Pretty shady business practices if not outright incompetence. I left choosing not to argue. Won't be back If you are selling something and they make an offer, make them write it down, it might keep them honest.

Truly disgusted by the way we were treated by Champs at the Brass Mill Mall. I came in here with my…read moremother and attempted to buy new sneakers for the gym/running. I told the male worker several times that I just wanted the sneaker and nothing else. My mother also told the male worker the same thing, that we were short on time and just needed the sneaker and not the additional merchandise that he was trying to sell us. He still tried desperately tried approximately 3-5 times. At this point he clearly became upset that we refused the additional merchandise that he kept trying to sell. We left the store and told him Thank You. I guess these workers are trained to be rude and unprofessional when people refuse to buy their un-needed and unasked merchandise we will not be returning to this location. He lost a sale by being too pushy.

Shoes came, tried them on and none of them worked. Went into the store to do a return and exchange a pair. They had the pair I wanted that was released that day which worked fine. With the other 3 shoes the Rep- possibly the manager..... wouldn't return them and only offered to mail them back to the .com. Odd I thought.... as it's credit transaction it's not as if the need to refund me cash. So I sent them back via ups. Manager of Rep, made comment about why I would buy sho s without knowing they fit....?! My response was that's why I bought from footlocker so I could try them at home and if they didn't work make the easy return into the store. Well in that same order 1 of the sneakers was mailed separate and came 3 days later. Tried them on didn't like them. Went to return this 1 pair. Was told they can't return them in store, I said it's a credit transaction not cash. Still refused.....

What an amazing first experience! For years I've been wanting to try this place out and we finally…read moredid. We rented paddle boards for a great fee. They gave great information upon booking the reservation on the phone. Parking was very easy but depending what time you go I'd go sooner for parking! The women who checked us in was very sweet. She explained everything to us. She told us where to go and how to stay safe. The man who got us on the boards was equally as nice. He gave us a quick course on how to use the boards. The boards were much easy than I thought. I felt secure and got the hang of it pretty quickly. We paddled to an amazing area with a waterfall and past some beautiful houses and shoreline. I loved that you could kneel , lay , stand and just float in the water. It was definitely a fun day and I can't wait to do it again.

They've got an informative video if you're unfamiliar with the area and they're always happy to give you pointers. Sign up is easy. Equipment is clean and in good condition. The other folks out on the water are always so nice as well helping one another out with pictures...it's a great clientele. Do yourself a favor and go out and enjoy all that is summertime!

There is also pavilions you can rent for parties, picnic areas you can use for your gatherings, corn hole games, volleyball courts and a ball field. Overall great place for escaping the hum drum of the city. Great for nature walks with the kids where you can visit the vernal pools and if lucky see a hawk or an eagle flying in the area above.

We arrived late afternoon, so didn't get to explore a whole lot, but it seemed that there were some trails to explore. There are paved roads and walkways for biking also. Note, there is no power and no open bathrooms since power has not been restored. Only a few (?2) port a potties are available.
