) and I would zoom up early on a Sunday morning from Brighton and load up the car (long before the Watertown store) and it was fabulous then. Fast forward to now - and for the Yelpers who posted just before me - something has happened. Target, what happened????? Totally underwhelmed (is that a word?) by each section I was in, starting with the band-aids I was looking for (this is a BASIC item, yet they seemed to be running low) to socks. Please, this is a Target store. Yes, it's a nice one. It has food. It has nice selections. It's also being "downsized" from the sounds of the employees and management. Stuff they have is okie, and it's inexpensive... but nothing to go out of your way for. Bottom line: If you give this five stars, you need to get out more - or are a Target employee. read more

2 words... Target Mecca. This place is amazing. Everyone knows Target of course, it is the "Cool" Kmart. This location takes the cake. If you have been to the Slumerville or to Watertown location you have been to the Target on the "other side of the tracks." (not that the prices are worse) This store as a concept... Imagine a website come to life. For example, Furniture, everything from really crappy, yet functional MDF the whole way to solid wood furniture. Lots of selection in each category in between. They also have tons of cash registers and *gasp* they actually have the employees to man them! I have never had to wait more than a few minutes. Mix all the glories of a great Target with easy access (right off 93) and more than ample parking and you have a solid shopping experience! read more

Really poorly managed. There were no carts available and the staff member collecting them from the parking lot only brought in four at a time. There were lines of stuffed carts all over the store. One of Target's original drawing points was no overhead announcements or piped in music. This one has both and the assault of sounds in the electronics department drove me away. The checkout line was not monitored at all resulting in guests inadvertently cutting in line while others waited at the sign saying an associate would direct shoppers to the next available line...but there was no associate there. They had all the products I needed but so does the dollar store. The shopping experience was about the same. Maybe this is a good store for curb-side pickup because there were lots of associates around picking from the shelves but the in-store shopping left a lot to be desired. read more

I went to this target last week. Their "security" a girl who had blonde hair in pigtails that looks like she hasn't showered in days who looked very unprofessional had the nerve to judge and follow me and my niece because we were colored. I went off on her and was sure to let her manger know. She pretended to do a safety walk while picking up nothing from the floor while gawking at us. Doing circles around us. When I called her out she was appalled trying to play off. Scrutinized while shopping...disgusting. One thing about me I will call out every Racist worker. How dare her. White people shopping around me did she look at them no she didn't. And I stopped in my tracks to watch her because I couldn't believe what was happening. I am always a fan of the store- So today my experience was far different. This store did not have a single hand sanitizer location, area with cleaning wipes, or any attempt at social distancing. I was at the courtesy booth and there were no hand sanitizer or wipes there. In addition, the self check out line had 30 people in it and everyone was standing next to one another. There were no roped off area is like in the supermarkets for distancing. I was uncomfortable continuing to shop once I made my pick up, due to the seemingly disregard for both sanitation and distancing. read more

This is my Target. This is the one I go to most often. I like it - they have most everything you're looking for. Staff is fine - I've returned stuff and it's quick + painless. They recently moved stuff around, which is a pain - cause then you have to re-find all the areas you had memorized before. Today (5/20), the Pharmacy employees were extremely rude to me. Firstly, the young brunette with a ponytail asked me what I wanted from 15 feet away. She had a hard time understanding what I was saying and made me repeat... while remaining 15 feet away. I don't know about you, but I don't enjoy shouting my medical needs to the whole store. Then, the old woman with blonde curly hair, presumably the pharmacist, was very impolite and she answered me scornfully without walking toward me. Not coming there ever again. read more

I loyally shopped here about once a week, dropping at least $200 per trip with groceries, clothing and healthy snack purchases. In the year that I have shopped there, I have returned one item (a mirror that had a frame that fell apart before I even got it out of the packaging) with no problem. My husband just purchased a bike from there 2 days ago. He was told by a staff member onsite that the only model they had for the bike he wanted was the pre-assembled one they had on the floor. He was assured by the staff member that if anything was wrong with it, he could return it within 90 days with the receipt for a refund. We purchased the bike and asked two staff members behind the counter at guest services whether they offer an extended warranty on bikes, to which two more team members replied, "No, but if there's anything wrong with it you can bring it back within 90 days, so long as you have your receipt to either get it repaired for free or return it if it's defective." We confidently left the store. Well, 2 days passed and my husband rode the bike for the very first time to work. He noticed the bike was not properly aligned and the back tire is bouncing. We attempted to return it with the receipt and price tag still on it and they now are telling us that's not their policy - you can't return "used" items (one bike ride to discover the item is faulty?!). I told the manager, Nicole, that 3 employees gave us the wrong information and told us we would be able to return the bike if there were any problems with it. She just said, "I'm sorry they gave you the wrong info, but that's not our policy" - if they're not familiar with company policy, do you expect your customers to be psychic to know that what they were telling us was not accurate? They are currently attempting to fix the bike, we've spoken with several guest relations people over the phone, as well as the store, and they continue to tell us, "Sorry our employees gave you the wrong info - but you can't get a refund." So ridiculous. I'm done with Target because of this. If they're willing to lose a customer who forks out $200 a week at their store over this, forget them. As much as I hate Walmart, I've never had a problem with their customer service or guest relations giving me my money back on an item that is defective. Beware!! Update: Waited nearly a month for them to repair the bike; they said they were in the process of ordering a new part. We spoke with a different floor manager who said since it was taking so long, perhaps we could just take the newly assembled bike on the display floor. Surprise, surprise - it ended up being the bike we purchased with the bouncing tire to begin with, put back out on the store display for some other poor shlub to purchase for the holiday season! They weren't waiting on a "new part," as the repairmen kept telling us week after week - they were waiting for a replacement bike! Would have been so much easier to refund our money to begin with, which is what the nice floor manager finally ended up doing. It's just a matter of who you talk to - one manager may prove understanding while the other (i.e. Nicole) acts as if it comes straight out of their own pocket. read more

I'm really surprised to read so many reviews saying this Target is clean. As a woman in her mid-to-late 20's, I've seen my fair share of the inside of a wide variety of Targets. And this one is at the top of my no-thanks list. While using the fitting rooms, I picked one of the family sized ones to give me a little extra room. As soon as I shut the door, I was overcome by a stench that can only be described as.. an outhouse. I looked around real quick and didn't see anything at first, but upon closer inspection I noticed the seat in the corner had a discolored stain under it.. and.. well the side of the seat was wet. I can only come into the conclusion that it was urine. The bathroom was in a similar state of disarray and urine in places it shouldn't have been. Aka - not in the toilet. There was toilet paper strewn on the ground which could only be described as "not clean." I left without buying anything, no and thank you. read more

Can be very expensive, if you are not careful. My Dad was getting his breakfast cereal there because it was very inexpensive the 1st time he bought it there. After a while, though, he realized that sometimes it was almost twice as expensive. They were changing the price up and down randomly. Because he found it on a low day, he just started buying it there. He ended up paying more in the long run. But if you are willing to do careful price checks it can be good value. Also everyone I know who shops there comes out with twice as much as they intended to spend. (Including me, so I rarely go to Targets unless I have to and have a list) read more

I chose a bad shopping cart, and filled it to the brim. I got $287.23 worth of crap. This is hardly surprising, I usually spend way too much money at Target. This time nothing was for me! My boyfriends brother was moving this weekend, and cause I was helping, and due to his constant level of helplessness, I found myself here at 10:07pm, Nothin like a Saturday night at target, that's what I always say... This was my first time at Target with a shopping list. It didn't make things any easier. I was there for AGES it seemed. I didn't hear any announcements for the store to be closing soon, I checked my watch when I left, 10:52pm. Whoa. Time stands still at Target- or it felt like it did anyways... This place is massive. Almost overwhelmingly so. But I guess without many other options right down the street, this place does double, or triple duty as department store, pharmacy, and grocery store. read more

Compared to other Targets in the area, this one certainly rocks. I am so in loved with this place that I mustered up all my strength after a morning of getting my wisdom teeth out and drove myself over to this location only to nearly faint. I ended up sitting by the side of the store slowly drinking some teas. See? I risked my health for this place. Why? Because you can get the best deals on the 50%-75% sales racks that hasn't been picked apart like some other locations. I took my sister here before her first real job and got her professional-looking cardigans in pretty colors, black modern work pants, a lovely A-line skirt. And everything was about $50. It's a Target - not all that different than any of the other ones. Except in my experience this one tends to be a little better kept. One of my biggest complaints about large super stores such as these is when there are clothes thrown in the aisles and stuff lying all about blocking your cart path. I have never experience that at this store - and so for that... it gets an extra star. Oh, and it had one pair of Missoni shoes in my size left over a few days after the Missoni-craziness so I have to give kudos to that. Lost one star because I swear every single cart they have is either broken or beyond loud. I have never found a fully functioning cart at this location that doesn't also squeak like I'm committing mass murder to a thousand mice. read more

This is my new favorite Target store. I started going here frequently in the past few months and find it to be easier to navigate, always stocked, clean and the associates are always helpful. This one has a huge parking lot and is convenient to 93. The electronics and books section are huge compared to other stores, the baby section is also giant, as is many of the sections. There is also a full food court at this location. read more

I don't frequent this Target anymore as I now live on the South Shore, but my old roommate and I LOVE this Target. I live even closer to a Super Target now (and it's newer and cleaner, yay for me!) but as far as North Shore locations go, this one takes the cake! They don't have a Starbucks inside like many of the newer or renovated stores, but fear not, there is one in the plaza right next to Target so you don't have to go without your caffeine fix. This one was renovated a while ago and now has the expanded grocery selection, with fruit, produce, meat, etc. The parking lot seems to always be pretty crowded (during my tenure of being laid off, it was decently crowded no matter what day or time I went), but you can always find a space. You might to have walk a bit, but exercise is good for you! They always have a ton of clearance items, a big shoe section, and good selection of workout gear. And I've never had to wait a long time to check out, the cashiers all appear to be pretty efficient. If I didn't have the Hanover Target close by to me I think I would be in mourning for this store :) read more

This is definitely a HUGE, Target with EVERYTHING. A portrait studio? Yes. Full Kodak photo area? Yes. Full grocery section? Yes. Pharmacy? Yes. SELF CHECKOUT? YES! Café & Starbucks? Yes & Yes. Wow. Comparable to only one other Target I've been to, but this one is by far the largest. The normal location I go to is great, and smaller (which works out well sometimes and bad other times), but what really separates this store out from the others is that, it's extremely convenient location as well as the layout of the store (and self checkout!!!!). It's Exit 37C off I-93 or Exit 36 off I-95 / US Rt. 128. Either way works. Plus, the parking lot is huge, and the store has 2 entrances. The stores layout is great, just like some of the other locations I've been to, and everything is where I expected. There were many staff members on the floor, as well as many working price scanners. Did I mention how this location has SELF CHECKOUT? I love self checkout. It's fast, friendly, and fun. AND this Target has it! (Wish they'd put that in all of their stores) Overall, great Target store, that had everything I needed and was an extremely friendly store. Would return. 5 stars. read more

Much superior to the Watertown version, this Target is clean, well organized and laid out in a logical, clear way. Sales help is friendly and seems to understand the products on the shelves. This store also has the Greatland grocery store inside and there are some very good bargains to be had there (I specifically want to note the nutritional bars and drinks which are priced even lower than Wal-Marts in the area). There are a lot of pluses to this store. In the grocery area the shelves feature a lot of the better-name national brands. The store brand items are generally of very good quality too. Out in the clothing and soft goods areas prices are lower than most other department stores and clearance items are sharply discounted the way clearance stock should be. And, I've never seen so many registers in any store around here - there's never a line at the checkout. Quality and selection exceed most other big-box stores on a regular basis. Rarely do I find large crowds here and, which that's not good for business it makes the shopping experience a lot nicer. Overall, this is a pretty good store. I'd drive out of my way to go here. I hate to rip the whole store, but the eyeglasses department is awful and this is the only forum I can find. I went to the optometrist and was fairly certain that I was misquoted. She asked for more money than that which I understood before I had my eyes examined. I suspected that it was bait-and-switch. However, I paid her and moved on. My daughter went there months after me and then described a very similar scenario. So now I am fairly sure that the optometrist is a liar. read more

This is one of my favorite Target stores. The store itself is clean, the staff is courteous, and there's usually plenty of stock so I often find what I'm looking for. Getting into the plaza itself is a little bit of a hassle, but once you're in there's plenty of parking. The grocery area is also nice and clean! Shopping-wise it's in a decent location (Kohls is just up the road, Gamestop and Petco nearby as well), but it's not overcrowded. I also love how it's RIGHT THERE when you get off the highway. I'm in and out in a blink! At least, I would be if I wasn't so distracted combing through their giant stock... read more
