It couldn't have been easier. The cord on my 8-foot-long blind had snapped, and I wasn't sure how to take it down or bring it in for repair. The repairs are fast, efficient, and reasonably priced. If I had any complaints at all about the company, it would be the AI answering service. It works, but if my call isn't returned the same day, it would be disappointing. Vicki called an hour later, and Ed was here the next day. I highly recommend. They have really gone out of their way to assist us in a blind repair coming out twice and we live in McMinnville. They have a travel charge but it's well worth it. They show up on time! They let us reschedule several times as we both work remotely and last minute things came up. Super polite and gracious . They also cleaned our old mini blinds and they look brand new. They wear shoe coverings and a mask if asked with no eye rolling. We used their designer to give us a quote on new cellular blinds and even going with their budget ones it came to $9500.00 .. which was steep so we passed on that. To be fair that included a large patio type door but it was still spendy. That was 10 windows including the patio type door. The other windows were normal standard sizes including three, 25x 72 windows. Just out of our budget .. Overall they are a fabulous company to work with!! read more

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it is that we need to be patient. Seems like everything is either delayed, out of stock, or has an indeterminate timeline for delivery. That is not true diehard blinds. They deliver right away, with the highest degree of craftsmanship and attention to detail. We moved into a new home, and the blinds in the were . . . Shall we say, failing. Miserably! I called diehard blinds, and within 72 hours a technician was out at our house - fixing the blinds and assessing all our window treatments to make sure everything operated well. I can't say I had high expectations. We're new to Oregon and didn't have a line on a good blinds supplier or installer. We got VERY lucky. We contacted blindsgalore.com and got a good deal on solar-powered, exterior shades for an atrium that's practically all windows (14). On their site we had an option to use a service called National Blinds Installation which links you up with local people who can measure and/or install your blinds. Having failed in the past to measure blinds correctly, I went for this service and got hooked up with DieHard Blinds. The initial measurer came out and gave us a thorough assessment of our choices. One major suggestion was that we could still use solar power for our motorized (battery backup) blinds but that we should install them indoors. There were lots of good reasons to do this and we OK'd it. We had to modify our blinds order but blindsgalore.com sent us just what was ordered thanks to DieHard Blinds and when it came to installation, the problems that they overcame to make the blinds do just what we wanted was impressive. They checked with us so that we could make decisions with as much input from them as needed without our losing sight of what our major goals were. The result has been wonderful. Hunter Douglass recommended...wtf?! Was told the blind repair would take 2 weeks. 6 weeks later and after having left 3 unanswered messages I drove out there to pick them up. They were punctual and the blinds they removed for cleaning were cleaned well. Unfortunately the blind they removed for restringing on one side is now lopsided. I did not pull the blind up to check to see whether it was even or not, I assumed the technician would have done that, regardless, when I pull the blind up it has a tilt to it. To be fair, I haven't called them to let them know as I don't open that blind often. But I would think they should check their own work upon installation. read more

Had a great experience having DieHard come over and repair various blinds issues. Some were jammed, some huge re-stringings, and some were small re-stringings... they did it all and in good time. My spouse called them to come out to Sherwood and fix two mini blinds in the kitchen. They set up an appointment and came out as agreed. 3 Weeks later one of the strings broke again. We were really busy and we didn't do anything until 3 Months later when I found the receipt. I sent an e-mail in the weekend to see if they could do something.
