I'm honestly shocked that this place has such good ratings. I called earlier this afternoon to make an appointment. They took neither my name nor my number so I'm not sure how that qualifies as an appointment but sure. I show up at the time and am shown to a small room created by a hospital curtain. The masseuse said nothing, just pointed to a basket and left. I took off my clothes (except underwear) and laid face down. I got the 30 min body and 30 min feet. They started with "body".... AKA just back. The man spent 27 minutes on my back and 3 minutes on my arms. No hands, barely arms, and no legs AT ALL. After this the man opens the curtain, with me still half naked on the table and points out of the "room" saying "chair". I say, "what?" And he again says "chair". I said, "why? It doesn't seem busy I'd like to stay here" and this man huffs and puffs and leaves for a second for the woman to come back to tell me it's fine for me to stay where I am. Please note that this woman sat outside of my curtain the whole time watching videos on her phone WITH NO HEADPHONES!!! The man then says, "face?" And I say, "what?" And he again repeats himself. Me, still confused, says, "what about my face" and this man proceeds to SLAP MY FACE!!!!! I stare at him in shock and he the proceeds to give me a "face massage" aka he just pushed his hands down on my face. His hands smelled so gross, like feet. I'm gagging just thinking about it. He then started the 30 minute feet portion which was actually 25 minutes of legs and 5 actual minutes of feet. When it's all over I ask him why he hit me in the face and they all just stare at me. Grateful for good friends who let us experience the wonder of this place. They gifted us an hour spa treatment . We had 15 minutes of body massage then the remaining time was concentrated on doing our legs and feet. What do you expect when you are in a relaxing and quiet place while the therapist is handling you well? You doze off the entire session. We were a bit early on our appointment time but they tried to see us as soon as possible. There are lounge chairs lined up when we walked in and they seated us next to each other on an ottoman chair a-crossed. We were asked the degree of the massage we want and asked to dip our bare feet on the bucket filled with warm water. Then the massaging session starts. The first 15 minutes of the treatment was focussing in our back, arms, neck, shoulder and head. Then we were asked to sit on the recliner chair, then continued doing our legs, feet and toes. Staff is nice. Gentle and caring. My therapist hits the right spot to untie the knots. I'll come back to try just the body massage set in a private room. It's at a convenient location and inexpensive, and the massage therapist did a wonderful job getting out my knots. I've had the hour full body massage and recently started hour and a half and adding a foot massage as well because why not ! Also we tend to disregard our feet and they hold up our entire body ! Came in 2 weeks ago on a Sunday with my best friend. She wanted to check out this place because she had seen this place while driving by and read the reviews on yelp. When walking in you are semi greeted with the man at the front desk about what type of massage you want. We were taken right in. Once in it is a dark narrow music soothing place. There is a line of lounge chairs where ppl were also getting a foot massage. When the masseuse starts he rinsing your feet first and adjust your chair. The massage we decided to have was for 15 mins. Those 15 mins were the best. He massage my feet, toes, calf and legs. He was also very aggressive but I did not mine. I will definitely positively come back again. Came here with a good friend of mine, convenient location. her massage was good. Mine on the other hand not so good, I barely felt it even when I asked for a bit more pressure. My female massage therapist was too tender. I couldn't concentrate or relax because there was a man in the background moaning loudly and another man answering his phone every time he had a call, along with the chatter in the small lobby of people coming in and out.(I was in the first room next to the lobby) not to mention the pillow they used to put my head on once I was turned over was in incredibly rough shape. $16 for 30 mins foot massage! The day I came in after lunch, when I woke up in the morning, I couldn't get out of the bed. My body especially my back was in pain, I just couldn't move. I searched my phone near my bed, thinking I need to call my business partner that I can't get up! It was that bad. The whole morning, I was suffering from body pain and extreme fatigue, I thought I was going to faint. So I begged, pleaded, whatever it takes and asked my business partner to drive me to the nearest reflexology place after lunch. Back rub while soaking my feet was amazing. I had to go back to work, so I only had 30 mins massage otherwise I would definitely went for at least 60 mins. After short 30 mins of relaxation, my whole body felt so much lighter, this massage got me thorough for the next two days. So you know, a staff will put your socks and shoes back for you after the session. I had toe socks (socks with five toes) on that day, he struggled trying to put toe socks on me (I helped). I suggest wearing regular socks for that reason. read more

Initially, I called and made reservations for 1pm. I arrived at 1:20pm and rushed in worried that my hour massage would be cut short. (Note-to self and others: parking is difficult b/c there's only metered street parking and tricky signs on side streets) There were about 4 people that greeted me at the door and not one of them spoke English. I spent another 5 minutes trying to explain that I was late and had An appointment. Then when I gave up and just decided to go inside, spent another few minutes trying to figure out what they were asking me (which was if I wanted a 'boy or girl' masseuse.) When the doors opened I was taken back. I wasn't expecting an open room with people getting massages. Normally when I go for a massage, it's in a room separate from others. (Think of it like an open loft with tables and chairs. To the left are about 20 tables, and to the right are about 30 chairs for foot massages.) I have no problem with people being so close while getting a foot massage but I think it's a good 'heads up' when it's your first time on what to expect. Clearly they focus on quantity and not quality. After my massage, which was great, I was escorted back outside to pay. No tea, no water, just the mere basics. After all, what should you expect for a 60 minute massage that costs only $29? Tax and tip are included so it's a steal!
