He was helped pretty quickly and I was also approached to see if I needed help- They just get it here. I came here looking for a sports bra- they were so helpful as I needed some extra assistance bringing me a different bra to try- they figured out the perfect size for me and I left very satisfied! Diane was a gem! She made me feel like home, so much so that when my baby wanted to just crawl around and check out the mirrors, she encouraged me to just let him go and be- it was safe. I have purchased nearly 100 items from the Birkdale Village store or thru online since 2000. Why would I pay twice as much compared to similar wear. Quality Looks Color Options and customer service until this week. Store manager was extremely rude, not accommodating, and major attitude. Has two City Sweat shirts that I had no receipts, hang tags, and had washed once. In the past, if I had any issue with any item, I took to store and they allowed me to exchange for a different item. Manager stated that has never been their policy (which could be accurate) but has never been enforced in last 4 years. Willing to pay twice what a similar item made by Nike, Carhart, REI .... Last Lulu item I will purchase. I will buy Free Fly, Orvis, or similar high quality clothing but no more LuLu. read more

Save your time and energy and go to the Lululemon in the SouthPark mall. (They have a MUCH better vibe, are way more helpful and they have a lot more in stock.) The Birkdale location has a very toxic "mean girls" energy. I have been to the store multiple times, hoping each time that they were just having an off day. But every time it was the same unhelpful, snarky, and negative experience. Looking at other reviews it seems this has been a multiyear issue since this store opened. Lululemon products and quality are excellent with no true comparison so as a brand I wholly recommend, but this store does not represent the Lululemon brand the way it should be represented. read more

Tremendously helpful and friendly staff that made this one of the most seamless shopping experiences I've had. Full transparency, shopping for clothes can be a bit intimating for me because of the seemingly overwhelming number of options and the fact I generally don't do a lot of in-person shopping. That said, we were immediately greeted upon entering and the staff took the time to listen and provide suggestions. It was also helpful that they even checked up on me in the fitting area and offered to grab additional sizes/styles without me scrambling to grab more options from the clothing rack. Being in the northern part of the Charlotte area, it's great to have lululemon in Birkdale. While the space isn't quite as big as South Park Mall's location, it still packs in a lot of product & friendly staff. Beautiful dark woods & antique looking frames (name plates on dressing rooms & large, framed mirror by the dressing rooms) look lovely in the store. There's a lot of product in neat cubbies & they use the tops of the cubbies for bags & water bottles. The staff there are friendly & welcoming. They're "dressed to the nines" in their lululemon gear & you can tell that they all are into exercising & keeping fit. If you're aware of the brand, you know they're pretty pricey. However, their product does wear well & holds up wash after wash. They offer free in-store yoga every Saturday & a free running group during the week. read more

Don't waste your time with this location. Only one person working there was nice to me the 3 times I was in the store. One lady had no idea what she was doing (she told me my order was supposed to be picked up within 24 hours before even checking to see what kind of pickup I had). They will NOT pick up the phone, so if you have a question don't bother calling. You'll have to drive all the way there to ask. And good luck getting an answer. read more

I am thoroughly impressed with Lulu Lemon. I've avoided the place for a while now simply because of the outrageous prices. Yes, let's fess up, the prices are outrageous. I've been told more than once by a friend of mine that they don't want to pay $70 for a pair of yoga shorts that are just gonna get dirty and sweaty. That said, here's my review. I started off slow with Lulu Lemon. First off, I had just heard they set up shop in Birkdale so I had to stop in just because. Also, I'm a regular runner these days so I thought why not check out some more fashionable workout wear? I went in, looked around and was pretty well impressed with the style and options. If you're the kinda guy or girl that likes to spend most of your day in comfy athletic gear, this is a place you'd probably want to frequent. However, as I said, I started off slow. I was impressed with their "silver" line. They weave silver thread through all manner of clothing to help cut down on microbes and their respective odors. I bought a pair of socks ($18) with this technology. They are excellent for running. Keep your feet cool, dry and comfy. I now have 3 pair. Yes, I agree the price is high but I also feel it's worth it. I decided to graduate to a nice pair of shorts next. I was pretty impressed with the Surge shorts and the Pacebreaker shorts. I settled on the Pacebreaker H2O because it was pitched as an "everything" short. Studio (yoga), gym and beach ready. I liked the concept and I think they would make great swimming trunks, but they ended up being horrible for running and for yoga. Of all things, yoga. That's right, even with the neat little Lulu Lemon logo on them, they did not excel at doing what the brand is known best for. They bound up in the legs making it difficult to really get that true stretch. So, I got in contact with their customer service folks and shared my thoughts. They were stellar, to say the least. Despite me having trial tested them, they took the shorts back and I switched to the Surge shorts which are shorter and not at all binding. I suspect they will be perfect for running and yoga and could even be used at the beach in times of need. The point in me writing this long winded review is that while I'm not a huge fan of the prices at Lulu Lemon, I am happy to find that the quality and the service are a reflection of that pricing. I would tell anyone, even the hesitant folks, to give it a try. You may be as impressed as I was. read more

Lululemon is perfect for Birkdale. I was lucky to catch a yoga session there with April, who rocked. She wasn't feeling good but she managed to give a great vinyasa yoga and laugh with everyone. After doing therapeutic and gentle yoga all week, this was a wild card yoga session. The Vinyasa flow was for all levels and very energetic. It was nice to go fast and get a little twisted. My favorite part was when April put out the intention that we would all have a joyful yoga workout. What a great way to start yoga. Afterwards , she gave me some helpful ideas. Overall, I had a fun day shopping and doing yoga at Lululemon. read more

The store is okay in size and the location in Birkdale certainly cannot be beaten, but it just has a really 'off'' vibe to me when I go in there. I've pretty much given up on buying anything at Lululemon and have moved to Athleta. Yes, I have to go to SouthPark, but life goes on. At least I've never had to put up with comments from a random guy on how something looks on me in Athleta! When I am buying form fitting athletic wear, I really don't want the up and down from a males salesperson. Yes, I know they have options for the guys there and they need some men on staff, but seriously...I should NOT have to ask that a woman help me adjust something or give me feedback on appearance!! It is just totally inappropriate to me to have a guy tell me that something might be loose in the pelvic area and consider another size. I did NOT ask your opinion and DO NOT want it. The clothes are well made. The clothes are stylish. The clothes are comfortable. But if I want to have someone examining me head to toe I will either go to the doctor or a dive bar. read more

She also accused me of drying the sweatshirt which we all know is a no-no with Lulu.
