I should of trust the BAD Yelp reviews when I was skeptical about hiring him. Diego shows up when he wants and when he doesn't... he doesn't even call you to let you know. He makes nothing but broken promises over and over again. Him and his Dad ruined both of our pools. One pool he drained without my knowledge. How can I pay you monthly for both pools and it was that bad that he had to drain the water??? ( Hence he hasnt been showing up to the house and I been paying him all this time). I paid him monthly for both houses every month. Just recently I didn't pay because one house pool was drained and he just left it there drained and dirty. The other house was so green it started to grow mosquito larvae. There was so many swimming in the pool. He messages me to please send him money for June? Are you kidding me? My pool is green with wrigglers swimming in it and the other pool is damage.... why would I pay you for services that he didn't provide to keep my pool clean? He took out our filter and broke it. He bullshitted that its old and needed to be replaced. (We just bought all new filters a few months back) He never came back to reinstall them. Left it there dirty pulled apart drying in the sun so it could get even more damaged. Meanwhile the pool is not filtering and turning green with wrigglers all over the pool. It was so disgusting. I'm so upset that he had the nerves to tell me, " you don't have to pay for the other house.... just pay me for the other house." He promised to come by the next day and never did. Then he said," I'll come by Sunday" and never did... In the beginning he told us every Tuesday. Then that changed to Saturday without our knowledge then one day it changed to Sunday again without telling us. Yet we were very nice and never had an issue if he came another day.... then he started doing the not show up for weeks, leaving the pool green and nasty blaming it on the filter. Charging for filter cleaning. Dude show up to work and work! He skips both houses for weeksssss. How do you expect me to pay you for June when both pool looks like shit the last 2 months? You get paid when you do your job and show up. Check your camera guys. I'm warning you... he doesn't not show up weekly sometime longer. If he does show up he takes 5 minutes SKIMMING THE POOL and takes off. read more

Do not hire this pool Service. Diego will ruin your pool and cause thousands in damages to filters, equipment, tile stains, wall stains, algae, etc. He shows up in the winter off season and then when the summer comes he doesn't show up and algae wreaks havoc on the pool. He misses a lot of weeks and tries to still charge for them, even when the pool looks so dirty, cloudy and green. Just check the other reviews here on how many pools he has damaged this summer alone. he causes so much damage to the pool that your not able to use it the whole summer when he promises to fix it and complete his service. He's also using a new company name Young Pool Service on other platforms. Be warned and just hire another company that has more than 1 young kid working. read more

UNRELIABLE and POOR QUALITY OF WORK. Originally gave them a 5 star review and then things went downhill after I posted that original review. Which is too bad. He charges less than most people that service pools you can find on Yelp. But what does that matter if he doesn't always show up to actually clean the pool. And when he does show up, he mainly does an okay job. He let our pool go green with Algae on several occasions. I'm not sure he's ever vacuumed the pool. He's cleaned the filter twice in two years even though he said he would be doing that twice a year. He started out okay but within months just became unreliable. We kept giving him chances for almost 2 years. He often would not come on the day he's supposed to come and not even let us know if he was coming another day. More often than not he just wouldn't show up for the week. He also damaged our fencing in the pool area without letting us know and we discovered it weeks after. We didn't even make a big deal out of it. Even though we'd recently just spent a pretty penny getting that fencing installed. I don't even know how many times he changed the cleaning day on us and we just went with it hoping he would at least show up consistently and he'll be good for a week or two then back to being unreliable again. After another no show, no call week, we just hired another company. They even pre-cleaned the pool for free because it was slightly green from Algae. They're only $15 more and I'd rather pay more for reliable service than less for someone who often doesn't even show up to do the job you paid them to do. You really do get what you pay for. If you're here looking for a monthly pool service company, I'd highly suggest you hire someone else. read more

We hired Diego to service our pool, and when he showed up, his work was solid. He clearly knows what he's doing when it comes to pool maintenance, and I appreciated the quality of the service itself. That part was never in question. The issue--and it's a big one--was the lack of communication. When he wouldn't show up for a scheduled service, there was no text or call to let us know. I'd have to follow up myself just to find out what happened, and even then, I rarely got a clear reschedule date. On multiple occasions, Diego promised to come by and didn't, with delays in responses that took several texts to get a reply. The reasons he eventually gave may have been legitimate, but clients shouldn't have to chase down basic updates. Diego has potential, and I truly hope he succeeds in whatever direction he goes professionally. But if he wants to build a strong, reliable business, he absolutely has to improve his communication. For service providers, especially in something like pool maintenance where trust and consistency matter, staying in touch is not optional--it's essential.
