This store, which is not free standing, but attached to the rest of the stores in this also excellent mall, takes up an entire side of the mall by itself. For whatever outdoor pursuit you may want to engage in, with the possible exception of certain sports like golf, soccer, football and baseball, tennis, etc., this location has it. If you need sports gear for the sports I just listed, this mall has a large and well stocked Dick's Sporting Goods. This Bass Pro Shops store has camping gear, fishing gear, actual boats and motors, clothing and footwear for men, women and children. The variety of goods on offer within each of the categories on display is also quite large, allowing the shopper a wide selection to choose from. As I browsed through this store, I came across several incredibly helpful store associates who seemed genuinely happy to be there and offered any help I might have needed. I am hearing impaired and when I told each of the associates I came in contact with, they were very considerate and even more helpful. They are truly a credit to this company. Unfortunately for me, where I live in NJ, we don't have any Bass Pro Shops stores or their sister store Cabela's near to where I live. However, I'm moving to the Rapid City, SD area in 2027 and they have a large Bass Pro Shops store that I plan to patronize. In conclusion, if you can't find what you think you may need in this particular Bass Pro Shops store, then in all reality, you probably don't really need it. Alternatively, perhaps it doesn't exist. In any case, this store should be able to fulfill 99% of people's outdoor needs.

Upon going to the jackets / coat area, another employee walked up & spoke to me. He was super knowledgeable about Patagonia, The North Face, Mountain Hardwear & a few other brands. I mean, the guy was rattling off facts, pros & cons like he was the spec sheet! He answered any & every question I had, even walked around trying to find other jackets that fit my need. While I didn't purchase a jacket (unfortunately, the price was way too high & I found one online for 50% off their price), I felt more confident about buying the Patagonia one after talking to the employee. As Chad said, there weren't too many people in the store when I was there either. However, it was 3:30 PM on a weekday. Perhaps they're busier on the weekends. They do have you covered as gear is concerned - just like the name implies: Sun & Ski. Hehe. Coats, jackets, ski wear, skis, footwear. John pointed out & I agree, their sales & clearance racks had some nice stuff on it & in bigger sizes, too. Racks & displays are neat & organized & items priced. I'm not too big into the outdoors, so unfortunately, this won't be a regular shopping stop for me.
