If I could give ZERO STARS I would!! The WORST massage experience I have ever had in my entire life. And I frequently visit spas. This "spa" is a joke! Veryyy unprofessional & tacky to say the least. The massage room is furnished by the local dollar tree with poor lighting and massage beds with old sheets and blankets on it. My massage wasn't great and the guy made me feel beyond uncomfortable. Upon walking out from the massage the guy says to me, "don't forget to take care of me and tip!" Ummm excuse me?? Then the receptionist 1 minute later asks me, "did you take care of your therapist?" I said, "take care of him as in ..?" She goes, "tip them" so I said, "no not yet my boyfriend went to get his wallet from the car". Then she proceeds to hand me 2 tip envelopes and asks me if I want to hear about their specials while I wait. NO THANKS! I actually forgot to mention they have signs plastered in every single room and empty wall space all over that hole in a wall "spa" that reads : ALL SERVICES ARE NON TAXABLE. FOR ALL ONE HOUR SERVICES THE SUGGESTED GRATUITY IS $20.00 PER THERAPIST. Soooo tacky, tasteless & classless. I wouldn't even come back here if they paid me!! read more

I received a gift of a Groupon for a 2-hour spa treatment and it was nearly perfect. When I called to schedule my facial and massage, I found out that I would also be getting a Reflexology treatment. Being that I am ultra ticklish, I let the owner know that I was apprehensive about the foot massage and, generously, she instead extended the time for the facial, and replaced the reflexology with a Keratin treatment on my hands and feet. Both of these treatments were relaxing, pampering, and heavenly. She also gave a very good facial. My masseuse, Adrianna, gave a terrific massage; the best that I have ever gotten. It was balanced, comprehensive, and I don't think I have ever had such a collaborative massage experience. Meaning, the massage was made even better as Adrianna instructed me to breathe deeply so she could massage deeper. Also heavenly! I am glad to say that, in spite of so many other, negative reviews, I have nothing bad to say of my experience and, in fact, took advantage of the new client offer and bought two more treatments. read more

Absolutely useless massage and terrible customer service. Even if I was given a voucher to go there for free, I wouldn't go again. Throughout the entire "massage" if it could be called that, the lead "masseuse" complained that because my back was muscular that I should pay more since my girlfriend and I came in with a groupon coupon. What should have been a romantic experience ended up being an hour of complaining from the masseuse. I would have been happy to pay more (and frequently do) for a good massage. The manager was equally unhelpful and appeared to express her agreement that customers who use their promotions should receive an inferior service. read more

It's a huge disappointment to say the very least in so many ways that will be increasingly more evident to you as the minutes tick by. Also, during your massage, don't expect to enjoy it or relax because they'll constantly be trying to sell you additional services instead of focusing on properly executing what you already selected & paid for! I'm all for suggestions, but let that be mentioned only once or twice not during the entire massage! Save it for the end when I'm on my way out! I hate to write this- but I had purchased a 1 hr couples massage for my husband as a Christmas gift. We used it on Saturday. We were very promptly greeted and seated, and asked to fill out a chart of the typical questions- any areas to avoid, what pressure, any injuries ect...I filled that I wanted my massage to be SOFT. I don't think the masseuse even read that part... We were taken into the room and told which beds to lay on. My husband had Mr. Lee. As Mr Lee began working, i heard sounds of pure pain coming from my husband than heard "Oh my, you have very knotty back, very hard, you turtleback". I found this hysterical- didn't help much with the relaxation to hear that but oh well. Meanwhile, the woman who was working on me, who knows her name Es something- kept me in such sever pain, the most thing I'd repeated was OUCH STOP! To which she'd go HARDER and tell me it was due to weight and toxins.... Ummm, thanks, I came here to de-stress and relax not to be told to cleanse and loose weight... Sunday- we woke up- I can barely hold a pencil in my arm it is so sore- my back is bruised and feels like I've literally been hit by a truck. My husband is incredibly sore as well. I'd not recommend this place. I've had massages before and NEVER felt this awful, and when you say OUCH STOP it usually means STOP not go harder. I'm not sure if the masseuses aren't licensed or they just didn't care, but I would never go back. read more

I honestly wanted to like this place but I really just couldn't. I felt like someone would be coming out with a camera crew at any moment saying I was on a hidden camera comedy show. I wasn't greeted by the women who was sitting at the receptionist desk, who I believe was the owner. (She was the one who did my treatments.) No Hello or introduction, which is super strange to me especially being in retail and the hospitality industries my entire life. I had to initiate that I was there for a massage and salt glow treatment, which I basically was dismissed and told to wait. So the actual receptionist came back out from making her lunch and she gave me the paperwork to fill out. When I was done she said "She will be with you soon" as if I should know who "she" is. Someone can use a name so I know who I am dealing with. Anyway the blonde nameless women comes up front and once again barely says a word but motioned for me to follow her. We get to the door of the room and very awkwardly she tells me I should use the bathroom. I said I didn't need to and she gave me a nasty look as if I was doing something wrong and literally pressed the issue that I should use the bathroom before treatment. I think I know if I need to pee, I am not a toddler, Thank you. So we go in the treatment room and she tells me to get ready for my first treatment will be the salt glow...I said I never had this done before so I thought she might let me know a little more information but of course that would require effort on her part and it seemed to be a complete inconvenience that I was there, so I did not get any info. I looked around the room and the decor is a bit ridiculous and the sign stating that all therapist should be tipped no less the $20 per hour of each treatment just turned me off before we even really get started. I will tip based on service, if you treat me right and do your job you will get 20% or more, but don't ever ask me to tip you. So I lay on the table and she comes in and starts putting this stuff on me and then recovers me with the blanket... it was horribly uncomfortable to have a salt scrub on my skin then be covered with a sheet. I never had this done before but I doubt this is how it's done. She says she is going to leave and this needs to be on for 5 minutes then she will be back...well I think it was about 15 minutes or so later that she came back and gave me a robe to put on the showed me to the shower. Well the shower was just lovely... it was running when I got back there to the tiny storage room that it's in... the tiny room was dirty to start off with, then I go to get in the shower and the water is up over my ankles which just grosses me out especially because there were bugs floating in the water!! Seriously! This is supposed to be a relaxing spa experience and I feel more like I am camping showering with bugs! The bugs didn't end there. I quickly rinse and get out of the buggy shower and pick up my robe to see a dead spider in it. So apparently I was wearing a robe with bugs in it and didn't know it til after I got out of the shower. Also aside from the dead spider in my robe, shouldn't I be given a new robe that doesn't have the salt scrub all in it now? Well I'm not and now I'm so freaked out by the bugs in the robe I can't even try to relax for my massage that I am about to get. Well the women does the massage which was also a bit awkward so it was hard to really relax and after the ordeal of the salt glow I am not relaxed to begin with. The massage was ok but not good. When it's done she came back holding a half full cup of water which I wasn't sure if it was for me or her. So she walked me up front and disappeared... I didn't get a "Thank you" or "I hope you enjoyed your treatments"... nothing. So the receptionist then hands me a small envelope that was for a tip... why do I want to tip someone who is so cold and was so bothered by my presence, but I did, and I did not follow their rules of tipping because they did not in any which way live up to any standards of a spa. The receptionist told me that I am eligible for up to 10 massages at a discounted price since I am a new customer but I would have to purchase them at that moment. When I said I am not able to do that at this time she then very rudely made sure I knew I would never be allowed to use a coupon again. I was polite said thank you and left. What I wanted to say was I am sorry my sister wasted $55 on the Groupon that I had asked for at Christmas to come here. If you don't want people to buy the Groupon then stop offering it. You should be using that to hook the people on coming into your spa and wanting to come back. I would have gladly paid full price for another treatment at a later date if this was a nice place to go but I learned my lesson that you get what you pay for. Avoid at all costs! I went back in May for a Groupon deal my sister in law got us for our birthday and it wasn't the nicest spa, but the services were pretty good. They offered a deal to get massages and facials at a discounted rate. I bought a few because it was local and I was trying to support the small business. So last week I went and had a massage, which I did really enjoy. The therapist was great. I was to go back today for a facial, however, I called to reschedule because I am sick. The receptionist kept telling me I was going to be charged $20 because it's the same day cancelation. I explained I am not canceling for fun and I was looking forward to my facial today. She said it's their policy. I said that's (insert curse word) ridiculous. I am trying to be a repeat customer and you're customer service isn't very great. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager would not bend and continued to go on about the $20 cancelation fee. I explained I was trying to reschedule as I am sick and can not make it in today. Do they want me sneezing and coughing all over the therapist's face? She continued to go on and tell me "You're not sick enough if you're arguing with me." I then said I refuse to pay your $20, I refuse to come back and hung up. How is that anyway to get return customers when your customer service is terrible. I will now lose money because I had purchased certificates, but out of principle now, I refuse to go back. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. read more

I have only had great experiences there. I started off with a Groupon, and then bought a package. Their packages are well priced. Its a small cozy place but I'm not expecting the most luxurious fancy place-- I was comfortable and happy with my facials. I haven't tried a massage yet but perhaps I will in the future. I like their late hours on Thursday and Friday because that's the only time I can make it. I only feel bad because the last Friday I made it, I was the last appointment and the aesthetician kept saying how tired she was. I'll have to book in advance and try to make an earlier appointment next time. Everyone I've dealt with there has been super friendly. I purchased a massage from this place using a Amazon local deal. I'm into supporting small business and it wasn't far from home so I figured "Hey, why not?". I scheduled a couple's massage with my girlfriend hoping to make it a special Friday night. As I entered the place I already didn't feel the relaxing vibe you would feel in a spa. Seemed unprofessional and not organized but the show must go on. We went into the private room to undress and proceeded with the massage. The massage itself was decent. The people massaging us did what they had to do. Once it was done and we were getting dressed you could hear all the personal conversations going on by the staff and owner. Things that were inappropriate but did cause me and my girlfriend to catch a few laughs. Once we left we were hit with the full court press to purchase another massage. Being that I found the massage to be satisfactory I caved and purchased a 1 hour hot stone massage for me and my girlfriend to use at a later time. As the weeks went on my girlfriend called to make an appointment and was rejected because we didn't have the certificate they gave us with the purchase. This wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't see the girl input all the information on the computer as to our purchase. I knew our information was stored. I mean I paid with a card after all. My girlfriend asked to speak to the owner Dee. Instead of looking into the information and accommodating a customer who in fact purchased something, Dee felt it was appropriate to scold her on "being more responsible". Fair enough Dee....you run a pretentious "Spa" and need to enroll in some courses which teach you how to properly treat people and run a business. My friend treated me to a day at the spa as a birthday gift. We both went together. Unfortunately, this was the worst spa experience for both of us. First of all, the decor is cheesy to say the least. The massage rooms were hot as hell. The massage was god awful in that the therapist was basically just kind of pounding us instead of massaging us. He talked and bragged about his credentials and rudely made comments about how we were friends considering there was an age difference between us. Then the facials.... I have NO idea what she was doing - she kept walking in and out of the room and just rubbing oils on our faces. The reflexology was terrible and she tried to sell us services the entire time. So I have no idea why people hate this place so much! It was such an amazing experience. After reading Yelp reviews first, I was a little worried when I purchased their Groupon deal (a couples massage for me and Boo's anniversary). I am so glad I went with my gut. We had a great massage! Mr. Lee was my bf's masseuse ( I don't do male masseurs) and I had Jan. We walked in late and they were cool with it. Then filled out forms to tell them about any injuries, health issues and to indicate how hard or soft we wanted the massage. I am small (5'2", very thin limbs and small wrists) so I am always weary that a masseuse will work me too hard. I have had pain the next day at other massage places - really bad pain - but THIS WAS NOT THE CASE HERE. Jan was gentle enough but still worked out my knots. My bf also loved Mr. Lee. He's super friendly and so Mr. Lee engaged him in conversation the entire time lol. They ended the massage by giving us chocolates and two glasses of champs (as promised on Groupon) and we just had an amazing time. I've been to other fancier spas before (Bliss in NYC, for ex - I recently moved from NYC to LI) and this was awesome. And a great deal! We are going back very soon! read more

I'm a long term customer who loves this place. I found this through Amazon local deal at the end of 2014, (it's now the end of 2015). It's a small commercial space made cozy and inviting by clever decorating. I had a great massage and amazing facial experience. I was offered the specials to purchase at my first visit and did so gladly. I've been offered subsequent deals which I purchase as that helps me justify my monthly indulgence of having a facial and massage. I find the staff to be friendly, the treatment rooms to be clean and relaxing and the products used during the facials to be outstanding. The quality of my skin has improved dramatically. My neighbor and I sometimes go there and then to lunch for a great "girls day out". I find Dee to be extremely knowledgeable and caring. About two months ago I had come straight from my chiropractor for my facial appointment. During the facial I experienced a back spasm, (that clearly had nothing to do with the facial). I said I'd be fine and was just going to grin and bare it until it passed, but Dee went and got Mr. Lee who immediately "fixed" my back. With just two moves the pain was completely gone. Ever since that experience, I have been using Mr. Lee for my massages as I was truly impressed by his skill level. BTW-there was no charge for Mr. Lee helping me that day, nor was I asked to tip him. It was just caring people helping me. Is the spa Manhattan quality? No, but it's clean and safe and they are not charging Manhattan prices either. I believe that this spa offers good value for money. I enjoyed the total experience. From the moment we walked into the welcoming reception area, to the thoroughly relaxed feeling I had sipping champagne and having chocolates after the massage. The location is nicely decorated, and the aromas are comforting, not overwhelming. The staff was friendly and asked appropriate questions to ensure a satisfactory experience. Oh, and the massage. My boyfriend purchased a gift certificate for me from Amazon for a couple's massage at this "spa". We made an appointment and went for our service back in March 2014. The massage therapists who treated us were very nice women. Only thing we really joked about was right after they massaged us, one went to an area basically in the same room just separated by a drape to snack on chips. As we were getting dressed, we could hear her chewing. Did not really bother us, we understand everyone gets hungry but it was a little unprofessional. As we were leaving, we were met by the two massage therapists, the receptionist and I'm not sure if the other person was the owner or manager. They were getting ready to close but offered us a special on a couple's hot stone massage. Being that we were new to this "spa" and we wanted to support the growth of a small business, we decided to purchase it. We were not given a gift certificate, we were just told to call to make an appointment and that it would be documented. It is now July and my boyfriend and I decided to try out the hot stone massage. I call Didi's Paradise and spoke to someone who advised me that she does see we were in for a couple's massage in March and that we purchased a hot stone massage but that I should double check to see if I have a certificate. I told her ok, I will check but I highly doubt I was given a certificate. The very next day I called back to inform them that I do not have a certificate. The young lady at the reception passed the phone to her manager. This manager got on the phone explaining that as with any spa, you are given a certificate to redeem the massage. She barely let me speak trying to explain how spas work and how I would not be able to come in for this service until March of 2015 when they check the certificate receipts to see if anyone presented the certificate. She told me that even though we are the ones who purchased the massages, anyone could "find" the certificate somewhere or if we gave the certificate to someone, they would have to honor the service. I told this woman, we would like to come in for the service, we can come in with identification since she had our names, we are to be the only recipients of the massages. If anyone was to "find" the certificate and try to use it, they could be denied because it was already used by the purchaser. She advised me that no, their system does not keep track of the certificates that are being used and that we would have to wait until next year because they are not going to look back to see if the certificate was presented twice... still trying to figure out how that is effective. She refused to honor my request and even started being rude with her responses. She told me that I need to learn how to manage my money and refused to release her name. I have never written a review on a business, but this place is so unprofessional, I feel as if they need to be exposed for not wanting to help their clients...they just want your money. Perhaps they will understand what customer service is all about. I do not need a lesson in money management, as a matter of fact...maybe this incompetent manager needs a lesson in BUSINESS MANAGEMENT and she can buy a new system that can provide them with efficient and accurate data information to help them better serve their clients. read more

I never write reviews but the converstation I just had on the phone with the manager left me stunned!! I puchased a groupon for a 1 hour massage...seeing that I live in the area I thought it might be a good opportunity to find a new place I can go to for massages, etc. When I purchased the massage, I was told I could use it as a prenatal massage, "no problem" the lady said. Last month I called to make my appontment, it was scheduled and then they had to cancel it due to unforseen cirumstances. Today, I called back to reschedule before the Groupon expired. She didn't even want to give me any options prior to expiration...I had to push it. When I told her it was for a pre-natal massage, she started telling me that I would have to pay extra and blah, blah, blah. I had told her that when purchasing the groupon somebody that works there mentioned to me that it could be used for the pre-natal. She continues to argue with me saying that nobody would ever say that. I told her "I wouldn't of purchased it, if that was the case". Instead of her giving me the courtesy of apologizing on the other person's behalf and making accommodations...she continued to just be rude. I explained that I lived in the area, this was a way of finding a new spot, and that I often recommend other people to go there, and that other people I know where planning on purchasing the groupon.
