Went here today with my husband for a couples massage and korean body scrub. Both services were excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. You really felt like you were being taken care of because they wanted to. We got to soak in a private hot tub for 20 minutes, then were led to the steam room, scrubbed down, massaged, and finished off in the sauna. The place was extremely clean and very tranquil. We got very lucky because we were the only ones there at that time so we had the whole place to ourselves. Felt like a rooftop garden. What an amazing first experience! This place came highly recommended by my mom's coworkers so my mom and I each made an appointment to go together. She had the anti-aging facial and I had the 1hr deep tissue massage. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. They had us change into our robes and guided us to our rooms. My mom said the facial felt amazing and rejuvenating. Not only was her face treated, but they extended the facial to her neck and chest. They also included a head massage, arm stretches, and an upper lip wax. For my deep tissue massage, my masseuse (I wish I knew her name) was very attentive. Before she began, she asked if I wanted medium pressure or hard pressure. Given it was my first massage I selected medium to start. I have a lot of tension held in my back, due to working on my feet in healthcare, and she really helped relieve years of tension I've gotten used to living with. I never knew my back could be this relaxed! Lol During the whole experience she made sure to check-in and confirm how I was and if anything was painful. Which I appreciated. As a first time customer, I was excited to try this spa near me; it seemed like the ideal place to relax and chill. The manager or owner was very nice. She gave us all the instructions. My party of 3 all got the 90 mins massage. The massage itself was good, but they kept the door open for most of our session. The lounge area outside was super noisy and it made our what supposed to be a relaxing time, turned into semi stressful. Towards the end, we couldn't take it and asked them to close the door. Went midweek for a body scrub and 90 minute massage and could not be more impressed and happy when I left. The body scrub as a first timer was definitely eye opening but very professional and felt amazing once I was done. I came here for a one hour massage because they accept the spa wellness gift card which can purchase on after pay lol. The spa had parking underneath and an elevator to take to the second floor. The place was zen and nicely decorated. They welcomed me the moment I walked through the door and brought me to the changing room where they gave me a white comfy robe. Cindy did my massage and she did a great job. She massaged my whole body even my arm pits lol. She even tried to crack joints and stretch my back out which felt so good even though I didnt crack that day for some reason. They say minimum $15 tip but I thought Cindy earned it. At the end of the great experience; I was told there was a 20% tip and %4 fee to be added on to my bill. The charges totaled $25 over what I expected to spend based on hidden charges. I did ask in advance what the normal percentage for tipping would be and I was told %15. A bit scammed on the price & I don't mind tipping but I like to know what the fees will be in advance. Well to start off, the (only professional female) masseuses are all very cute, sweet, caring, & loving. They are very helpful & amazing. Very clean & very attentive. I highly recommend the Korean Body Scrub & the 1 hour massage. Trust me you'll love it ! That being said, body scrub feels so refreshing, rejuvenating skin & so airy. They put you in a nice jacuzzi room to soak in to soften your skin, then they move you to scrub room where they scrub you head to toe. It was so relaxing. I feel like skin is more lighter, a bit red but it's normal, & my skin feels so smooth & light. After they are done, they move you to get the best massage ever! I came to this spa with my grandmother and aunt for a relaxing day and to spend time quality time. I was told we were doing scrubs and massages. Wow was that quality time intimate! The staff is super welcoming and kind, my family has come here many times, however, this was my first time and I felt very comfortable with the staff. This is not a spa where you were going to experience glitz and glamour, however, it is clean and they do good work. We booked the scrub/30 min massage. This package includes a jacuzzi soak, time in the sauna, the scrub, a massage, then a siesta in a Himalayan salt room if you would like to. My scrub included a scalp scrub and hair wash--that scalp scrub was DIVINE. I have no complaints about the services. My aunt told me they used to have refreshments readily available, I'm assuming that ended due to Covid so I'm curious if that will once again be offered. My only complaint is that I wish the tub was a little deeper as I'm tall, I also think the tub faucets could use a good scrub (no mold but calcium build up). They checked in periodically to ensure we were happy. The body scrub was a first experience for us both and you first sit in a hot Jacuzzi to open your pores. Then you are brought to a room with a table covered with towels and someone washes tou first and the scrubs all the decaf skin of your body and I do mean all!!! This was an absolutely magical honeymoon spot. They welcomed us to the VIP room with multiple workers being reassuring and helping us find our spaces, giving us new robes, and having us settle in. They pampered us for hours leading from a head and foot massage, through the jacuzzi and body wash and wrap leading up to a heavenly massage. All the while we were side by side and bride and groom. All touch was appropriate. The levels of exfoliation followed by wrap led to a massage that was sublime. The VIP room had a jacuzzi for two and two massage tables with a bathroom and a table and chairs to have some foot. There were fresh roses galore. I booked a 90-minute massage for my husband and I for our anniversary. The establishment was nice and clean. They have a parking lot in the rear. They take you to the locker rooms to change and provide you with a robe. One thing I didn't like, they had these reusable slippers that they give people to wear. That made me uncomfortable to think how many put their feet in those slippers But onto the massage. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. When she took us to our room, she began to stress that if they massaged us too hard to let them know. She must've said it like 4 times. Now I see why! My massage lady put her entire forearm and elbow into my back and spine! I did have to tell her to ease up like twice. But I found that the massage still hurt a little bit. I didn't make a fuss because it is a deep tissue massage AND we WERE told to speak up. So these women probably thought they were doing an excellent job lol So just a heads up if you come here... let them know if it hurts. Sometimes people don't want to ruin the mood and just sit there and take the pain. But if you're paying for a service you should be satisfied. Overall I was happy and will probably go back again. Than the owner of the place told me that she is sorry but they have a minimum $15 tip policy. I was shocked! You can't make me leave tip. She said that's how her ladies earn their money. There is locker with a key to pack all your stuff away and you walk with your key. No jewelry, no phone etc. which I'm okay with because I want my peace. Genders are separated. So that's good for privacy when getting undressed. Since I did a package deal, I was able to get in the jacuzzi before my scrub and I loved it!!! Very private!!! Then after all that they have a mediation room available over the weekend for free. For this Spa place have to book an appointment no walk-ins which I agree. Took my husband here for a spa day for Father's Day. For the two of us I spent $290 on 30 min reflexology (foot massage) and 60 min (deep tissue massage) for 2. The woman who booked our appointment (Sue) was sooooo accommodating and sweet. She made sure we had the absolute best experience and my husband left feeling so relaxed. My only suggestion is that they should have heated towels and the relaxation music should have been a bit louder. We could clearly hear the chatter outside of our room which made it hard to relax. Rooms surround the courtyard and a small cottage is set in the middle. In that small cottage is a beautifully assembled salt room. Okay before I begin my review I just want to say that I have NEVER been to a spa before nor have I ever had a professional massage done. I booked a one hour couple's massage for my wedding anniversary as well as the VIP room. Since we went during the week day we got a discount on the package. I was hesitant coming during COVID but they really did a great job taking the proper precautions. The changing room was clean, the VIP was very clean with fresh sheets, and the staff all wore masks. The VIP room was beautifully decorated with flowers and scented candles. We were allowed to bring our own drinks and food to eat on the little table they provided for us.
