Nick flushed my tankless water heater, installed a dehumidifier to the furnace, and cleaned the inside of the furnace. For this last job, he had to take out several parts to get to the back of the furnace. It looks much better and the cleaning reduced the energy wastage by 10 degrees. The appointment was scheduled months in advance for Nov 28. In the morning of Nov 28, Andrew, one of their customer "service" reps called and said Nick had a medical emergency, and would come the next day. I had a strong feeling that he is lying. So when Nick arrived the next day, I asked him about his emergency. He said that a job that was supposed to last three days, extended to four days, and now to five days. He said he'd have to go back to it on Nov 30. My suspicion was conformed. Why a company like Aire Serv hires a liar for a service rep beggars belief. Andrew's tone was disturbing. It was arrogant, yet playful. He even repeated the lie. It seemed like he was playing a game of I am lying and you don't even know it. He seemed to enjoy a certain level of "power" in inflicting dishonesty on a total stranger. Both our heating and AC units were 15 years old. He gave us variable prices, but we were sold on how reasonably priced it was for both units to be replaced. Today two installers came out, Tim Ross and Andrew and replaced both units under 6 hours. It should have taken them about 8, but they worked great as a team and Tim always kept me in the loop. They cleaned up afterwards and left my house spotless, you would have never known that we had major work completed. They tested the heat, even on a summer day, then help setup the AC with the new thermostat that they installed. So, I can understand that I needed to try to pick a time interval to be available rather than a time, okay. I gave them some stars for working with me and being professional for the in-person estimate itself. I was then told that I would receive an estimate over the phone in the same day some hours later. I requested by e-mail instead and was told that this was fine. During a time period of two weeks and two days after that, I had made three phone calls. I left voice mails twice and got through one time, the 2nd time I believe. I was told that the estimate was mixed up with something else and that it would be coming out. I'm not sure if they want to work with me or not, but at least it would be nice to let me know that instead of running me around. For potentially big jobs, my reasonable concern of not being able to receive an estimate by e-mail (or snail mail physical copy) makes me feel like there would be a he-said-she-said dynamic if I went for this. For smaller jobs, it isn't such a big loss and they seem like they do good work from the other reviews and my interaction with the attendant during the estimate. They may not be the most pronounced with their words, but I was willing to consider them with the other good reviews and them being local to me. With the lack of an estimate by e-mail, it made me wonder if the company or someone in the company has a PA license number. I would like to presume yes, but I couldn't find one personally based on company name. I know the search engine isn't the best if you don't have the actual license number to look up. If there are any updates/changes to this review or if it's proper for me to write another review as I can't update this one after about a month, then I will do so. I've strongly considered and tried to rate my experience as fairly as possible, and I really feel that Sunny's services could've done much better with their interactions in working with me after the estimate was completed.

I hired Roto-Rooter to clear a blocked sewer line. After approximately 55 minutes, they told me the…read moreline was "collapsed" and could not be mechanically cleaned, then presented me with a sewer replacement estimate of approximately $10,000, urging me to proceed. Instead, I sought a second opinion. The very next day, another licensed plumbing contractor used heavier-duty sewer equipment and mechanically cleared the same line in less than 10 minutes. The sewer then functioned normally for approximately one week until I chose to replace the line because of existing root intrusion--not because it was collapsed. Based on my experience, the diagnosis and recommendation I received from Roto-Rooter proved to be inaccurate. I paid for a sewer line clearing that was never accomplished, yet was immediately steered toward a costly replacement. Consumers should obtain a second opinion before authorizing expensive sewer replacement work based solely on an initial diagnosis.

The service tech Ben was more concerned with me having one car in my driveway and another being parked in front of my house that was a loaner or my mom. There was no pipe collapsed as he noted and I was not provided the video evidence showing that. All I knew, being in my home for only two months is that water was backing up in my basement and after taking a shower or flushing the toilet, the water in the basement had to be removed from the basement sink one bucket at a time. When cleaning the pipe, Ben only removed some old fabric softener sheets. I was able to flush and run shower not seeing any water at that moment, but he noted it still was not fixed telling me to look at how low the water was in the pipe...later I found out that this is the same even after their thousands of dollars repair. I didn't know what to do and no where to turn. He actually said you cant have one issue without the other even though I saw no collapse pipe. Young and dumb...listening to a professional I thought because I did not know. During the entire pipe line replacement, no one communicated with me. If water would be turned off, turned back on, what I should do afterwards, nothing. It appears this company has a record of steering single women the wrong way for their own benefit. I'm glad the three other women I've seen that had similar experiences had a father or male figure to turn to avoid this. I would not recommend for women.
