This isn't the best or the biggest that I've seen by any means, but it serves the area well for basic sporting good needs. They have items for golf, outdoors, running, baseball, biking (small section) and other activities, as well as lots of clothing from top brands and their own brand. What I didn't like about this was there was no real local "Team" section. Usually, in a sports city, there's a section that has displays of local colleges, pro teams, and other stuff. This one just had racks here and there. Maybe I was there off season or something, but would have liked more of a display paying homage to local sports. read more

This is one of the biggest DICK's I've been to. Many selections to choose from everyday footwear, active gear and outdoor sports equipment. I can easily spend hours here scanning the racks. I came specifically for walking shoes on my last trip here. I must have tried on at least a dozen pairs before I finally decided on a pair of Brooks Ghost Max 3. I'm constantly on my feet so investing in a good pair of shoes to fit my active lifestyle is a must. If you're on the hunt for quality sneakers , come here. Dick's is a terrible deceptive bait and switch company who will never see another one of my dollar. I purchased 2 pairs of Hoka shoes and I was told at the time of purchase that I had 90 days to return the. Turns out after a few weeks I attempted to return the shoes because as comfortable as they were they offered little support. The first? Dick's asked me was did I wear the shoes outside at any point. Turns out the only way Dick's will honor the 90 day return policy is if you only wear the shoes insid. If this is not bait and switch I don't know what is. Don't shop there unless you intend to never wear your running shoes outside. The shoes I attempted to return were in pristine condition. How they got around to refunding my $ was by pointing out the soles were slightly dirty. Large, clean and lots of stock in this box store. If you're into anything sporty or outdoors, you'll find something here. Prices are a touch high comparative to online competition, but the ability to see it in person can't be discounted for some. They do have seasonal sales which brings prices down a fair amount. They also have a semi annual clearance. They have one main register bay that is on the side leading into the mall. There is usually only one cashier, but there isn't usually a line, so no biggie. Do not purchase their scam insurance product. I purchased the insurance for a pair of swim goggles and submitted a claim 3 months later. The claim was denied even though the uploaded picture clearly showed the frame snapped. I called and got a Philippine call center who re submitted the claim which was denied again because they said I dropped the goggles. I did not drop the goggles. I submitted the claim for the third time and it is not going to be paid. Their outsourced call center is little more than a claim denial operation. I can't believe they are selling this insurance product to consumers. It must be pure profit for them. This will end my relationship with Dicks. What an awful group! read more

Weather is professional, collegiate apparel that you're looking for, they have it. All kinds of golf, baseball, softball, and all of your sporting goods available here. I recently found out that I need to have my grips on my golf clubs redone. Looks like they're going to get my business. I'll be using this location for lots of sporting goods needs in the future. I bought a 2023 Sole F80 treadmill on August 8 from this store and paid for the added delivery and installation. They say they work with an outside company to deliver the treadmill. I told them since I'm pregnant I am working up until my maternity leave and therefore can't use any PTO (i wanted a treadmill to continue walking during my third trimester since it's been so hot outside), so I can only really have the treadmill delivered Fridays at 1 or later, or on the weekends. They say it shouldn't be a problem. However, the technician has proceeded to cancel on me 3 separate times (2 times for Friday, 1 time for Sunday) after setting a date and having me confirm. He also kept trying to get me to accept Tuesdays (my 10 hour workday shift) and would ask the same day more than once after I told him that's my busiest workday. Now it's been a whole week and I heard nothing from anyone, so I called Dick's and the delivering company, and the lady says, "the technician will send you a text for confirmation after I give him the dates and times you can do." Well another 5 or so days have gone by and I've received nothing- I'm 2 weeks away from delivering and therefore won't be able to use the treadmill anyway for 6-8 weeks, so this whole month of waiting has been really for nothing. I plan on going back to Dick's and asking for a refund since apparently I'm not getting the treadmill unless it's on the technician's time (aka. During working hours). read more

I've always had good experiences here but what made me write a review is the friendly service I received when I ordered a boxing punching bag/stand for pickup. I *greatly* under estimated just how big it would be and the employee was so helpful in assisting me. I stopped in looking for Body Glide for my boyfriend after I couldn't find it at the Sports Authority across the street. Unfortunately for my wallet I found a whole lot more... I'm an Under Armour addict and they have a beautiful collection of sports wear and shoes. There was also an impressive section of Orlando City gear! There's also tons of outdoor gear and a section devoted to all types of shoes you may be looking for. I'd be surprised if you couldn't find what you were looking for here. Though Dick's Sporting Goods is a big box chain store, each store definitely has its own personality! The store near the Fashion Square Mall is fairly new, but is super friendly and helpful!!! They are a great resource for youth sports; including having various discounts on purchases. The staff is very professional and full of information. We will surely shop there again!!! read more

Whisper your quip to your shopping partner but probably not to the cashier. Moving on... It really is a nice store. Recently built it is still well organized and efficiently staffed. I was really impressed by the shoe department. They have great selection and knowledgeable team members that could detail the differences between one type of shoe vs the other. They were helpful and patient, even with a number of customers asking for sizes. Overall, we will come back next time we need some sporting goods. I especially love the selection of fashionable women's athletic attire. But it is on the pricery side so I try to limit my spending on that here. read more

I bought a pair of Nike's online for a store pickup. My order was ready in a hour and I was notified right away that it was ready for pick up. Everything was great. Today I went to wrap them and when I took the shoes out of the box to admire them, they still had a security tag on it! Customer service was great, and that's the only reason I'm giving this place three stars. They even offered for a staff member to drive over to my house to remove the security tag. I said no, of course. But they will be giving me a gift cert for my inconvenience. If everything works out the way CS said it would, I'll be amending the review. read more

Second time I had accumulated decent purchases only to put back or drop on counter by registers because cashiers were too busy either yucking up with other customers or jaw boning with bargain hunters over coupons or trying to get credit applications filled out. Bought a bike through their website which offers free assembly. When dropping it off they estimated 7-10 days to assemble so I said no thanks I'll do it myself. The manager mentioned any warranty would be void if I did that, so obviously I said ok and waited. I called on day 8 to check on it and they said sorry it would be another week or so. Two weeks to assemble a beach cruiser is absurd to me! Won't be coming back. read more

I have gone in 6 times all together to deal with a situation involving the Restringing job on my tennis racquet. The first time was to restring my tennis racquet for the first time ever. They completely botched it up and within the next 3 weeks the strings snapped. Then after going into the store to pay full price again to have my strings restrung, they completely botched up the job again. Then to top it all off, They would not give me a full refund when I went back to just get my money back because I could not stand having my racquet messed up for a third time. At first they told me to come in for a full refund over the phone but when I arrived, they then changed their minds and said I would not receive a full refund. That's ridiculous considering they botched up my service after I paid full price on TWO different occasions within 1 month. The service was awful and the costumer service given so far is awful. Because of this Ridiculous experience, I see no reason to ever go back to any dicks again. No more dicks for me. read more
